Saudi just become a senseless. UCL meant UEFA champion league. It's not europe asian champion league. There have been thousands of people who are against the idea from saudi pro league.
That SPL just become even crazy. SPL shall move its country to the european continent.   Cheesy Cheesy

Feeling jealous? Saudis are swimming in wads of cash and they can afford to pack their league with top players from all around the world. None of the European leagues can compete with them in terms of monetary terms. And let's not forget the fact that a large fraction of the players participating in various European leagues are also hailing from other continents. There was not much outcry when Lionel Messi decided to represent Paris Saint-Germain, or when Mohamed Salah chose Liverpool. But all the hell breaks loose when Ronaldo goes for Al Nassr.

Well, there's no way they can get into the Champions League. This is just one of the things we are dreaming of. Legally, it can't happen.
I will give another way for Saudi Arabian clubs to show their strength in the European arena. They will hold friendlies with major European clubs. This happened and is happening. They should open a new tournament to assert their strength even more. This tournament will be open to all clubs worldwide. But to do this, they must first show the strength of their team.

Never say never. Afterall, UEFA is a money minded organization and all they care about is revenue. They will just make an exemption for the Saudi clubs and get them to the UEFA champions league. It doesn't mean that they are going to include all the 16 Saudi clubs. They will just include the 4 clubs that are funded by the Saudi Arabian    Public Investment Fund (Al Nassr, Al Hilal, Al-Ittihad and Al Ahli). For UEFA, it is beneficial as it will increase the media rights revenue for champions league. But the most important question is whether the Saudis will agree to it, or not.

That's bullshit. I remind you that it's UEFA champion league. UEFA champion league dedicated for european clubs only. UEFA shall create a new competition if it's happen but this must be FIFA's job. UEFA was an organization that based in the europe.
Saudi has money but we shall always use our sense. AFC already made its own champion league. There was also FIFA club world cup for the winner of AFC champion league to face UEFA champion league winner.

Saudi just become a senseless. UCL meant UEFA champion league. It's not europe asian champion league. There have been thousands of people who are against the idea from saudi pro league.
That SPL just become even crazy. SPL shall move its country to the european continent.   Cheesy Cheesy

Since other teams in Saudi League are still trying to hire more superstar players, Al Ahli doesn't want to lose the race in this market and they are ready to hire Merih Demiral from Atalanta, this player is 25 years old and he plays in the center back. Atalanta accepted the offer from Al Ahli for 18m and Merih Demiral is going to play for three years in this team for a salary of 11m for each season which is a good amount of money for a player like Merih Demiral.
Merih Demiral is going to move to Saudi Arabia soon to do the medical tests and sign the contract with Al Hilal.

There is competition between different clubs in Saudi Arabia at this time, no club wants to be left behind. This is very necessary to improve Saudi football because if there is no competition in the club then the quality of the club will never improve. If a club in Saudi League only sign European players and make their club much stronger then other teams will lag behind that club and if other clubs don't spend money and buy players from Europe then there will be a tough fight in Saudi League. Not going, as a result of which this league will lose popularity, maybe every club is competing with every club at the moment and concluding contracts with various European stars. There was a time when we thought of UEFA as football but RSL or other major leagues have changed our perception.

The fact that almost nobody knew a single team from this league just a year ago, and now we are aware that there are some good teams with some great players is beyond sanity. I mean we are talking about a league  changing this much all of a sudden. Do not tell me that it's Ronaldo impact, because even before Ronaldo we have NEVER heard of anyone getting 100 million offers there at all. Have you heard anyone that got a 100 million per year offer from Saudi league before Ronaldo?

I have never heard of it reported before at all. This is why we are getting a much better league nowadays and it is going to matter a lot as well. I think it is going to be important to make the distinction because going forward we are going to see this league do a lot better.

Well.. I thought about it. I never took Saudi Professional League seriously until Ronaldo joined Al Nassr. In order to make the entire league popular across the world, you need to being one of the top-5 players (Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, Mbappe.etc). And this is what the Saudis did. Ronaldo single-handedly made this league as one of the most popular across the globe. And his entry also encouraged several other players to consider their own options in Saudi Arabia. Without Ronaldo, none of this would have been possible.

Saudi means no harm, they just want to compete for bigger goals this summer, making hugh difference and fighting to be predominant like European clubs. Hosting friendly games with games with European clubs, it's good proceeds to enable them qualify for good spots. Saudi Arabia clubs put in good energy this season to make their league a competitive and popular one. With the presence of new players from European clubs, they stand a chance of prominence of their league, which is not going be competitive. Al Nassr and Al Hilal are both giant of SPL, always ready to encounter any big name in Europe.

After Neymar joined Al Hilal this summer, there were many people who said he joined Al Hilal to earn more money and he is a player who cares about money more than anything, otherwise, he could join Barcelona and return his team. A few days after the news about Neymar he said he join Al Hilal because he experienced and got some achievements in Europe but he wanted to play in another place and that's why he came to Ahl Hilal and Saudi Arabia.

Glad to see how heymar has praised cristiano ronaldo as a guy who has been giving massive impact to the saudi pro league. Neymar will become a part of saudi pro league club. He got various things from agree to join in al hilal.
Supercar, Mansion, driver and many more. Neymar gets everything there compared when he was still on PSG. He gets so many stupid PSG fans booed him.

Neymar was choosing the right place for him to leave. Im very happy to see him join in the al hilal. He deserves to be treated better rather than when he was playing for PSG.
Neymar got so many things in al hilal. He can enjoy his life by playing CSGO even further. LMAO.

I knew him as CSGO fans. He has got so many achievements in european league. It sounds non sense if he didn't wanna try to deal with a new challenge. Neymar shall enjoy his life and he was not alone in saudi pro league as well. He's been going out from the toxic environment.

I believe the "trend" will be this!
After the World Cup in Qatar in 2022, I believe it "opened the eyes" of the Arabs and they realized that football could be an interesting, lucrative sport and even entertainment for them to bring to their countries.

I have no doubts, Europe is home to the best teams in the world and that is undeniable, but I am sure that these signings that some arabian teams have made are directing attention there and around the world, and I believe... soon more signings of excellent and notable players will happen for the Saudi Arabian clubs

European football is the most competitive in the world, and they have the top players in the world playing for them. Everything about football is possible found there. Not only Europe, but the rest of the world, is more interested in European football than they are in the football of their own country. Every the young people's desire is to play for one of Europe's best teams because they believe that's where the money and fame are.

The Saudi Arabian league has just taken a turn on this narrative and wants to change everyone's belief that football cannot compete in only one continent, but that we can get more than one continent to hold the world's great players, making the football competition more competitive and also giving more players around the world a chance to showcase their talents. This is not going to end anytime soon, and football history will change, and the Asian continent will be recognised around the world in the same way that Europe is.

Moreover, today it became known according to media reports that the Saudi League is thinking about sending the league winner to the Champions League. I don't know how FIFA will feel about this idea, but if it happens, it will be great, the SPL will finally reach Europe, it will be a phenomenal event
UEFA champion league was only for european club only. No way for saudi league to send its candidate to go to the european competitions as it was not placed in the europe's territory. Middle east team like saudi clubs placed in the asian.
It must participate in the asian champion league. There's no way for FIFA to accept it or all of people in europe will be protesting it.

It's unlikely to happen. My guess if it's just another sensation news being made to attract people. There was also world club champion league. There's no need to for UEFA to accept it.
As saudi clubs based on the asia territory.

Now the force is becoming more and more intense and the big boys are still going to Saudi Arabia.
The most amazing part of it I was reasoning the other day is that all the Europe super stars of 2 to 3 seasons ago are all in the Saudi Arabia.
1. Ronaldo 5 times Balon d'or winner
2. Benzema 1 time Balon d'or winner
3. Mane Balon d'or runner up
4. Neymar Balon d'or 3rd place.
Something revolutional is happening and people are not taking it serious.
You brought very good stats that show big difference in strategies between Saudi Professional League and Chinese Super League. Clubs from those leagues aim at different quality players and surely Saudi Arabian clubs have bought higher quality players than Chinese clubs years ago.

Ronaldo and Benzema are enjoying their last years in career with Saudi Arabian clubs but they are still playing very good and even better than many young players. Mane and Neymar are younger and can play longer time in Saudi Arabia if those clubs are ready to extend contract with them after one or two seasons.

Those names are proofs that clubs Saudi Professional League are very united in their transfer strategies and they only want to buy star players who can help their league to grow in communication channels, television rights, attract European citizens to watch their league matches and to help increasing quality and experience of local players. They want to have a stronger league, better players for their national team in future.

Apart from him, there is Roger Ibanez who is ready to be at Al ahli, the transfer of the Arab League transfer this time really shocked the world, it was as if they wanted to move European football to Arabic.

what is also very interesting are the rumors about david de gea to al nassr, currently de gea is in free agent status and reportedly the deadline for the deal or not is mid-september, it seems that de gea will choose al nassr over bayern, the salary offer that will be given by al Nassr is very tempting especially there is a former teammate there when he was at MU.

Well news like this will continue to appear before the transfer window closes. I don't know if he made the right decision, currently he is 25 years old and chose to play in the Saudi League even though several European clubs such as Inter Milan were interested in him. We know salary is the main reason but when he chooses to move to the Saudi League then there is a possibility that his career potential will fade, we will understand if he is 30 years old and don't expect anything in his career but now he is 25 years old and still has potential and better career, moreover Inter and Juventus are also interested in him. I hope it's not a bad decision for his career and at least it's still in the spotlight.

Another thing that makes me wonder why Atalanta released this player for 20 million even though Atalanta spent 21 million when they brought him from Juventus last season meaning that Atalanta lost 1 million in this transfer process, it just doesn't make sense in business. unless he's a bad player always makes mistakes like Maguire in the Premier League then it is reasonable to release it under market price, I'm sure there must be some reason it's just that we don't know.

It is very unlikely that they got this ball rolling without achieving any of their bigger goals. They kicked this off as a huge project for Saudi Arabian soccer and not as a marketing joke to make the world giggle for a moment. There is much more to come and the government is involved, which says it all. There is one absolute certain guarantee that they won't stop doing this until their application for the World Cup 2030 has either been considered or rejected. I don't know what they would or could do afterwards, but until then I am sure they will stick to their current transfer policy.

Their goal is to turn the people's eyes to their country so that they will become like Europe. Also, Vision 2030 is a huge project and no one would have ever thought that they could just easily get those star players with their huge money. That's right since there is no competition in the Euro League anymore when these stars are already taken to play in Saudi Arabia, other players will also consider migrating to play there as well, and not only are their salaries huge but also I think the way they are being treated there is something they cannot find in their former team.

Yes and I also believe that they might not be interested in cooperating with the UEFA in the long-term. I read that wild cards were offered to clubs from the Saudi Professional League and maybe that is true and perhaps they would participate via those wild cards at first, but their long-term vision could be much bigger than just joining the UEFA Champions League via wild cards. But if that happened I also understand the UEFA because inclusion maybe their strategy to avoid a head to head confrontation with the SPL.

Not just Europe, the SPL is now more widely followed.
They have bagged Neymar and his very huge fanbase, more audience for the SPL. They have brought in many good players, their league will become more competitive. Even teams in the league that have not invested in buying players will be forced to consider it so that they will not be left behind.

Change is constant and one day Europe will fall and become unattractive to players as attention will be shifted to other league and just as Ronaldo said, the Saudi Pro league might just benefit from that shift of attention and become a top league to play in. They can also have their champion league  kind of competition that it'll be more valuable then champions league and everyone will want to play in the tournament because it'll also guarantee fame and wealth. Anybody that thinks Europe will remain dominate forever doesn't understand how power shifts over time. Assuming Messi and Mbappe joined Saudi Arabia league with the already force moving there then we would had understood how big the league is becoming.
The officials in Europe will not easily let it happen, I believe they will also make some changes and huge investments to their league to ensure that it does not fall out of people's interest. It will not be something easy for the Saudi's to achieve because it will difficult to imagine a time in the sport when people will fully support teams from the Saudi league and not support any other team in Europe.

If you're only thinking players are leaving Europe to the Saudi Arabia pro league just for money than you are in the dark age, it's crystal clear that the league is getting more attention daily, almost all the football medias are posting the happening in the league than any other leagues in the world, and players are becoming interesting in the project, every players wants to play in the Saudi Arabia pro league as it's stand. Negotiations are on going by the end of their Transfer window, they will bring in more players than we expected.

The conditions for players and the taxation policy are better than the European policy. Every players wants to play in a league suitable for their family and Pocket.
