We enjoyed a very nice match between Al-Ettifaq vs Al-Nassr team. Al-Ettifaq team played very well from the beginning to the end of the game in today's match Al-Ettifaq team players R. Quaison and M. Dembélé played very well.  Their team won by scoring 2 goals. Al-Nassr scored 1 goal in the first 4 minutes of the game. After that, Al-Nassr did not score any more goals. In this match, no team scored after halftime. But I was hoping Al-Nassr  Maybe a late goal to draw the match but Al-Nassr couldn't do that.

Anyway, I am glad that Sadio Mané was able to score. Al Nassr was missing their star players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Talisca and Marcelo Brozović. With new players joining Al Nassr almost every week, it will be difficult for them to plan the team strategy. Latest news is that David De Gea is joining Al Nasser for this season. He represented Manchester United for 12 years, but they had refused to renew the contract for this season. Once he joins Al Nassr, he will be replacing Nawaf Al Aqidi and Amin Bukhari as the keeper.

I feel like there are some situations where things are not as good as they used to be, but winning the cup is definitely making them feel a lot better without a doubt. Ronaldo played magnificently and he brought the team that win, he was definitely the most important aspect of the team. This season he will finally have that training into season type of thing he needs, last year it was hard to get back on his feet after missing training, this year he will do a lot better without a doubt.

I think it is going to be a tough deal but we are going to see them fight for the title without a doubt. It just needs a situation where it will be a lot harder than people think, it is not going to be like a walk in the park, will be difficult.

Al-Ittihad won a big win in the match against host Al-Raed with a convincing score of 0-3. Even though Karim Benzema did not score a single goal in this match, at least he contributed through an assist to the first goal scored by Al-Ittihad. Another victory came from Al-Hilal against Abha with a score of 1-3. Coming as a guest did not make Al-Hilal find it difficult at all and Malcom even recorded his first hat trick in this match after he was successfully brought in by Al-Hilal this summer.

Meanwhile, Al-Ettifaq against Al-Nassr had to end in a narrow victory for Al-Ettifaq. This match brought together former Liverpool players, namely Henderson and Mane. Even though in this match Al-Nassr took the lead through Mane's goal in the early minutes, this did not last long because in the second half Al-Ettifaq managed to score two goals back as a sign of victory at his home game. In this match Al-Nassr was not strengthened by Cristiano Ronaldo because maybe he needed to rest after struggling hard to lead Al-Nassr to win the Arab club champions.

Looking at the starting line up, Al Nassr only fielded their local players with Sadio Mane as the first striker up front, while Ettifaq came down with full strength, several of whom were foreign players, apart from that defeat, it has proven that the club defended by players from the European league will perform better, and of the 18 clubs competing in the Saudi Pro League, only a few have bought players from the European league, so the competition here will be unequal, from now on, we can predict which clubs will compete for the title, at least there will only be Only 4-5 clubs and 4 are owned by the Public Investment Fund.

Yeah, but at first we didn't know that Al Nassr only played Sadio Mane and a few local players so many gamblers are fooled and bet on Al Nassr, I'm not trapped because I realized it when I saw the odds offered by the betting market it is definitely not normal for them to predict Al Nassr to lose or draw while we know Al Nassr is on fire after winning the last Tournament so I avoid Moneyline bets. Al Nassr has lost 3 points in the first game but it doesn't matter because there are still many games left I'm sure they can still catch up and collect the remaining points.

4 clubs as the main competitors of Al Nassr have taken their place in the standings each of them managed to secure 3 points Al ittiha, Al Ahli, Al Hilal and Al Nassr are clubs owned by the same company so it's not difficult for them to determine who will be the champion, this is a disadvantage in leagues that have more than 1 club the end result can be changed according to the wishes of the owner.

Well, exactly as I predicted before Al Nassr failed to gain 3 points Al Ettifaq managed to beat them so this is the reason the betting market favors Al Ettifaq based on the odds apparently there is no Ronaldo in the line up reportedly he was not included in the lineup because he was resting after bringing Al Nassr to the championship a few days ago, as we know Ronaldo's contribution was maximal in the last match so he needed more time to rest and the coach relied on Sadio Mane in attack, it started well when Sadio Mane scored the first goal in the 4th minute but unfortunately in the 2nd half Al Ettifaq managed to turn things around and scored 2 goals until the final score was 2-1 now we know how the impact and effect when Ronaldo is not in the line up, did any of you bet on Al Nassr to win?

After gets Arab Club Champions trophy apparently Luis Castro was attempt to rotating Al Nassr squad so that's why he didn't putting some of key players into the bench and Al Nassr starting lineup including Ronaldo but this strategy didn't run well because Al Nassr lose from Al Ettifaq but on the other hand this is good debut for Steven Gerrard because he was successfully to earn first 3 points with Al Ettifaq

Meanwhile defending champion Al Ittihad has been successfully to beat Al Saed with decent scores 3-0 that playing with some of new players such as Kante, Benzema and Fabinho Al Itihad dominate the match with gets 67% ball possessions and they got 18 total shots during the match and other favourite team Al Hilal has been overcomes their opponent too Abha FC with final scores 3-1 and as new player Malcom has made fantastic debut with made a hattrick

Unfortunately, the football career of Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior will finally come to an end in the Saudi professional league. It was predicted that he is a good competition for Ronaldo and Messi but he failed to perform up to expectations due to injuries and an unruly lifestyle. He experienced so many injuries during his playing time mostly in PSG which affected his performance and the number of goals he scored. He was also rumored to be disrespectful to both coaches and his fellow players. And he lived a wild life of partying and womanizing off the pitch. All these issues affected his performance and achievement. But he has had some good times in his football career and made the right decision to move to SPL. He will earn more money which will help him have a prosperous retirement.
Neymar Jr. was popularly known for his incredible freestyles skills on the pitch and in live games, he mostly took everything for granted. one of those rare good talents who does exceptionally brilliant in league games. Neymar has been lurking in the shadows of Leo Messi for decades in football, preventing him from winning the fundamental necessary distinctions; after all, Neymar's goal is to make himself happy on the field and make football an entertainment for his fans. Moving to an SPL club, he will bring a lot of experience to the team, he understands how to handle his opponents, and he will undoubtedly fit in with his new teammates at Al Hilal.

I believe that these rankings are outdated. After so many star players moving to the Saudi Professional League, do you still believe that SPL is globally the 68th most popular football league? I would say that they are at top-10 now, if not top-5. And this is not just limited to football. Saudi Arabia has made a lot of effort in the last few years, to become a sporting hub. They are in the process of establishing popular leagues for other sports such as cricket, golf and boxing as well. And this seems to be their long-term objective, with a plan until 2030.
I have searched online for some time for world ranking information and have not found any updated information. However, the information given by me is probably backdated and if there is any updated information, I will definitely share it here. These ranking positions and points were probably arranged before popular players transferred to the SPL. But after some time we will know the correct information and surely we will see SPL among the top 10 club leagues in the world.

Those three really made European football very interesting especially Ronaldo and Messi that's been battling for supremacy for decades the champions league was really interesting when those two were involved, i think Neymar was very interesting to watch while at Barcelona along side Messi than at PSG, he had lots of injury spells that hindered his performance while playing in the Champions League and even with a squad invoving world class stars like Messi, Neymar and Mbappe they couldn’t win the Champions League.
I think Neymar has realized that his playing days in an European team is over and he won't get lots of chances due to the recent singings by Enrique so therefore he has to seize an opportunity to move to where he'll definitely see more playing time and also earn a more an better improved salary than at PSG, he'll be earning a whooping sum of €160m over two years which is 2x of what he earns at PSG.

Unfortunately, the football career of Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior will finally come to an end in the Saudi professional league. The flow of players over that league is not because Cristiano Ronaldo made moves that league, the main reason they are moving in Is all because of the big money they will be paid.  Most big Brazilians ended their wonderful football game career at a very early stage and Neymar is yet another to join the group of Brazilians to do so. He is the third best player in the world after Messi and Ronaldo but he was always injured and was not lucky enough to be the hit man for Barcelona. He was always under the shadows of Lionel Messi.
Pleased to see he also joined in the Saudi's.

~snip~

My choice will be :

Al nassr
Al hilal
Al ittifaq
Al shabab

Those clubs have the biggest potential to win in the first week of saudi pro league.
4 favourites with the majority of European players transferred, so I agree they will probably win in the opening week of the Saudi Arabian League. Convincing again An Nasrr they have just become Arab Club Champions. The transfer of the above 4 clubs makes the Arab League has a tremendous attraction for sponsors, and spectators. But there may be a lot of worry they will be like the Chinese League which then has no competitiveness anymore at this time. But Hope it doesn't happen.

The result makes me feel unsatisfied. Won 2 lose 2. I didn't even expect al nassr to be beaten by al ettifaq since this club was playing worst at the pre season match but ettifaq able to beat al nassr with lesser score. It surprises me.
I don't know why al nassr was performing so badly like that. I thought if nassr will be doing even better than it. In fact, that if al nassr is far superior compared with ettifaq but since this is football and anything can happen.

I can't even believe it. Even though it was the first game but it's very disappointed result. Another team like al hilal and al ittifaq performing so well during the match.

Al nassr's performance is far below my expectation yesterday

This is just like a done deal since personal terms has been agreed from both parties, and it is only on a successful deal that players do go for medicals.

Nice move for Neymar Jr, staying at PSG will not be interesting for him seeing all the players he was competing with during their own time are not more playing in the Europe, and the squad structure of PSG did not look competitive enough compared to last season.
I came to this thread to ask if anyone has seen someone like Neymar Jr here. But on opening this thread, it is his pictures that flooded here. It is indeed a pity that Europe has lost once the three mightiest footballers (Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar).
Honestly, I'm not going to enjoy champions league this season. The departure of Ronaldo and Messi didn't pain me as much as this of Neymar is paining me.
Who will spice up the game, who will flare and garnish the round leather. Well, I'm diverting my attention to SPL. Football is shifting but we do not understand.

Cristiano Ronaldo will not play in this match but Al-Nassr chances remain better with Sadio Mane playing between the starting eleven. I wonder if they will win with 3 goals like Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli did previously. All these games ended with 3 goals to 1 except Al-Ittihad didn't received any goal.

Al-Nassr's victory is not inevitable because Mane cannot accomplish it alone and has only recently joined the team. He may not yet be properly integrated with the rest of his teammates. The trio of Ronaldo, Mane, and Talisca is far superior and will ensure the squad's success far more than Mane leading the team alone. Because their biggest competitors are already winning, every match is critical for them right now.

Al Nasr hired many players in this transfer window from European teams and they spent too much money on it while their main competitor, Al Hilal, didn't spend this huge amount of money compared to Al Nasr and now it seems Al Hilal wants to hire Neymar in the next season to race with Al Nasr.
However, Barcelona fans are not very sad because Neymar didn't return to the team but is going to do the medical tests and sign his contract with Al Hilal soon.

I'm glad Neymar is leaving the European League to join the Saudi Arabian League. I believe he is no longer valued and has lost his worth there. Joining the SPL will present him with fresh challenges. But, with his calibre of player, he won't have too much trouble understanding the team and playing well with them. Since the majority of European players have joined the league, it will be a more enjoyable league to watch.

Saudi Premier League Round 1 Al Ittehad vs Al Read match ends first half but neither team scores. The result of the game will be seen at the last minute according to which team will perform better in the second half. Although Al Ittihad is formed as a strong team because of a great player in this team Karim Benzema can be a great attacking player. Real Madrid star Karim Benzema can certainly score for Al Ittehad if he can attack well at the end. Most people bet on today's match with Al Ittehat backing him. I think since there was no goal in the first half but going into the second half surely Al Ittihad will attack well and score a goal to declare the team the winner.
Matchday 1 for the Saudi Arabian Professional league kicked off today with the league champion firing in full cylinders. The first half ended in a stalemate but goals from Hamdallah and Coronado sealed the game for Al Ittihad. Another interesting game of the day was the Al Ettifaq and Al Nassr match, I don't understand how the SPL operates but if it were in europe, there's no way a team that played a competitive game on saturday would play another game on monday, because there will be lesser time to recover from the previous match and prepare for the next game. Although, Al Nassr opened the score sheet in the first half with a goal from Sadio Mane but the home side fought hard for a comeback and won the game.
