So Neymar is being offered a lower amount compared to his existing deal by Al Hilal? I checked the details and looks like his salary has actually gone up. Al Hilal is offering £138 million for a two-year contract. PSG's deal was worth €222 million for 5 years. So factoring in everything, his salary has gone up in the vicinity of 2x. But when compared to the deals being offered by Saudi clubs to players such as Kylian Mbappe and Karim Benzema, this amount looks low for me. Anyway, Neymar has already finished the negotiations and will be moving to Saudi soon.

The Saudi Arabian league didn’t spend money on players irrelevant players, they targeted players which will attract people’s attention which is a very nice strategy, am beginning to enjoy  their matches, actually I don’t really know much about the league before, but since they signed Ronaldo I started following them, now they are having lots of talented players which are really worth watching on the field, and the league is now competitive since their are now quality players their. Also, their home base players will also improve in their performance since they are getting attention and people are beginning to watch their matches now, they won’t want to be performing poorly.

It will be very difficult for Haaland to get close to Ronaldo, even if he rewrites all the goalscoring records (which looks real while City dominate) because Haaland is a one-sided player - his whole career is a striker's career. Ronaldo became great playing in midfield and only then (one might say since Real Madrid) he became a great striker. In parallel with this, he evolved because of changes in physiology - at the beginning of his career he had a lot of dribbling, but then he turned his body into a bunch of muscles and focused on power dominance.
