Al Nassr is the most competitive team in this competition, when compared to the other 3 teams. they have Ronaldo, Sadio Mane, Otavio, Taiaca, Brozovic, Fotana, these players are quite reliable in every match they play. especially Ronaldo, he has colleagues who are able to provide services to him. So it would be very natural if Ronaldo was much more productive than last season. Last season, Ronaldo played 16 matches and was only able to score 14 goals. Ronaldo has only played 7 matches this season, but he has scored 9 goals. and that, has the potential to further increase his goal tally every time he plays match after match in this competition. It could be that this season Ronaldo will be the top scorer. Likewise with Mane, from his 7 matches he has contributed 6 goals in this league. Al Nassr, is quite productive in terms of scoring goals.

However, they also have competitors, Al Hilal who are no less productive and they have scored 21 goals in 7 matches. Al Hilal players are quite productive when it comes to scoring goals, especially if Neymar has been able to adapt well. Of course, this will add to the excitement of this competition. Now the two teams are only separated by 2 points, and the competition in the future will be even more intense.

Likewise with Al Ittihad, who are now at the top of the standings. What is certain is that it will not be easy for Ronaldo and Al Nassr to win the league trophy this season even though they have a competitive squad. because their competitors are also quite strong and great. I'm sure the fight for trophies this season will be more exciting than the previous season.
It's just that they didn't start the season perfectly because their first two matches ended in defeat. But I remain optimistic that Al Nassr will be able to maintain their pace with the winning trend they have achieved. Apart from that, Ronaldo, Sadio Mane and Talisca have found their best form to complement each other to be able to contribute to continuing to win. For the time being, Al Nassr has a point difference that is getting closer to the team above it.

For other teams, they continue to try to maintain their consistency so as not to lose points in vain. Because if they fail to take advantage of one opportunity, other teams will shift their ranking. Currently, Benzema and Ronaldo are the two players who steal the attention in every game, but for Neymar he has not been able to provide much attraction after his first debut did not go well.

Al Nassr got forwards like Mane and Ronaldo and I think the top scorer of this season will be between the palyer in their team.
Ronaldo scored two goals but it doesn't mean Al Ahli is not a good team and they don't have strong players like Al Nassr, we should not forget there are many famous players, playing in Al Ahli in this season.

Al Nassr have competitive opponents for the SPL title, only the best team will lift the title. Al Nassr have high quality players that are determined to win significant trophies this season, it would be entertaining to watch the beat actions from these players this season. The Knights of Najd would impressed the supporters, however they have started their best game tactics, thrashing their opponents with ease efforts. Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mané do form quite brilliant pairing in the frontline, but the fact, Ronaldo is favorite to become the top goal scorer this season because he's consistent in his excellent performance.

2 goals made by Ronaldo against Al Ahli. This also made An Nassr narrowly win by 4-3. This condition makes Ronaldo even further away from the temporary SPL Top scorer. Until week 7 Ronaldo has made 9 goals, much more productive than last year. In addition, Ronaldo proved he is still good enough if he has a partner who is able to provide services in the form of good passes. While the newly arrived Mane has also made 6 goals.

The game of yesterday was what the Saudi League needs to become a new football light in the world, it was a very fun to watch game between Al Nasrs and Al Ahli. This was a mayor test for the league, because if they failed and was a boring game, nobody will see the next important game between big teams.
I don't even think people would stop to watch it if the previous game was a boring game. I remind you ronaldo has the biggest fanbase in the world. There would still be thousands of his fans were watching him to play.
The fans are only willing to see their superstars in action.  Cheesy

Yes indeed, basically as long as Ronaldo is still playing then of course the team and the league will remain popular. Moreover, the competition in the Saudi Pro League is also becoming more interesting because yes, with the balance to bring in star players from several existing clubs also makes its popularity increase. Moreover, at this moment that Al Nassr still has to have great efforts to be at the top of the Saudi Pro League standings. So yes, with that factor too, of course. every time Al Nassr plays, Ronaldo will also still try hard to get three points. Therefore, the matches played by Al Nassr will still be interesting and will never be boring, even though they only play against mediocre teams in this league.
I think even though he leaves the league I think the league is the going to be popular because Ronaldo's represence has already created awareness to the league and alot of his fans viewing the league league because of him will still want to continue viewing the their matches because of how interesting it has become, moreover Ronaldo is not the only world class player in the league, there are still others like Neymar, Benzema, kante, and several other veteran players thst joined this season.

I just like how Ronaldo has improved the Al-Nassr league this season and I think there's a very high probability that they might win the league this season, though they'll face a very strong competition from their rivals, Al-ittihad and Al-Hilal who are currently at the top of the league, Al-Nassr are currently at the 5th position, 3points behind the current leaders, which means they still got a good chance of winning the league if they drop points again for a long time.

The news writes that after the game where Neymar received a yellow card (instead of a red one), the coach criticized his indiscipline in the locker room after the game (quite logical in my opinion). But after that, Neymar complained to the club owners and wants the coach to be fired! Can you imagine how arrogant this guy is? Poor Saudis, for the price of Neymar they could have bought 4-5 stars who would earn their salaries honestly, but instead they got an asshole who will drag the club to the bottom.
Al Hilal spend the wrongly on signing Neymar, he would served no purpose for the club, he keeps dribbling and doesn't mean business, which happens to be one of the purpose he was signed. Perhaps he's still new to the system, and he would relaxed with time. Al Hilal spend hugh figures for signing Neymar Jr from PSG this summer. The Brazilian is yet to show his impact on the team, rather he keeps making complains on the pitch and using aggressive language on the pitch towards his opponents and referees, basically that's his normal character, I'm already acquainted with him.
If you look at it from a business perspective, Al Hilal management seems to be agreeing to Neymar request. I realize that Neymar has a typical demanding character, and in the midst of a situation where the club is in the process of improving the image of the SPL, Neymar will be prioritized, it seems. However, I personally hope that something else happens, Neymar and Jesus can work together for a long time and choose a middle path to bring Al Hilal to finish at the top of the standings this season.

The money spent by Al Hilal to bring in the Brazilian striker was very large, and the salary given by the club was also quite large. However, so far Neymar has not shown a contribution commensurate with his price, if the situation gets hotter it is likely to have an impact on the club performance in the next match.

Jesus left his previous team with problems. When he was coach of Fenerbahce, there were reports that he had signed with another team and from then on points were lost in matches. Jesus' attitude in general is not good. Everyone criticized Neymar but Jesus is a difficult man to understand. He thinks he knows everything but he doesn't.

I don't know if Neymar is wrong in this debate, but I think Jesus is wrong. When he was at Fenerbahce he continued to play a lot of underperforming players and let them lose points.

You can't call a coach who didn't play Arda Güler when he was at Fenerbahce successful. Jesus is a very stubborn person and this stubbornness often leads to problems with players.

Talisca rarely gets the opportunity to play. he was also the top scorer for Al Nassr before Ronaldo and Mane came to the team. I think these three could be a dangerous forward combination for Al Nassr. I think the coach should give him more opportunities to play in the team. He has tried hard to show his quality in this match.

Al Nassr is still several points behind Ittihad and Al Hilal. I think Al Nassr still needs consistency of play to be able to catch up. The battle is still long and they must have many tactics to continue competing.
Talisca is such a good player. What happened is that he didn't have the desired fame and hype of the social media. If not for the presence of Ronaldo, he is one of such stars like AbuBhakar which the media will not report their efforts no matter how hard they try. Talisca himself acknowledge that Ronalso has brought him to the light of football. He is a good goal scorers. Few days ago I watched a match that he scored brace.
As you observed that the time is still far, maybe Al Nassr will have to learn how to play with only two finishers and  have a reserve incase of injuries or fatigue. The club knows what he is doing, just trust him.

Come on guys, you can understand more of what I said before. I said that they throw money "when" there is no impact for their league, and here what they do has a positive impact and that is from various things one of which is popularity.
It's part of the process, and I would consider it a very natural thing when money is the first step to doing something bigger. Moreover, they have the ability, yes we know they are rich entrepreneurs who are already known to many people.

I don't see anything wrong with them popularising their championship with big money. Any PR campaign requires a huge amount of money, and they only had to spend really big money once - on Ronaldo. And after his move to the league, other big names started coming in, but for less money, but still huge for the football world, it's like a domino effect, and very positive.
Actually, this is the first step they took, I'm sure they are already preparing for the next step in making a breakthrough as we know it today. Maybe in terms of popularity, it is very difficult to beat the popularity of leagues in Europe such as the Premier League, but what they are doing now is definitely making them more known to many people. And I'm sure even this forum didn't follow the SPL at first, but after this buzz we started to pay attention and started watching or even betting on SPL matches.

Ronaldo increasing the revenue of the league by 650% (even if this is just him last year and not all the stars they got this year) is normal because it was a league nobody even heard of. By comparison let me put it this way, this topic wasn't even created before he went there, it is not like he went to Spain back again and increased their revenue, we are talking about a league that didn't even had a topic here, obviously he would be very  big.

I mean even MLS was known just a little bit more, not really a lot more though, we knew it from Beckham back in the day and for a short sting Zlatan, so that sort of made sense but it was unknown too. All in all I would assume that Ronaldo is a huge name in sports world, so it was expected to have something like this.

After the game between Al Nassr and Al Ahli the Al Ahli players and coaches were thinking the referee didn't make good decisions and one reason for them to lose the game was because of the referee in this game.
Al Ahli spent and invested a huge amount of money for the players they have in this season and they expect to have better results but Matthias Jaissle seemed unhappy because of the referee in that great game.

For me there is nothing wrong with the referee's decision and I see everything is fine because the referee is wiser with his decision and this doesn't mean because I am an Al Nasr fan or not, but some of the scores that Ronaldo managed to achieve were no problem whatsoever and neither crossed the offside line.
But with what you said, I became curious why you said this about the referee problem? Meanwhile, everything went very well and Al Ahli's defeat was indeed a fate that had to be accepted when they visited Al Nasr with a narrow score and I also appreciate the performance of Al Ahli who were able to secure their position with a very narrow score.
So Al Ahli's defeat doesn't look bad because they were able to maintain the defense line so they didn't concede too many goals.

Yes indeed, Ronaldo managed to make two goals in the match against Al Ahli but Ronaldo did not make assists, while Talisca also managed to make two goals in the match but Talisca also managed to make assists in this match. With that result, it is certainly worthy for Talisca to be man of the match in this match, because Talisca managed to make a big contribution to the winning that Al Nassr got in this match. But yes, if we relate it to the list of top scorers, then of course Ronaldo has succeeded so far. So hopefully, Ronaldo will be able to maintain his position at the top of the top scorers in the Saudi Pro League this season, because last season Ronaldo failed to become the top scorer in the Saudi Pro League.

Well yes, obviusly the fanbase of Cristiano Ronaldo allways is gonna follow him and see his games, but if you want to be a sustainable league in the time you need to start to make a fanbase for the teams or the league, and Ronaldo doesnt have so much time left in his legs.

most people are paying more attention to this league just because of ronaldo, that is, it is not because of the quality of the league, but because ronaldo has many fans who follow him wherever he goes, even this is happening with other very famous players like Neymar. These very famous players who went to play in Arabia, they have on their team a marketing manager, investment advisor and their career manager, and they must have made analyzes that at their age and in the teams they are on and where they could play at most and the salary they could earn and the assets they could earn, so they give advice to the player that it will be better if the player goes to play in Saudi Arabia

future of this league in Saudi Arabia:

soccer is a business, the government only regulates the sector and lets the private sector have a free market, companies buy their shares in the teams or even buy the teams, the league does not get involved with politics and government interference, and so on. that evolves soccer. As long as the Saudi Arabian government puts money into certain teams and runs those teams, that won't work in the long term, China did that and it didn't work. That's not how a league evolves
Ronaldo moving to the Saudi Pro League heped as a medium to attract other players to move to the SPL as well and it attracted multiple top players around the world to the league this season including the Ballon D'or winner Karim Benzema and let's not forget that even though ronaldo has the highest football fans, fans of other top footballer would continue viewing the match even though Ronaldo decides to retire from football.

And I don't think he'll want to retire soon, maybe he'll stay for about two more years and before then more stars would be come into the league making it more interesting, of course most of these players came for the financial benefits but atleast their presence is making the league stronger and better for viewing to be entertained by it, it you watch the Asian cup final between Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal you'll understand, it was so interesting and attracted alot of viewers and comments on social media concerning the game.

However it takes a gradual process to get to the top, and i love how the Saudi's are gradually setting a standard in their league and it even better than it was in the previous years currently and i believe they'll do better than the Chinese league who got crumbled due to the Covid 19 outbreak, corruption, financial issues etc we all know financial issues can be a problem to the Saudi League.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a top player with lengthy experience in football, he's an incredible player that only strives for the best results in games. He has done quite a spectacular accomplishment in football, winning the major trophies in Europe, like English Premier league titles, La Liga, UEFA Champions League and Ballon d'Or on club levels, and also lifting an international trophy, Euro trophy with Portugal when they defeat France Euro 2016 grand final. He's different specie, despite he's old, there's alot he would offered at his present age. I keep repeating this statement, Al Nassr are fortunate to have Cristiano Ronaldo in the team, he brought fame to Saudi Pro League, generating a stream for European players to signed for SPL clubs.

Yes it's true. Even when his physical abilities weaken, Ronaldo still has a hunger for goals and victories. This gives motivation and will to both him and the team. Al-Nasr was very lucky with this purchase - after all (let's assume) they could buy Neymar, who seems to be incapable of producing anything other than media noise. It seems that Neymar moved to the Saudi League only so that, against his background, Ronaldo showed once again how great he is  Grin
There are big differences between CR and Neymar of course. Ronaldo is a superstar who is nearing the end of his career as a very hardworking and very determined athlete. He has written his name in history as one of the greatest footballers of all time. He was a joy to watch and he is about to end his career as a role model for millions of young people with what he did on the pitch. I don't know where he is in the list of the best after the greatest of all time, but I think he performed in his prime that could easily be in the top 10 of that list. His biggest misfortune was that he had to continue his football career at the same time as the greatest of all time, but he will always be remembered as one of the best. Ronaldo can live in arabia, china, africa, america, siberia or advertise them. It's none of anyone's business. He's had enough of a career. It's time for him to earn money by being in arabia, and have to note that he's still ambitious. He was offered good money and he didn't get any offers from other clubs at the time, so he went to arabia. I think he did the logical thing. A lot of people would go too.

In Al Nassr they bought a palyer who can be a true leader for their team which is a big advantage for Ronaldo and his team, we all know Ronaldo is more than just a normal player for Al Nassr.
But Neymar is younger and he can palyer for a longer time, there is a chance for Ronaldo to get retired at the end of this season but Neymar can definitely palyer for more years.
