But this season is a little different from last season and I also think that this season the competition is more competitive after many European players have arrived to join clubs in the Saudi Pro League making the competition stronger and I think towards the end of this season I predict there will be competition between Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr and this strong competition will be visible after entering 2024 because there will be big changes in each club and there will be the addition of new players in each club which will strengthen the performance of this Saudi Arabian club.
I think Al-Ittihad this season still looks very convincing to be the leader in the points table and I would also see Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr being below him to try to shift his position.

In current season, we have both teams in good form but in last few games Al Ahli is having problems, but their home record is best in early games which is giving them good advantage for staying at better level but Al Ettifaq is also doing good job under Steven Gerrard after few poor early results right now they are at their best even odds are clearly favoring Al Ahli which is also deserved because their attack is surely very aggressive in presence of Firmino and Mahrez.

In this season we have huge investments from these both clubs for the quality players and good coaching staff which is giving them good dividend and these both clubs are capable of staying into top spots until end of this season even for the title race things are not easy for these top teams.

Lifting Saudi Pro League title would be difficult for the club  because there's presence of other tougher players. Cristiano Ronaldo is the star figure that's responsible for the enhancement in performance for the Knights of Najd, not relenting, always targeting priorities to hits every single season. Ronaldo influence have made great impacts on his teammates, playing with the best qualities originates good results for the team. Al Nassr will fight to the very end of the league competition because they have the best players that would triggered good run ups for tougher games.

In the last 5 weeks Al-Nassr is the most consistent club in Saudi Pro League they never missed points and managed to secure these 15 points, I have no doubt that in the near future Al-Nassr can take over the standings or at least be in 2nd place. Tomorrow 3 top teams will play the 8th match including A-Nassr and Al-Ittihad, both teams will play an away match and there is no other choice they have to win if they want to secure their position. I agree with the thought. Now A lot of competition is seen in the Saudi Pro League points table. There is no big difference between the 6 teams at the top of the points table. But based on player condition and performance I would support Al Ittihad, Al Hilal and Al Nassr in this season. The gap between Al Ittihad and Al Hilal is 1 point and while third and fourth placed Al Taawoun and Al Ittifaq are ahead of Al Nassr but I would like to keep Al Nassr ahead. The consistency in Al Nassr's performance will continue in the upcoming matches. Al Taee have a match tomorrow against Al Nassr and i am optimistic about Al Nassr to win against Al Abha on October 6.

But at least, even though Al Nassr is currently in fifth position, but in reality Al Nassr is also only three points different from Al Ittihad who is at the top of the standings currently. So yes, with the points gap being relatively close, then of course Al Nassr still has a chance to continue to improve and take over the top position. It's true, the standings in the SPL in the future will definitely be even fiercer. especially for clubs that occupy the top six positions in the current standings. Because if I look, the clubs ranked second to sixth both won five of the seven matches played. Al-Nassr might be 5th on the table currently with just 3 points behind the league leaders but I still feel the presence of Ronaldo and Mane still makes them strong contenders of the Saudi Pro League and sooner or later if they continue with their good performance and don't drop any points they could top the league or be in the top 4 but that's if others above them carelessly drop points to give them an advantage of toping, if not for the 2 matches they lost they would had been the league leaders currently but there's still enough time for them to cover up since the gap is not very much, just 3 points away.

 They  would be facing Al-Ta'ee who are 12 in the table with just only 2 wins out of 7 games tomorrow, I expect Al-Nassr to be victorious and also Ronaldo to score so as to continue his lead as the highest goal scorer currently, last season he scored about 17goals he could pass that figure this Season because the league is still very early and he's already got about 9 goals if he score tomorrow he could get 10 or more goals.

Al Nassr stumbled in the first 2 matches, but after that they rose and recorded 5 consecutive wins. They knew they had to bounce back quickly when they lost their first 2 matches, and now their form is improving. Al Nassr can't top the table yet because other teams above them have more points so unless they all lose their next games (which is very unlikely to happen as they know Al Nassr is breathing down their neck) that's when Al Nassr can top the table. Al-Ittihad are topping the table and have the same goal difference with Al Nassr although Al Nassr has scored more goals. Any team that win in this week games has a chance to temporary top the table untill other games are played so this weeks matches between the top 6 positions will be interesting to watch as it's a must win match for all of them to secure their position in the top of the table. Al Nassr rise to the position they're currently at isn't a surprise because they finished second last season and are a top side. The only reason they didn't start well was because the players had the busiest break as they played until the finals and lifted the Arab Club Champions Cup.


Al Nassr match against Al-Taee is going to be a walk over for Al Nassr because Al-Taee aren't in form. They have lost 3 of their last 5 games and last two in a row, only gotten a win and one draw meanwhile Al Nassr are in form and Ronaldo was just rested for the last game Al Nassr played against Ohod in the King Cup of Champions›which means he'll be 100% fit for the game and we expect the combination of Ronaldo, Talisca and Sadio mane to destroy the defense of Al-Taee. The last 3 meeting between this two clubs has 9 goals with Al Nassr scoring 8 of them and this means Al Nassr aren't shy of scoring against them and with the form Al Nassr are in and especially Ronaldo, they should be winning comfortably and scoring more than 2 goals.

Looking at Al Ettifaq's current trend with three consecutive wins in the Saudi pro league after losing to Al Hilal, it shows that they have returned to their best performance to win many matches again, while Al Ahli doesn't look good because of the three matches they actually suffered two defeats.
However, I agree with you that this will be difficult to predict even though the home team is more favored, but Al Ettifaq still has a chance to win, but sometimes big matches like this end in a draw.

I realized that Al-Ahli did have very strong attacking sharpness. And it also has many European star players in it. But Al-Ettifaq is the same. In fact, to be honest, I prefer to favorite Al-ettifaq.
