Looking at the latest interview during the introduction of Neymar with Al-Hilal, there Neymar said "Ronaldo started all of this and everyone called him crazy". We can see a star like Neymar admitting the effect of Ronaldo is very real. I think Ronaldo opened the door to the saudi league, other players came in, and benefited. But I understand that all European players want to come here, obviously to make a lot of money, but it must be admitted that if Ronaldo had not come here first, it would be impossible for all the players to want to come. There is always a role model for every player and Ronaldo proves that.
Neymar was just saying about the truth. Saudi clubs have been getting so many european footballers after ronaldo became the first who joined in the saudi pro league. Will saudi pro league become a threat for european football competition? In fact, saudi was taking this step as a way to make sure its country will be hosting the world cup but i can't even imagine what's happening if saudi club will not be chosen as a host for 2030 world cup. Will this country is still waste a lot of money on recruiting so many great players from european competitions?
It will be so crazy to hear that but i hope this will not true. We are still far away from 2030. There are so many chances for saudi pro league to convince FIFA to pick saudi to be 2030 host for the world cup.

It seems like that saudi will always be burning money till that time will come soon. Saudi clubs will keep burning money until that time comes in the future, and I wonder how many billions they will burn.. The saudi pro league my become the competition that dominated by the clubs under PIF.
Saudi can't stop to burn its money. Oil was just giving ability to produce unlimited money for saudi.

It was actually nice to see Neymar directly admitting that it was Cristiano Ronaldo who dared to go to the Saudi League, and everyone just followed him. And obviously he did tell the truth. There is a reason why Cristiano Ronaldo is the most influential footballer ever. Right now the Saudi league has actually become very competitive. A lot of players have gone to the Saudi league.

Saudi is trying to make the place visitable for everyone. They are getting ready for the future. Of course, Saudi is rich in natural resources.  But they are also a great businessman. So they are trying to use every opportunity to make money. I know Saudi has become a tourist spot for a lot of people.

Which one team has bigger chance for winning Saudi Pro League season 2023/24 although still early because they have played with first match last week.
In the previous season, Al Nassr took charge during the mid-season stretch, although they stumbled towards the season's end. Yet, the performance of Al Nassr remained commendable.

This season, it seems that Ronaldo has acclimated quite well to the playing style in the Saudi League. Hence, the world's finest goal machine appears poised to steer Al Nassr towards championship glory this season, racking up goals aplenty.

I'm backing Al Nassr as the title-winning team in the Saudi League.
Undoubtedly, Cristiano Ronaldo has shown significant signs that he has really acclimated to the playing style of Al Nassr and judging by his recent performances, one can boldly say he's gonna have an incredible season with the club this season.
From the latest arrival of European based players in the Saudi Pro League, it'll definitely be the most competitive, contested and entertaining season in the history of the league meaning that for a club to win the championship this season, they must be up and doing through the campaign. Al Nassr on paper is the most equipped among the clubs and hopefully they'll adequately use their quality to win trophies for a the club

Neymar is absolutely right in this observation. Ronaldo introduced the Saudi Professional League to the world. Today many world stars play football in this league. However, if Saudi Professional League teams manage to qualify for UEFA competitions, the impact will be even greater. At the moment they are a bit overshadowed because they cannot play in the Champions League. They have transferred great footballers. They have invested well in football. UEFA might consider opening a quota for them. I say to myself why not? A small quota from UEFA could turn this good effect into an avalanche. I think they deserve it.

The fact that almost nobody knew a single team from this league just a year ago, and now we are aware that there are some good teams with some great players is beyond sanity. I mean we are talking about a league  changing this much all of a sudden. Do not tell me that it's Ronaldo impact, because even before Ronaldo we have NEVER heard of anyone getting 100 million offers there at all. Have you heard anyone that got a 100 million per year offer from Saudi league before Ronaldo?

I have never heard of it reported before at all. This is why we are getting a much better league nowadays and it is going to matter a lot as well. I think it is going to be important to make the distinction because going forward we are going to see this league do a lot better.

Well.. I thought about it. I never took Saudi Professional League seriously until Ronaldo joined Al Nassr. In order to make the entire league popular across the world, you need to being one of the top-5 players (Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, Mbappe.etc). And this is what the Saudis did. Ronaldo single-handedly made this league as one of the most popular across the globe. And his entry also encouraged several other players to consider their own options in Saudi Arabia. Without Ronaldo, none of this would have been possible.

IMO, I have several theories based on my point of view regarding your post, I will tell one of them according to my version. as you said, the fact is we don't even know the clubs in that competition that much. but since the 2022 world cup in Qatar, it seems the Saudis are not to be outdone by what they are doing.

Which in the end, the Saudis are planning a mega project that they will build starting in the world of sports. then, how can this league get the attention of football lovers around the world. they took advantage of the chaos that occurred between Manchester United and Ronaldo, with the scenario of bringing him to this league. they don't have much to offer, other than a very fantastic salary. because, this league is not well-known and even lost to the Turkish and Qatari leagues. plus, they are well aware that the entry point for many of Europe's top players is through Ronaldo. after that, Ronaldo was named the ambassador for the 2030 world cup for Saudi. Saudi, did not want to lose to Qatar who successfully held the world cup in their country. they will also follow the same path dearly, to host the 2030 world cup. it is very important for them to host the world cup later, not only in football, but the opportunity for them to make their country a destination.

IMO, one of the plans, Saudi will be like Dubay or Abudabi. it's just that, they introduced it through football and at the same time developed football in their country. In addition, the project initiated by PIF and the Saudi kingdom will develop all aspects of the business world. Saudi will be a more open country, that's why in order to be accepted by the wider community they started from the football industry. So it's only natural that Europe's top players who bring in this competition are lured by high salaries, because there's nothing more attractive than a high salary. maybe in the next 5-10 years, this country will be very different from what we knew before, including their football industry.

everyone is free to speak with their own point of view, indeed RONALDO is the icon of world football who carries the flow of the world's eye. it could be that if RONALDO retires there will be a change in decline in the Arab league because many people like RONALDO when playing on the field. lucky the player now bought by the arab club with a fantastic salary, just waiting for retirement to happen enjoy big results

First of all, Ronaldo is not going to retire anytime soon. His contract with Al Nassr runs for multiple years. And secondly, the reason why the Saudis brough Ronaldo to their country is not just for participation in the Saudi Professional League. The primary reason is that they want Ronaldo to lead the Saudi bid to host the 2030 World Cup. There are also rumors that Ronaldo will accept the Saudi citizenship and settle down in that country, but at this point I am just treating these claims as unsubstantiated rumors without any substance.
of course RONALDO's attractive contract at al nasr will be long, not for a moment, because RONALDO is attractive and al nasr's victory earns big money, investors, until the Arab league becomes famous in television circles. buying RONALDO looks like al nasr has gotten more money back. added that Sadio Mane is already at the Al Nasr club, the team will definitely increase sharply

It's because men have a high ego and they want to be respected, if they join Saudi Arabia which is a small and unknown league before Ronaldo joined Al Nassr, his career would be ruined and no one will know him anymore. Joining such league is shameful for them.

But with Ronaldo joined Al Nassr, it's proving he can make many fans to watch Saudi Professional League and they think it's not shameful anymore join Saudi Arabia team.

Yes, it's not surprising for me to hear statements like this, after all, there are many sponsors and club owners from Arabs, isn't it easy for Arabs to bring great players to play in the Arab league, maybe in the future we can see Arab league clubs having big tournaments like UCL and others, because many will come to play in the Arab league considering that everyone wants money to also play there.

There's nothing wrong with choosing for that, Ronaldo did have a big influence on all the famous players moving to the Arab league except for Messi who opened the way to the main league in America where there were only a few players who followed in Messi's footsteps, but we'll see how Ronaldo's influence has so many players who actually went to the Arab league.  Cheesy

Al-Hilal where in sort of a goalie and are on the verge of securing the Sevilla first choice keeper, Yassine Bono, according to the news documents would be checked concerning his departure to Al-Hilal today, and the Morrocan goalie would be joining the Saudi club for a 3 years deal.
Bono is a very good goalkeeper and his performances for Sevilla and Morocco in Europa League, La Liga and World Cup 2022 are more than enough to demonstrate his quality. He was not recognized as a star goalkeeper but his performance is very good. The World Cup 2022 helps Bono to come of of the tunnel and see a light for his career. The Europa League trophy is another successful milestone for him in a same season. Now, it's time for him to join Saudi Professional League to make his finance better.

Quote
It's is saíd that Sevilla had already agreed a deal of €21m with Al-Hilal for Bono on Tuesday and a medical is booked already, recently they've signed Neymar and now Bono they're also in a quest for a new striker and are seriously in demand of the fulham top 9 Aleksandr Mitrovic, Al-Hilal club have been very busy in the transfer window this summer and after a horrible defeat to their rivals
Al Itihad, Al Nassr and Al Hilal in theory will be three strongest competitors in a new season of Saudi Professional League. They have been investing so much money on star players in the latest two transfer windows. Their squad quality is improving with new star players and Al Hilal are ready to challenge Al Itihad and Al Nassr with players they bought recent weeks.

Saudi just become a senseless. UCL meant UEFA champion league. It's not europe asian champion league. There have been thousands of people who are against the idea from saudi pro league.
That SPL just become even crazy. SPL shall move its country to the european continent.   Cheesy Cheesy

Feeling jealous? Saudis are swimming in wads of cash and they can afford to pack their league with top players from all around the world. None of the European leagues can compete with them in terms of monetary terms. And let's not forget the fact that a large fraction of the players participating in various European leagues are also hailing from other continents. There was not much outcry when Lionel Messi decided to represent Paris Saint-Germain, or when Mohamed Salah chose Liverpool. But all the hell breaks loose when Ronaldo goes for Al Nassr.
Saudis who want to do that will have to go through many difficulties, and This European arena has been formed and developed for a long time. Ronaldo came to Al Nassr, and I believe it was for the money because he had no place in European clubs. They consider him old-fashioned, and most players who come to Arab clubs are already on the other side of the slope. The appeal of the Arab currency is powerful. But the trophies and achievements in Europe will help the players easily overcome that temptation. Money can be earned later, but lost titles will never be regained. Every player wants a high salary, but the title will be even more important to them.
When Cristiano Ronaldo left Europe and went to Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo had nothing left to achieve in Europe and the last time he did not perform well at Manchester United, no other club in Europe showed interest in him, which is why he originally moved to Saudi Arabia. After Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Sadio Mané, Roberto Firmino, Fabinho and many other stars have already joined Saudi Arabia but I don't think they came to Saudi Arabia because their European careers ended. A number of European league stars have moved to Saudi Arabia due to the promotion and huge money offers. After the stars mentioned above, Neymar has recently left for Saudi Arabia, what do you say about Neymar, is Neymar's career in Europe over? If Neymar wanted to, he could have performed well in Europe for a few more seasons, but he came to Saudi Arabia, maybe with a different plan.
european players who have successfully transferred to the Saudi Arabian team are usually old and have decreased performance so that in european teams it is probably very unlikely that anyone wants to buy old players at high prices except for teams from the SPL who value the careers of European players. like Ronaldo with a very large salary offer.
and regarding future careers such as Neymar, Ronaldo etc. it seems we will not know what their future will be but what I think is that they are old enough and its only natural that they want to get a bigger salary for their retirement, they have got big savings and if one day there is European teams trying to get players like Neymar again with only cheap offers are likely to be turned down because they need a lot of money for their old age.

Ronaldo, Benzema, Neymar etc. move to Saudi Arabia not because of coercion or just not because of money but they think about the long term after retirement to have a lot of money with their family.

Bono has been linked to the al hilal. his performance with sevilla against manchester united has been attracting so many eyes to come for him. I would not be surprised if sevilla will accept it as the club in the needs of money to pay its debt.
Sevilla was trying so hard to sell some players to raise money and then pay its debt. There was also an update from romano if sevilla already accepted 21m bid for bono. He is actually under rated goal keeper at this moment.

I dunno why there has not been a club who interesting to sign him as a new goal keeper. The club like bayern and real madrid shall pay attention to him. Real madrid already got kepa but bayern is still struggling to find another best goal keeper to be recruited.
Bono can also become an answer for bayern if the club wanna sign him. Bayern is still having enough time to hijack him from al hilal.

Bono is underrated keeper at this moment. He shall play in a better team than sevilla.

Saudi Arabian clubs previously not recognized as strong club in Asian because mostly people know the clubs from Japan League or Korean League even at champion league Asia Arabian clubs doesn't have good achievement but everything was change when Ronaldo arrived to this league that they have rapid popularity and now most people are pay their attention to this league especially after plenty of European players were following Ronaldo steps with joining Arabian clubs so in my opinion indirectly Ronaldo impact also take a part to increase the popularity of this league
Indeed besides all of it money talk everything and they know how to used their money because with the source of unlimited money they know how to lifted the popularity of this league and it had positive impact because currently mostly people know this league

I believe the "trend" will be this!
After the World Cup in Qatar in 2022, I believe it "opened the eyes" of the Arabs and they realized that football could be an interesting, lucrative sport and even entertainment for them to bring to their countries.

I have no doubts, Europe is home to the best teams in the world and that is undeniable, but I am sure that these signings that some arabian teams have made are directing attention there and around the world, and I believe... soon more signings of excellent and notable players will happen for the Saudi Arabian clubs

European football is the most competitive in the world, and they have the top players in the world playing for them. Everything about football is possible found there. Not only Europe, but the rest of the world, is more interested in European football than they are in the football of their own country. Every the young people's desire is to play for one of Europe's best teams because they believe that's where the money and fame are.

The Saudi Arabian league has just taken a turn on this narrative and wants to change everyone's belief that football cannot compete in only one continent, but that we can get more than one continent to hold the world's great players, making the football competition more competitive and also giving more players around the world a chance to showcase their talents. This is not going to end anytime soon, and football history will change, and the Asian continent will be recognised around the world in the same way that Europe is.
Yes, i agree with you!

I believe that it is the dream of many young soccer players to participate in La Liga, Champions League and other high-level championships that exist in Europe.
The best teams, the best players, structure, coaches, staffs and others importants things are in Europe.

I may be saying something that makes no sense, but if these signings of world football stars continue, if the Arabs invest even more in their countries teams, invest in marketing, structure, hire excellent coaches, I have no doubt that from now on 3, 4 or 5 years, there may be better Arab teams than Europe.

Following the completion of his recent move to Al-Hilal, 31-year-old forward Neymar has insisted a lot is owed to Al-Nassr forward Ronaldo, for his influence in the recent growth of football in Saudi Arabia.
''I believe Cristiano Ronaldo started all of this and everybody called him 'crazy', and this and that, today you see the league more and more,'' Neymar told Al-Hilal's official channels, following his transfer from Paris Saint-Germain to the Middle East earlier this week. It has been reported the former Barcelona man will earn a staggering £137 million ($174m/€160m) in Saudi Arabia.

I remember when CR7 booed by so many people regarding his decision to join in al nassr. Many people blamed him even the fans from his competitor was also judging his movement to the al nassr but he has now proven if his movement was making a huge impact to the saudi pro league.
So many people are always regularly keeping update with the saudi pro league. Even neymar has admitted that how big the impact that being made by ronaldo to influence so many european players to follow his movement. I do understand if money was the main motive but i can't even disrespect ronaldo's role in promoting saudi pro league. Everything is changing right now. There have been many european players are following ronaldo's move. His influence is very big. No doubt if ronaldo has become the most influential football player in the world.

He bring so many changes to the saudi pro league.

Glad to see how heymar has praised cristiano ronaldo as a guy who has been giving massive impact to the saudi pro league. Neymar will become a part of saudi pro league club. He got various things from agree to join in al hilal.
Supercar, Mansion, driver and many more. Neymar gets everything there compared when he was still on PSG. He gets so many stupid PSG fans booed him.
Its more competitive with Saudi Pro League teams because there are have many star player each teams from Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and Karim Benzema have make Saudi Club dominance by top Europe players.
