The first half is over and Al-Ahli is 2-0 up against Al-Hazm. Surprisingly Firmino managed to score a brace in the first 10 minutes and indeed there is no doubt about his quality when it comes to scoring goals. Riyad Mahrez has also provided one assist so far and can't wait to see him also score on his debut for Al-Ahli. Meanwhile, Al-Hazm seems to be overwhelmed by the attacks that are continuously carried out by Al-Ahli and so far Al-Ahli has also dominated ball possession with a total of 66%. It looks like victory for Al-Ahli is guaranteed with this advantage and in the second half we will be waiting for Firmino to score his first hat trick with Al-Ahli.
Al-Ahli did very well in the opening match of the Saudi League, they had no trouble getting points. Maybe the opponent is a mediocre team, because statistically Al Hazm has never won against Al Ahli so far. What's more, currently the improvement of Al-Ahli is very visible, they bought the best players from Europa.

The focus must be on mendy. It's about how this guy was feeling panic when there was an opponent near him once he was holding the ball. His wrong pass was making ahli's opponent was scoring a goal which is a very bad blunder from mendy. he was also out from his position too.
I know the reason why chelsea was offloading him. It's caused by mendy doesn't have good mentality when there was an opponent near him. Mendy needs to learn how not to feel panic.

I saw that how he was wrongly passing opponent rather than his teammate. The great thing to see firmino was making hatrick on his debut with al ahli. What a striker. Idk, why no european league wanna sign him before?

Mendy needs to solve his problem. He shall learn to strengthen his mentality and keep calm once the opponent came to press him.

I saw the replay of the match concluded that it seemed that Al-Hazm's defense was very bad so that it gave wide opportunities for Roberto Fermino to score 2 at once in the first minute it was amazing when 4 minutes later Fermino was able to score again in 10 minutes and it was very surprising in half secondly Roberto Fermino was able to score 1 more to make it 3-1 and this is really very bad for Al-Hazm.
This will be very embarrassing for the coach and also a tough task for the coach who is very bad and should have conceded 2 goals from the same player the coach should direct the players to focus on Fermino so that there will be no more chances to score the next score.
This must require an evaluation of the coaches and officials of Al-Hazm because if this continues this season may be the worst season for Al-Hazm.
True, but this is also thanks to the greatness of Firmino who can position himself to finish well. Al-Hamz's defense is not yet up to par to stop Al-Ahli's dangerous trio and therefore it is only natural that they fall short. On the other hand, Firmino actually answered what I had predicted that he would score a Hattrick because after all this felt quite easy for him with his many years of experience in Europe. I think Firmino will be on the top scorer list of the saudi league for this season and we will see his action again in the next game.

Yes and although you are right, Ronaldo hasn't turned Al-Nassr into an invincible team. I think they lost more points with him last season when he joined than they lost before he joined. They still did ok despite losing the SPL title or not winning it so to say, but Al-Nassr does definitely not win every game only because Ronaldo is now there. They have had their defeats and draws with Ronaldo and that happened more often than I would have expected.

Ronaldo alone can't do anything. And that is the reason why Portugal never won a major trophy despite having Ronaldo in the XI for so long. But this time, the chances look brighter since Al Nassr has now got a number of players to support Ronaldo. This time they have managed to get Marcelo Brozović and Talisca in the squad, which should boost the team balance for Al Nassr. Anyway, Al Nassr is doing well recently. Yesterday they won the Arab Club Champions Cup semi-final, by defeating Al Shorta (1-0, goal by Cristiano Ronaldo).

To be precise here Portugal did win the EURO 2016, but Ronaldo didn't contribute that much. He scored 3 goals and he was taken off the pitch in the 25th minute in the final after an injury. I would still say that his part for the team was an important one throughout the tournament, but I completely agree with you that he can't do anything alone. His statistics have forever been overwhelmingly strong, but he also had a bad influence on his team sometimes. In general his career was magnificent though and I don't really care too much what he is now doing in Saudi Arabia. It will be the same story like always - if Al-Nassr wins it was because of Ronaldo, if they lose it was because of Ronaldo.

I agree with you on that,  despite Christaina Ronaldo presence in the Portugal team their have failed to carry any major trophy and even at that it shows that Ronaldo alone can't bring home victory to the team but the if you have checked Ronaldo performance in the club side this season,  you will notice that all the multiple goals that came in from Christana Ronaldo in the matches were all collaborated by his team mates he just does the scoring since he is good at delivery every goal opportunities.

It is the perfect debut for Firmino, he scored the Hat-trick. Also god game for Allan Saint-Maximin and Riyad Mahrez who was able to get an assist in the game. It is a good start for this team in this competition this season that will be very competitive since many professional and experienced players from Europe has joined the league.  Edouard Mendy made a mistake in the game that led to a goal, he cannot continue like that making all the kind of mistakes he made for Chelsea until he lost his first place position to Kepa.  Edouard Mendy will be happy that they did not loose the game because of him.

Al Nassr must win this match otherwise many people will making fun of them by saying spent a lot money for wasteful players. There's no big transfer in Al Hilal, it's really shame for Al Nassr to lose. It's different if Al Nassr faced Al Ahli or Al Ittihad where both of this teams have many European players.

I'm rooting for Al Nassr, hope my decision will not be wrong.
In essence, because Al-Nassr has Ronaldo at least it makes Al-Nassr certainly will be more favored to win. But yes indeed, at least with that factor also will certainly make the Al-Nassr squad in under big pressure. Therefore, with that pressure, at least Al-Nassr also cannot fully guarantee to win in the final match later. But hopefully, with a star player like Ronaldo in the squad, then maybe it will increase the confidence of the Al-Nassr squad to be more stable and easy to control emotions to keep playing well.
It is definitely true that he is a big player, and he used to be even better but I am not sure about it now. He still scores, he still positions himself at the right place, all of those are great things and I understand that it makes sense for him to be helpful for the team.

But at the end of the day, if we are talking about a situation where it's just up to him to win any game, then it's not going to end up working out for him in the end. I doubt that it would be possible for him to be like his old self where he takes the ball and scores, he needs a lot more from his teammates, either he passes them the ball greatly and needs them to score, or he needs them to pass him at the right moment so he could score.

I will take a betting bets of Al Nassr's victory in this match and in my opinion the strength of the two teams is very balanced for now.
Odds Al Nassr quite tempting in addition to this team has become a favorite of many people.

The two teams were the most aggressively looking for European players and there were some players they had managed to bring in the transfer market moment. But for the Arabic Champions Cup final match I also have the same confidence as you and the chances of winning greater to Al Nassr, moreover the arrival of Sadio Mane will increase the attack power for Al Nassr and this will be a better team strength.
Al Hilal has brought in defenders as well as midfielders, but for strikers they still haven't got maybe before this transfer is closed.
Agree with you! I favor Al Nassr at the moment since the arrival of Ronaldo and several other players, but will not be denied by the offer of a bigger bookies to Al Nassr although a little different but this is more balanced in his game.

-snip-

It's really funny how hope is placed on just one person..... He is not the whole team, besides him there are other players who will determine whether Cristiano will score or not. He can help his team, but if the team performs badly, nothing will help them, not even Ronaldo.
You're right, it makes absolutely no sense for a title to be easy to win just because a team is depending on one player. Ronaldo is not responsible for success, but he is responsible for his own performance which in turn can help the team get the most out of a game. Al-Nassr was able to win the title not only because of Ronaldo, but it is because the team played well all season.

After all Ronaldo is part of the team and he still needs the help of other players to play well. In the 2022-2023 season Ronaldo played 16 times by scoring 14 goals and 2 assists, those are good statistics for him. Last season Al-Nassr failed to win the title, but next season they will try their best.

The key word is everything possible. The Saudi league has strengthened nicely this season, with different teams getting players from Europe, not just a few, meaning there will definitely be competition between clubs in this league. At this rate, the number of top class players will increase 5 times in a few years time

OK.. so we'll get to see Roberto Firmino in action today, after his move to Saudi Arabia. And he made the move after 8 long years in Liverpool where he represented that club in 256 matches. Hopefully he will stay at Al Ahli for a similar duration. Fellow countryman Roger Ibañez will give him company at Al Ahli, along with other overseas players such as Franck Kessié, Ryad Boudebouz, Ezgjan Alioski and Allan Saint-Maximin. Al-Hazem on the other hand do have a few Brazilians in their squad (Paulo Ricardo, Bruno Viana and Vina de Souza).

From my point of view Al-Ahli has quite ideal players, unfortunately Al-Ahli is too focused on his front line players. unfortunately, they did not add a few more players for the midfield sector. thus, this team can compete with several other big clubs such as Al Nassr, Al Ittihad and even Al Hilal. but maybe they can keep up with the big teams, because they have front-line players who can be relied on enough. Firmino, Mahrez, Allan-Saint.

Referring to the tactics and schemes favored by the coach, Matthias Jaissle prefers the 4-3-1-2 pattern. So, with the available squad of players, will coach Al-Ahli continue to apply his favorite pattern? or, he will change the system to suit the players he has. ideally Al-Ahli plays a 4-3-3 pattern, because this suits the character of the players. or, 4-2-3-1. Firmino played as a forward, Mahrez and Allan Saint as wings and Kessie played as an attacking midfielder. at least, this pattern is quite effective from my point of view. the rest, are support players. So, to find out more, let's wait for this competition to start rolling out.
In the first 10 minutes Fermino has already scored two goals, he is showing his class in the SPL. Riyad Mahrez and Ali Majrashi provided one assist each, an exciting opener for new signing Al Ahli.
Would all enjoy this season, the league is very competitive now than before, withe arrival of stars from Europ. Fermino will have Ronaldo to compete with for top scorer for the season. I'll be watching much of the matches this season.

I will take a betting bets of Al Nassr's victory in this match and in my opinion the strength of the two teams is very balanced for now.

Yep both teams have spent a lot of money, Al Nassr now has Sadio Mane who has been brought in from Munich this adds to the attack on the front line with Ronaldo. I see Al Nassr winning this final although I don't doubt Al Hilal who have almost the same ability but more European players in Al Nassr.

Both players Sadio Mane and Ronaldo are not in good form and we can't expect to see good performances from them as we saw in the last years but still, a player like Ronaldo is a great advantage for Al Nasr and I think this season he can even have better performance because he is playing there for a year and he obviously knows the team better than last season.
The fans of Al Nasr expect to see their teams racing for the Saudi league title even better than last season because of the superstar players they bought.

It was a lot of pleasure to witness Al-Nassr perform a spectacular exhibition, confirming that they are equipped to face any challenge. They secured their position in the final, and they have a 90% probability of winning since they are more determined and competitive than their opponents. Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates are held accountable for the club's the recent improvements in performance; they achieved it with a furious competitive spirit-filled and they are completely prepared to put the pressure on any club they encounter in the final.
I have long been interested in Ronaldo and Sadio Mane's performances. God damn, my garage even has a Ronaldo poster! I nearly spilled my coffee all over the place when I learned that Ronaldo had transferred to Al Nasr. I get that they haven't been at their best lately, but come on! They are Mane and Ronaldo! But this is where things get crazy: Ronaldo's second campaign? He appears to be back in his prime. How else do you explain those goals? I truly think his morning coffee must contain some magic beans

And get this, our man Ronaldo has been scoring left and right, according to the statistics I've been checking because, well, that's how committed I am in this. I heard that Al Nassr advanced to the Arab Champions Cup Final, which is the funniest development. They will crush Al Hilal, on which I would wager my left sock. Not because I'm an expert in soccer, although I most definitely am, but more because Ronaldo seems to be out to prove something

Expect Ronaldo and Sadio Mane to do great things at Al Nassor Club. Since Sadio Mane is only a few days away from joining the squad, it will take a few days for the players to settle down.

Absolutely impressive! Cristiano Ronaldo, a true headmaster, guides his team to the Arab Club Champions Cup final, for the first time in club's history, by scoring the only goal. Al Nassr is all set to face against Al Hilal in the Saturday final. Al Nassr really needs well preparation; it won't be a simple task. Al Hilal holds a stronger position, but my hope is that CR7 will do his things.
I am amazed at what Ronaldo did because he managed to bring Al Nassr to reach the Arab Champions League Final. Where Ronaldo has scored goals in a row in 4 matches in the Arab Champions League, even when Al Nassr faced Al Shorta Ronaldo became a big hero in this match because his one goal was able to bring Al Nassr to the Arab Champions League final. Ronaldo even became the temporary top scorer in the Arab Champions League, thus increasing his confidence in being able to bring Al Nassr to win a trophy in this competition.

I think Al Nassr is very favored in the final match against Al Hilal. Because the depth of the Al Nassr squad is stronger compared to their opponents. But the final match is a crucial match and Al Nassr must not underestimate the opponent they face. We will see this final match which will take place tomorrow at the King Fahd Stadium.

Tomorrow is the Final match is the Arab Champions Cup and Al Hilal will face Al Nasr while both teams spent too much money in this transfer window and both will definitely have different performances than what we saw from them in the last season when they were playing again each other. The match is going to be an interesting ones since it is the two rivals that are playing. I believe that Nassr will perform better in this match compared to last season because the club have bought new players that will play with Ronaldo, unlike when they put all their hope on only him to win the games. I believe that they have also seen it that a tree cannot make a forest.

On the other hand Al-Hilal will take this match serious and wouldn't want to give their opponent the chance to win them. I see that the match is unpredictable yet until the game starts that is why one can know which side will win.

Looking at the odds of both sides Al Hilal @2.25 - Al Nassr @2.65 a draw over @3+
