Stupid messi was not even choosing this quality league compared with garbage MLS. Does he scary to face ronaldo or what? It will be so good to have him join in al nassr's competitor. I think that messi was choosing the wrong choice by joining in MLS instead of saudi pro league.
Saudi pro league offers similar atmosphere like european competition at this moment. Im still hoping messi to change his mind someday. It will be so good to see messi vs ronaldo again like when those guys were playing for barcelona and messi.

Attractive young talented players to join in the saudi pro league is far harder compared with aged players who are very close to retire. I think that we will see modric to come in SPL.
Moadric may leave from real madrid soon. SAudi pro league teams shall have anticipated modric's movement. It will be so good to see him join in SPL.
SPL will become bigger. I would like to see some legendary name to come but sadly hazard chooses to retire instead of joining in rela madrid.
I don't think wrong with Lionel Messi not choose Saudi Pro League and prefer for playing with Inter Miami in Major League Soccer or MLS, but have bad or disappointed decision because Lionel Messi will not play in competitive football more than three months later after Inter Miami failed qualify to playoff round. Actually its not moment for fighting or competition between Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo must playing in the same competition, both players still have opportunity with fighting each other on World Cup 2026 if not retired from national team.

Lionel Messi have show he has best achievement than Cristiano Ronaldo after winning FIFA World Cup 2022 trophy with Cristiano Ronaldo have poor performance with his national team.

Saudi Arabia is smart in taking advantage of existing opportunities and even though they failed to get Lionel Messi last summer, at least one of the GOATs and several other European star players are connected with the Saudi league. We know that with the influence of several names, these players can increase their exposure rapidly and what they have invested in will definitely work out according to what they want.

As you have said, with unlimited money, nothing is impossible in the world. It's just that I think in the future the standards for player prices will skyrocket if Saudi Arabia continues to give fantastic contracts to every player. I'm not sure whether this is good or not for football but of course this is a golden opportunity for star players who are close to retirement or even young stars like Mbappe to earn a lot of money. Yes, I admit that Saudi Arabia is very smart at seeing opportunities and on the other hand they have the money to make it happen.

Well, Sporting Lisbon will be the right place for him to end his career as a professional footballer. I also believe that Ronaldo will consider to return to Sporting Lisbon when his contract expires with Al Nassr.
Seeing how he loves his country, it is not impossible for us to see Ronaldo return to his childhood club, and interestingly Ronaldo will have a big chance to return to playing in the champions league if Sporting Lisbon can get a place to play in the tournament.

It would be interesting to see the greatest player of the Champions League again in this tournament and I would say that it is quite simple from the point of view that Portugal has 3 tickets to the Champions League and it should not be a big problem for Sporting to win one. But it seems to me that Ronaldo has other plans, he will play until the very end (without defining any year as his last) in Saudi Arabia and will end his career as soon as he is no longer able to play for the national team.

SPL has gotten huge attention with the signing of many important players but they need to do more. The league should also attract young talented players. Many players will not go the Saudi Arabia because the standard of football is still low. The league needs to improve the pay of not just these superstars but also emerging players this will help to attract more young players.

Money is not the only tool that is used to control football, politics is a major tool. An example in the case of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich. He helped to build one of the most successful clubs in England but the UK government stylishly took the club from him using political means. I am afraid that the investment from the Arab world in Europe might not be safe.
The Saudi Arabian league takes time in the development of their league to attract many talented players to join their teams. The saudi arabian league has only been acting aggressively for two seasons in bringing in top European players, But they are already able to compete with top-ranked european teams in the hunt for the signature of top european players. I am sure that the saudi arabian league will slowly become an attraction for young european players to join them in the coming season.

The saudi arabian league will definitely improve the standard of their league to be better every season by building a bigger stadium and also bringing in several referees who have big names in football. I think that slowly, with many top european players joining the saudi arabian league, The saudi arabian league will certainly become more competitive every season.

The paradigm is already changing and it is so obvious to everyone and including the Europeans. Before now the Europeans uses the world best players to control football just like what they did with Ronaldo and Messi in Laliga for so many seasons. If Saudi Arabia has learnt how to buy important players despite their age, they are one step closer to thin down the competition line.

The main tool to control this football industry is money and the Saudi Arabians are really to invest even more funds to achieve their desire. Time will tell how fast they will be to achieve this.

True, and at the end of the day, that is what Europe has been doing in the past. Basically using their money to attract great players into their leagues.

There is a small difference though, that is that the local talent in Europe is already at a great level, which is not true in the Middle East.

Maybe it will just take more money, but it is hard to imagine to basically buy an entire league worth of players. Even the US is trying to do something like that, and they are not even close.

But yeah, unlimited money does have its benefits, and maybe they can pull it off.

I am seeing a take over of Football interests from Europe as concerns are now heightened from the Saudis. More resources being pumped into the game and even offers rolling in to buy Manchester United with a whooping sum of money. This only tells me one thing, the game of soccer is about to change hands

It's funny seeing most Europeans complaining about the rise of players leaving top European Leagues for the Saudi Arabian League. They literally did the same thing years ago.
They attracted alll of African finest, Asians, North and South American finest footballers to build around.

They shouldn't take free will from players, allow this players to take them choice. They want to move outta Europe? They shouldn't be stopped. The take over of Manchester United so difficult. I doubt they're interested in the take over anymore. The glazers seems to be making it all difficult for them.

Al-Taawoun and Al-Ittihad both actually experienced the same increase. Especially Al-Taawoun who seems to be getting stronger this season. But Al-ittihad, which also has many European star players, will definitely be stronger than last season.
Agree that Al Taawoun is better this season than last season, but for Ittihad I don't think so because last season as a whole Ittihad only suffered two defeats in the league but this season, where the match will only enter the 10th week, they have already experienced one defeat and it looks like that too It will be possible to lose again when facing Al Nassr or another strong team so I predict that Ittihad will not be able to defend its championship title, and the European players they bought don't really influence them to be better this season.

Al Taawoun has been playing really well in this season so far. I will actually say that both they and Al Ittihad have been playing well in this season. I actually thought that the match was going to be pretty close, to be honest. I understand that one side is obviously going to be the favorite. But I think that people are really underestimating Al Ittihad in this match. I know that the odds are against them right now, but I believe they have the capability to actually win this match, the possibility of Al Ittihad winning this match is also not very low in my opinion. Especially when both of them have scored, and also conceded the same amount of goals Almost.

Last season or at the end of last season we know that Al-Taawoun managed to beat Al-ittihad at the King Abdullah Sport City Stadium which is Al-Taawoun's home. And it's possible that the same thing will happen again because this time the match will be held at Al-Taawoun's home ground, namely the same stadium where Al-Ittihad was defeated by Al-Taawoun last season, namely at the King Abdullah Sport City Stadium.

But something is different now. Because in terms of player composition it should be clear that Al-ittihad will be superior. Despite the fact that Al-Taawoun also surprised us all because they only lost once this season. Meanwhile, Al-ittihad has experienced 2 defeats.

But I feel that this match will be an important moment that will bring changes back to the standings. And it could make Al-Taawoun lose points and be thrown down to the down of the rankings.
Maybe there will be a lot of goals in this match. Because both teams will definitely make the same offensive strategy. So the aggressiveness of the game must be very high.

Well they're fully aware that the only way they could help boost their country's football and make their domestic league popular and more competitive is by using their financial capabilities to attract players to their league and so far it's working cause in as much as those players come to the league with a mindset of getting better wages, their presence alone in  the league has made it more popular and it's been influential cause it's created awareness to people all over the world, especially players like Cr7, Neymar, Benzema, kante and Mane that are world class players.

The Saudi league is gradually becoming very interesting, cause alot of people are now viewing their matches due to the kind of players present in the league, well i don't how long it might take but with time they'll be among the best in the world.

With unlimited money, they are able to buy big teams in Europe's top leagues and I think Saudi Arabia should do this gradually if they have the opportunity to own these clubs. The latest news is that Manchester United has rejected an offer from Qataris and this could be a golden opportunity for Saudi Arabia if they want to acquire Manchester United, but the owner is quite difficult to convince.
The journey of the Saudi league has just started and the league has succeeded in setting a unique precedent in the world. Although Messi is not included in the league, the dominance of European players is increasing. Since they are spending the most, their league will be progressively stronger. Financially, Saudi Arabia is strong enough that if they decide to take over the ownership of Manchester United, money will not matter much to them. But I doubt whether they would be interested in such a proposal at this point.

However, there is a match that is actually more interesting, namely Al Taawoun versus Al Ittihad which will be held in 5 days. Al Taawoun is now in 2nd place, while Al Ittihad is in 4th position behind Al Nassr. and what is certain is that both teams will both target full points to strengthen their position in the Saudi Pro League standings. Unfortunately, I have difficulty getting the latest information regarding the teams competing in this League. However, in terms of betting options, it seems that the bookies favor Al Ittihad in the meeting against Al Taawoun.

Even though this match is a home match for Al-Taawoun, it's true that the bookies still favor Al-Ittihad. Currently the odds on the 1X2 bet on Rollbit are:

[1] Al-Taawoun @4.9 | [X] Draw @4,1 | [2] Al-Ittihad @1,66

What's unique about this match is that even though the bookies are favorites with Al-Ittihad, in the last meeting between the two teams, Al-Ittihad lost with a score of Al-Taawoun 2 - 1 Al-Ittihad. I think the current odds might trap bettors, for me, it's better to avoid this match than to take a high risk.

It seems that what is interesting is not the result of their last match or meeting. Because I think the interesting factor at this moment is the quality of the squad of players that the Al Taawon squad has, at least it's not a luxury squad. But what is happening at this moment is about Al Taawon who managed in the second place in the Saudi Pro League standings at this time. Because team like Al Ittihad and several teams with luxurious squads should be able to dominate the top zone in the standings. But the facts are not as good as imagined, because even a team like Al Taawon has managed to compete well in the top zone of the Saudi Pro league standings so far this season.

Al Taawoun has been playing really well in this season so far. I will actually say that both they and Al Ittihad have been playing well in this season. Ronaldo was filmed saying "bismillah" while taking the penalty at Portugal as well. Saudi Arabia is really rubbing off on him and he seems to be enjoying life there, he scored goals as well for the national team and I am sure that when he comes back he will keep scoring again for his team as well.

The thing is, dude is very very expensive for them, but he is also bringing success and fame to them as well, he was a player that was bigger than the club when he came in and I am sure that he is still like that, I mean if you look at it from some personal perspective. That is something to care about and think about when making a transfer. Him being basically a spokesperson for the entire league? That wasn't even assumed and it is going that way very easily at this point.
Cristiano Ronaldo is having a great time in Saudi Arabia and he is very satisfied with Saudi Arabia. And he may extend his contract with Al-Nasser until 2026. That means he is likely to play for Portugal in the 2026 World Cup.
Muslims start by saying Bismillah before starting any work, according to the principles of Muslims, if you start any work by saying Bismillah, that work is good. Yes, that is basically why Ronaldo took the penalty kick by saying Bismillah before taking the penalty kick. Cristiano Ronaldo has had his worst time at Manchester United maybe waiting for a good time and he got that good time in Saudi Arabia. The way he has mixed with the Saudis, it seems he will stay in Saudi Arabia even if he gets a big offer from Europe now.
Cristiano Ronaldo has made it clear in his actions and words that he will soon convert to Islam. His wife wears beautiful modest clothes and his children are also living in Islamic clothes. Ronaldo is very satisfied with Saudi Arabia. He likes living in Saudi Arabia very much. Saudi Arabia is also very happy to have Ronaldo. Of course, Ronaldo will also extend his contract in Saudi Arabia until 2026 and he will play for his country in the World Cup. Ronaldo looks like a young man as he gets older. One of my favorite players I always wish him long life. I also wish that he will start living Islamic life very soon.

Checking the players of Al Taawoun, I think there is not a high chance for them to save their place until the end of this season because compared to the other teams like Al Nassr, Al Ahli, and Al Hilal, they do have not famous and top level player, also their coach, Péricles Chamusca is not a famous and experienced coach. They had performance performance to stay in this place of the table and got these results so far.
But actually Péricles Chamusca is a very experienced coach in the Arab League. In fact, last season he coached Al-Shabab and succeeded in bringing Al-Shabab to finish in the top 4 in the standings. And last season Al-Taawoun was also one of the strongest clubs in the standings even though they didn't have many European star players. Last season, Al-Taawoun also managed to finish in 5th place. And now or this season, Péricles Chamusca has left Al-Shabab and moved to Al-Taawoun, so it is not surprising that Al-Taawoun's performance is getting better under the coaching of Péricles Chamusca.

But I discovered an interesting fact from Péricles Chamusca's coaching career. On Wikipedia I saw that Péricles Chamusca had moved between coaching many clubs, moving clubs 32 times. In fact, in one year he can move 3 times. I thought it was a little cute and unique. In fact, he also coached Al-Hilal and it seems that after less than a year he moved back there. I find it hard to believe this but I think he has experience in many clubs but somehow he can't stay long in coaching one club. He kept moving around.

Well I think Al-ittihad really tried in against Al-Ahli but they were very unfortunate to lose Al-ittihad at home, they should had won the match but were so careless to a goal in the 1st half, if you noticed they dominated the game and even won in possession, they create more chances and tried to get a reply but luck wasn't on their side, Al-Ahli really defended the one goal they scored and didn't allow The home team to even get an equalizer.

Their next match is a very tough one against one of the top 4 teams away from their home, they might be unlucky again to lose that match but they need to be very careful and atleast try to grab a point, they need more points if they want to defend their title this season, Al-Hilal is a very tough team and with their performance this season they might overthrown Al-ittihad as the champions of the league this season.

Yes, Ittihad did dominate possession of the ball in that match, but it turned out that Al-Ahli's defense was strong enough so that the 17 shots that Ittihad took did not produce results, so the hosts were forced to accept defeat in that match, this is what Ittihad fans are worried about if they are not consistent. in facing matches in the Saudi pro league so it is likely that Ittihad will find it difficult to win the title like last season.

Ittihad manager Nuno Espirito Santo must carry out a good strategy and Ittihad players must perform as optimally as possible because currently Ittihad still has enough time to make several improvements and appear confident when facing the match against Al-Taawon next week, so that Ittihad can get full points and shifting Al-Taawon to its current position so that Ittihad's chances of winning the title this season get closer.

That's how the professional league is definitely getting better and it also has a lot of potential. Of course, the young players are still not going to go for Saudi League instead of Europe. Because right now Europe holds the most amount of glory for any footballer.  That's why a young player is obviously going to choose any big club from Europe 100% of the time instead of the Saudi League.

However if the Saudi league can actually get themselves to somehow be involved with the Champions League competition, maybe it will be different.  I don't know what the process is. But that can help them a lot if they can actually do something about any club from the Saudi League to compete in the Champions League.

Indeed. As long as Ronaldo doesn't win SPL title with Al Nassr, I think he will never to consider leaving Al Nassr. Besides his ambition, Ronaldo needs to prove that Al Nassr didn't choose the wrong player and Al Nassr worth to pay him with huge money. Ronaldo actually has a big responsibility to Al Nassr, they expect Ronaldo can motivate all Al Nassr player to win prestige titles like SPL title. Last season, he failed although they have a chance to win it. They couldn't win in some crucial matches, so they failed to secure the first place. We expect Ronaldo will make it real in this season, sadly Al Nassr performed badly in the early season. Now, they seem improving their performance, they are in the right way of title race although they are still in the 3rd place.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Al-Nassr missed good opportunity in the previous season. This one is very hard with many top teams coming to Saudi Pro League and annoying them seriously. Al-Hilal didn't lose any game. Al-Taawoun are resisting well. Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahli are playing good too.
I believe Cristiano Ronaldo might leave the club once he wants to retire or when there is no intention to renew the contract.

Well, Sporting Lisbon will be the right place for him to end his career as a professional footballer. I also believe that Ronaldo will consider to return to Sporting Lisbon when his contract expires with Al Nassr.
I think that he might consider this to give a good ending for his career unless in case of injury or thinking of another plan for his career like coaching.

I think winning the title is not the only thing Al Nassr wasn't to get with Cristiano Ronaldo. In fact, they want to use this palyer to hire more top players from famous European teams and that's why Saudi Arabia is trying to keep Cristiano Ronaldo in this country. After Cristiano Ronaldo joined this league there were many players who followed Cristiano Ronaldo.
True, but everyone wants to see Ronaldo can bring Al Nassr to become champions this season. Even though in this sense the owner of Al Nassr has other goals, we as fans certainly hope that our idols will succeed in bringing Al Nassr to a trophy this season. But yes, business is always there, so the parties there take advantage of Ronaldo's big name to introduce their league to be known throughout the world.

However, it is still an interesting competition to take part in if the competition is filled with many famous players. So this season the Saudi Arabian league teams have many top European players in their team. So it is quite interesting for us to watch every Saudi Arabian league match this season.

For Ronaldo, of course, he has made this season a big target to win a trophy with Al Nassr. he has fought quite well by contributing through the goals he scored.

In my opinion, even with many signings that the team that Ronaldo plays for has made, they are still not being a consistent team and this only gets worse because the other teams have also made big signings and when that happens there is a situation in which the teams have the same quality in terms of squad, and what will decide which team will win will be the team with the best coach, and in that part and where Ronaldo's team is weak, they don't have a great coach who has been victorious in Europe, for example, if we look at what al - nassr's coach has already achieved, we will see that he has not coached any major team in Europe

Therefore, it will be very difficult for him to win the Saudi league, the problem with the managers of these clubs is that they think that because the league is less competitive, they can hire any coach and just hire good players who will win many things, but they are wrong. In this analysis, a league becomes small because it has average and low quality players, but the moment many teams sign many high quality players, then the league becomes more competitive and requires the coaches of these teams in that league to be great coaches. also

Well i believe they've improved and it's even the  new signings they got this summer that's made them more better, the arrival of Mane have been very beneficial to Ronaldo cause they've got to understand themselves and it’s producing good results for Al-Nassr, atleast they've won a trophy this season, even beat Al-Hilal to win it, i think Al-Nassr are on the right track they're still very strong title contenders this season.

Al-Nassr coach might have not won any  major trophy but he's won the Arab club  championship cup this season and that's a boost for him and his team to do better and try to win the Saudi league it might not be very easy due to Al-Hilal and Al-Taawon's performance, well there's still hope for them cause they're currently at the third place and just 4 poins behind the league leaders the gap is not even very wide.
