Mitrovic is shining today, he scored 3 goals. He showed to people that he has great skills and played effectively as a machine goal of Al Hilal. I would say this was a totally unexpected result. After leading 3-1, Itihad should have played defensively. They could have secured the win by keeping the defense tight . But they don't. Despite performing very well in the first half, the performance of the ittihad players was very poor in the second half. Ittihad's defense completely collapsed in the second half. Itihad's forwards and midfield players played well but their defense was weak. However the match was competitive.

UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin dismisses threats from Saudi Professional League. What he said is true, Saudi Professional League won't go far by using money like this. They must focus on building up their stadiums, youth academies to grow up local young players who will be future of the league and their national team.

Buying many star players from Europe especially old players, will waste lot of money resource for youth academies and they must think differently. With young players, they can contribute for the league like 10 years or more but with those old players from Europe, they can only use those old players from 2 to 4 seasons. It won't help to increase quality of local players as well as the league quality in long term.

Soon after the joining of Ronaldo big players started to be part of different teams. This had made the league much more popular, however the standard and the European Leagues were something different from what we see with the Saudi Arabia Pro League. Here money is big and for the same we were able to see good players. Over time improvement will happen, as suggested it isn't good to be part of Saudi Arabia Pro League when young players have got opportunity for the European Leagues.

It is a good result for Al-Nassr I think. I thought that Al Ittihad wouldn't lose a game anytime soon, but see there it is. That was faster than expected, but it makes the league a bit more exciting although it is still somehow exhausting to watch those games unless you are a true fan of the Saudi Professional League or maybe Ronaldo specifically and watch every game of him. In terms of the quality of the gameplay I won't complain, but it shows that there is a lot the SPL would have to do to close that gap in gameplay quality compared to Europe.

Despite the fact that their odds are same, i expect Al-Hilal to win the match even playing from away, they've got a better squad and are one of the busiest Saudi club in the transfer window this summer so they look stronger and stand better position to win the match but it's the other way round because they match is currently 3- 1 I'm favour of Al-Ittihad and with a goal from the current Ballon D'or holder Benzema,they're currently on the half time break and Al-Hilal fans would be hoping for comeback in the second half which won't come easy.
