Liverpool Football Club has reached a preliminary agreement to sell their esteemed captain, Jordan Henderson, to Saudi Arabian club Al-Ettifaq. The deal, which amounts to £12 million with potential additional payments, marks a significant shift for Henderson, who has been an integral part of Liverpool's success for over a decade.
https://www.thenews.com.pk/latest/1092323-farewell-to-anfield-hendersons-departure-to-saudi-club-al-ettihadconfirmed

Finally, henderson's transfer process will almost come to its end. So many people were posting how he has been contributing a lot to the liverpool. Another great player from liverpool was joining in the saudi club after firmino has become the first liverpool player who joined in al ahli.
The next must be fabinho. I dunno his progress. I may try to check it later. We are still a long way to go till the end of summer transfer season. I expect there will be so many players to join in saudi pro league.

More superstars, more viewers will be watching this league next season. Even some unpopular club in saudi pro league was also starting to approach some european players.
This league gonna be crazy next years. I wonder how much money will able to be spend by saudi club till the end of summer.
Money is nothing for saudi club.

I was surprised with the statement made by Ronaldo, after Al Nassr suffered a heavy loss to RC Celta de Vigo. He opined that European leagues are rapidly losing quality. His team lost to a club that finished at the 13th place in La Liga last season, and that too by a margin of 0-5. It was a friendly match and therefore we should not read too much between the lines. Even then, the occasion was not right for these sort of statements. It looks like Cristiano Ronaldo still holds a grudge towards European leagues, after he was treated harshly at Manchester United.
Currently, he is not only an Al Nassr player but also a spokesperson for the Saudi Pro League, although not officially, continues to make controversial statements because of course, it will bring a lot of attention to the league in which he is currently playing so that it is seen that the Saudi Pro League is a well-known league even though its popularity is not due to attractive competition but more to media coverage.

Jordan Henderson is confirmed to be going to Al Ettifaq after Liverpool and Al Ettifaq reached an agreement, the presence of Steven Gerrard at the club who will become manager influences his decision, and Al Ettifaq becomes a club besides Ittihad FC, Al Nassr, Al Ahli and Al Hilal which are under the same ownership, namely the Public Investment Fund which is also quite intensive to buy players from the European league where these players are still very active playing and performing quite well, Riyad Mahrez to Al Ahli and seems to have closed speculation for Sadio Mane to the same club with Mahrez.

That's right, it didn't take a year for the Saudi league to succeed in bringing in these European players and of course the magnet that attracted them to join the Saudi league team was the abundant salary each season. We can see in the picture that one person is sitting waiting for his friends to join, namely Cristiano Ronaldo and unexpectedly, after 6 months, other European players have started to follow in his footsteps to be able to make a lot of money in the Saudi league.
Clubs in Saudi Professional League are richer than clubs in Chinese Super League and they have smarter strategies as well. They don't repeat what Chinese Super League clubs did by signing with average or just a little bit good like star players from Europe. They decided to sign with a super star like Cristiano Ronaldo to make noise and make their league more attractive for European star players. They picked a good time to excecute their plans after a World Cup 2022 in Qatar so that Middle East already got attention from European football fans.

The transfer of Cristiano helped the league to get more television rights in Europe and the whole league is more exciting, more attractive for people in Europe.

Quote
Well, we are still waiting for more European players to come to this league before the summer closes.

Anyway, I also found a picture on twitter which is quite interesting and it is the transfer of European players so far to saudi league clubs except for Cristiano Ronaldo who first joined last winter.

Other star players followed Ronaldo to join Saudi Professional League and they succeed to have Karim Benzema but failed to have Lionel Messi. I believe they will have more legendary players from Europe and maintain this like five more years will help to increase their league quality a lot.

Waking up and comprehending FabrizioRomano's Twitter page, I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed Riyad Mahrez join Al Ahli. As both parties exchanged documents, the transaction had been completed. Manchester City will recieved €35 million plus add-ons for the Algerian, who has signed a contract with Al Ahli until June 2027. It's a great moment to see several key frontline players leave the Etihad Stadium for Saudi clubs. This is the two favorite players that have exited the club, IIkay Gundogan and Riyad Mahrez,  I hope for the possible best from then in their new prospective clubs.

Al Nassr is banned from signing anymore European players, due to a dispute with Leicester (regarding the transfer fee for Ahmed Musa). They were planning to bring Hakim Ziyech and Domenico Berardi to Saudi Arabia.
I think the debt has been cleared and the issue has been resolved because according to Fabrizio Romano, Al Nassr has just completed the signing of Alex Telles from Manchester United for £4M plus add-ons.

Anyway, I also found a picture on twitter which is quite interesting and it is the transfer of European players so far to saudi league clubs except for Cristiano Ronaldo who first joined last winter.

It is called the Ronaldo effect. Following the signing of C.Ronaldo to the Saudi Arabian Pro league, the league is beginning to experience an influx of europe talents and it's gaining a lot of traction. This season about 14 players from europe have been signed so far in the SAPL and this figure will definitely increases before the transfer window closes.

as long as the performance in the saudi pro league will not be as bad as the result against celta vigo and i can accept it. The different thing when nassr gonna face the bad result same like when it was facing celta vigo in the friendly match. that's gonna be a very bad thing for al nassr. The club will evaluate to prevent a similar outcome in the opening match against Ettifaq coached by Gerrard. Ettifaq was also trying to buy european players as many as possible to strengthen the club right now.
Ronaldo feels so badly with the result against celta vigo. Ronaldo is still being obsessed to compete with messi even he has been playing in the different league.

It's just a friendly game and a warm up for the next season. Five goals is not a good score but the most important thing is to learn lessons from the game. Al Nassr coach should be able to analyse the game and make the needed changes. The first half was fine with a goalless scoreline but Ronaldo missed a clear chance to put the Saudi side ahead. But it's all good.

 Grin

clearly this was not just a friendly game, before this game ronaldo said he would not play in europe again because the quality of europe games had become low, so i believe rafael benitez wanted to show ronaldo the stark difference between the leagues in europe with the saudi arabia league, celta de vigo is not a stronger team in la liga and we all know that, but it seems to me that ronaldo is very proud that instead of being humble and accepting that the quality of european soccer is not decreased, on the contrary it has always been increasing and that the problem is not in the quality of European soccer

but yes, the problem is with him due to his advanced age and his high salary that he doesn't want to give up he was forced to have to go and play in a very low quality league, the native players of saudi arabia don't even know how to make good shots, so it was visible how Celta de Vigo won very easily, today we will have Al Nassr's game against benfica, if benfica plays with at least 50% of their main players I believe they can score 7 goals in that game, it would be a very easy victory from benfica, the only team that I see Al Nassr winning in this calendar of friendlies would be PSG who always have problems in defense and are without messi

Another offer from the Saudi team and this time they want to hire Malcom, he is currently playing for Zenit but Malcom was playing in Barcelona before.
Al Hilal wants to hire this Brazilian forward for the next season.
However, Malcom's contract ends in 2027 and Al Hilal needs to buy this player from Zenit.

Well, hopefully the problems experienced by Al-Nassr can indeed be resolved quickly. Because supposedly with Al-Nassr's current financial condition, of course, the arrears of unpaid debts will be quite easy to settle. If this is not resolved quickly, the FIFA sanctions will become more difficult to withdraw. But after seeing that Al-Nassr is still active in the hunt for new players, I think Al-Nassr is quite confident that he can solve this problem with FIFA.
It is rather strange to see Al Nassr not paying their debts which occurred in the 2018 season when Al Nassr bought Leicester City players. I think Al Nassr will easily pay off their Debt if they do. So I don't know what made them not pay this debt. I see Al nassr as a team that I probably knew earlier than any other team because it was Al nassr who made a splash in the saudi arabia league after they signed Ronaldo.

I think Al Nassr will pay off their debt before the deadline comes. On the other hand Al Nassr is one of the teams that is quite influential for the progress of the Saudi Arabian League so that their behavior could tarnish the name of their league if they do not pay their debts. So recently, it seems that Al-Ahli has succeeded in getting Mahrez in this transfer window.

Pre season never tells the full stories as there's nothing at stake when teams lose, you might see a team playing badly at preseason but as the league starts officially, they become unstoppable. It could be they learnt from the pre season or the players weren't just turning up during the preseason games. Nobody wants to get injured during preseason and miss the chances of playing when the seasons starts although that's not am excuse for poor person because when a team is playing badly in preseasons, it can mess with the players psychology and they begin to doubt how the team is going to perform during the season.

I wasn't happy with the scoreline of the Al Nassr friendly match they played, the coach needs to work on the team spirit and them been able to play without Ronaldo in the team. They should realized that the guy is old and can't be bailing them out of all situations like this when they get disgracd. The team needs to seat up and Ronaldo needs to put his head in the game because missing clear chances isn't something he's known for and he shouldn't start destroying his legacy or just retire already as there's nothing else to prove.
The game between Al Nassr and Celta Vigo ended with Celta convincingly winning by 5 goals to nil which is a good result for the Spanish club.
However it was just a friendly game which is not known to be a match where players give their all and again the other set of people who's calling out Cristiano Ronaldo for not being able to help his team win should know that Ronaldo is above 38 years already and shouldn't be expected to deliver great performances like he's used to

I read the news and became shocked. What is the implication of this on Al Nassr as well as other Saudi clubs in their rush to move all the European players to their league. They have been money but I wonder why this is an issue for them. And is this banned really because of the debt they owe Leicester or just some sort of Witch-hunting. I do know if this type of issue has happened in the past and what FIFA's reaction was. If there is anyone who has information of this please let me know.

Al Nassr is banned by FIFA from signing new players until they pay Leicester City a £390,000 debt. This should not be a problem for a financially sound club. They should be able to pay the debt without much stress. Saudi league clubs should also be careful because UEFA is not happy with the way players are moving to the Arabian nation. They can be given a strict punishment if any abnormality is dictated from their financial transactions.

The match between nassr vs celta vigo already ended last night. Ronaldo club being humiliated by celta vigo. Celta vigo was destroying al nassr with 5-0 as the final score.

Well still wierd that they didnt pay debt they owe to Leicester, for them its nothing and this should be resolved fast. Also the defeat against Celta came in the second half after all of their first squad players left the field plus once they left they got a red card that caused such a big result. But still this shows that this Saudi teams dont have a roster and just got humiliated against a middle spanish team
SPL has enough money to pay for the transfer of any player that they want instead of owing Leicester City. This will enable them buy more players of their choice to make their league very strong. Some players don't care anymore to play in the European league because they have been attracted to the salary that the Saudis pay.

I still know that there are some players that no matter the fat pay being offered by the Saudis, they wouldn't go there to play because they want to win trophies and also to participate in European leagues. In no time SPL will be very interesting because the new players that are moving over to Saudi, and it will be very competitive.

This doesn't seem to be an SPL issue, but Al Nassr specifically. What I don't get is why do they let this situation escalate such that even the FIFA needs to come out with a ruling when at the same time they are paying hundreds of millions of dollars in salary? It doesn't even matter now whether they have the money for more transfers, for now they are officially banned by the FIFA to sign any players until the debt with Leicester is settled. That is what this article says.

Apparently Arabian clubs hasn't stopped to hijack Liverpool players because after gets Fabinho and Jordan Henderson now there was other club who interested to Liverpool player Luis Diaz and it say Al Hilal who really serious want him and they will attempts to get him this summer and reported first proporsal is being formed that Al Hilal will bid not less than 50 millions and Liverpool hasn't respond it yet this rumour but most likely they will reject this offer because Liverpool still needed Diaz service especially after losing Fabinho and Henderson that they don't want to losing more players besides that Diaz too is important player for Liverpool and if he hasn't get injured Klopp was always playing him regularly

IMO, Liverpool do need an overhaul in their squad, they need fresher players. So, if there are several Liverpool players offered by the Saudi club. they can let him go, other than that Klopp will get additional budget funds to bring in the new arrival he wants. for Jordan Henderson, it deserves to be released and replaced by a younger player.
Fabinho, this player is also very inconsistent. however, it looks like Klopp could still keep him if he is included in his project next season.

To be honest, I don't know much information regarding rumors of Liverpool players.
for Luis Diaz, too bad he had to join a Saudi club. The problem is, he is still relatively young at 26 years old. Klopp can still very much count on him in his squad, so it would be a shame if he finally accepted an offer from a Saudi club. although Liverpool need new additional ammunition, I don't hear many rumors that Klopp is hunting for front line players. So, as you said Liverpool will not let Diaz go.

The Clubs in this league are quite deserving of applause, they have succeeded in hijack Europa top players. But in my opinion, will bid not less than 50 million is still too small to be able to bring in Luis Diaz because currently according from transfermark, he current market value aslo in 75 million. If Al Hilal is serious about signing Diaz, it should be will bid not less than 80 million Cheesy. Luis Diaz is a great player and yes he is an important player for Liverpool, although Liverpool are have Cody Gakpo and also Diogo Jota, but to deepen the strength of their squad surely Liverpool will not let him go.

As for FIFA's punishment, I just found out. It turns out that this is a matter of buying Ahmed Musa who played for Leicester City from 2016 to 2018. Then moved to Al Nassr and helped Al Nassr become the 2018/19 Saudi Arabian League champions. This shouldn't be a problem regarding money, because An Nassr has a lot of money at the moment. Maybe they forget, but this is really bad for the club's image in Europe. In addition to this heavy loss, it seems that they are prohibited from carrying out transfer activities for 3 periods.
Whatever the dispute is, I am sure that they are going to end up getting that done for sure and they are going to be quite rich when they do that. I mean the yare rich and could buy out any problem in the end and should be doing that now as well. The problem with Leicester feels like a money issue, some bonus issue and I bet that they will be capable of doing whatever they want.

The European player ban is also a silly one because no team should be banned from buying a player from all of the continent, that's just way too big and that should not be possible, if you want then maybe do not get any from England, that could make sense I understand that but making it all of Europe makes no sense. In the end we will see them handle it for sure.

Club in the Saudi Arabian League is competing to bring in several European players and now as a Saudi Arabian league shows the world that they are able to do whatever they want and especially in football. Luiz Diaz is still an important player in the Juergen Klopp squad and I think he will be maintained, losing Fabinho and Jordan is definitely Liverpool must secure Luiz Diaz, especially in the Liverpool transfer market not so fast in pursuing new players today.

But if in the end Luiz Diaz will also be released, the power of Liverpool next season will be quite chaotic and problematic and Jurgen Klopp must really consider it. Not playing in the Champions League Liverpool must show good performance next season because they have to pursue finishing in three or four big standings, losing some important players will have a big impact on Liverpool.
