Mourinho is someone who is hungry for titles. Resting Ronaldo was necessary because he isn't in his 20's again that he can play multiple games without getting tired. He's on his best form so far after leaving Real Madrid and have scored and started in all or most of his last games, he needed to rest because the opponents weren't much of a threat since Al Nassr has defeated them numerously very easily as well. Sadio mane was in the team and also Talisca and they both scored.
