Another star european player join to Saudi Pro League team and here we go for Marcelo Brozović, finally Al - Nassr reached agreement deal for signing Marcelo Brozović from Inter Milan with €23m. Marcelo Brozović get three years contract until 2026 and received €100m  per season, Al Nassr success win fighting with Barcelona interested for signing Marcelo Brozović but more higher salary receiving made Marcelo Brozović more priority for playing with Al Nassr. Looks Saudi Pro League teams not stopping yet for signing star player in Europe and they are have many target list for bringing there. Who next signing after Marcelo Brozović?

I can only imagine how many tv station will show this league games next season,  Europe league is becoming empty, players are now considering the Saudi Arabia league than some clubs in Europe. by the end of the transfers season would know how many will join the Saudi Arabia league. its true money can solve any problem. see how money has transformed the Saudi Arabia league to top league. Ronaldo contributed for this growth too, many are coming because he is there and the world is giving so much attention to the league.

Marcelo Brozovic has made the right choice to join the Saudi Arabia pro league, he will be playing with Ronaldo after turning down Barcelona bid to Al nassr.

is it possible for him to return to the European leagues after two years playing there? that it would be the league he retired from.
https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1674537618061631488

It's possible, and why not? Only if he will get an offer from a good club. He may return again to the european league. He was not playing in arabian league forever. He will be able to leave saudi pro league once his contract gonna end.
I think that it's good for firmino to play there. He will be also getting so many new team mates. Mendy as another player that came from chelsea and he was coming from liverpool.
He was not alone in al ahli. I expect he will play until his contract will expire with al ahli.

There are two bad news come for saudi pro league. All of this news is coming from al hilal. Lukaku has been officially rejecting 45 millions pounds offer from al hilal while at the same time jose mourinho was rejecting al hilal too.
These are very bad for al hilal. Al hilal faces so many difficulties in recruiting the new players after messi has been rejecting the club's offer. Lukaku was doing a stupid thing by rejecting it.

The same offer will not come again for twice. He may also be a useless player in intermilan next season. His performance was always up and down.
Chelsea shall sell him asap to the intermilan.

There is also another option if chelsea may keep him for next season. Rejecting al hilal's offer was very bad. Al Hilal needs to put more efforts in targeting new player from european league.

This is not bad news because there are still many players and coaches that can still choose Al Hilal. Lukaku has the right to make decisions concerning his career and he has chosen not to move to the Saudi Pro League. I don't see that as a foolish decision, I have more respect for him now. It clearly shows that the Belgian is not moved by money. Many players cherish their stay in big leagues more than moving to a developing league because of money. Returning to Chelsea will depend on the new coach if the striker is part of his plans next season. Lukaku has not improved recently but playing under a coach like Mauricio Pochettino might give him a new start. But from all observations, Lukaku might quickly arrange another loan deal back to Inter when the loan expires.

Oh yeah I just found the news after seeing your post, medical issues are likely to hinder Hakim Ziyech transfer and it turns out that he also experienced the same problem when he was going on loan to PSG, now Al Nassr's position is more advantageous as they can offer additional options such as a reduction in salary if Hakim Ziyech is unable to play or he stays with Chelsea and waits until the next transfer window opens. By the way your screenshot doesn't mean anything because we don't understand what it means, it would be better if you include the source  Cheesy

Hakim Ziyech is now in a terrible situation. Failing a medical test will lead to less interest from prospective clubs which will make him lose worth. The medical condition was not disclosed but it will not be a problem if it was related to physical fitness because it could be worked on. But if it relates to health conditions, then he might require medical attention. If he fails to get another club before the beginning of next season, he would have to endure another challenging season with Chelsea where he didn't score any goal last season. The striker is not happy in Chelsea and needs to go somewhere else to resurrect his career.

It seems Hakim Ziyech is not going to join Al Nasr for the next season because he couldn't pass the tests and or a player like Hakim Ziyech who was playing in a top team like Chelsea I was not expecting to see him fail in these tests and it seems the deal is canceled because of the medical tests he failed.

I don't think it's bad news for Saudi Professional League this kind of thing happens in all leagues for sure not all players will choose money over career, maybe Lukaku still wants to keep competing in the European league nothing wrong with that right? After all, Lukaku and Mourinho are not the only ones who refuse to play in the Saudi league previously Messi and Modric also did the same thing most recently Jamie Vardy also refused. Refuse does not mean bad sometimes they disagree with the rules in the country so ignore any offers.

It is reported that Roberto Firmino has agreed to go to a club in the Saudi pro league Al Ahli and will join Eduardo Mendy at the club, it was quite surprising that he went to the club because when it was reported that he would no longer extend his contract at Liverpool he would go to Laliga, even one of the big clubs was reportedly interested in signing him, but there seemed to be no agreement so he chose to join this league.
Roberto Firmino was still pretty good when he was at Liverpool, only injuries made him often no longer play as a starter.
His contract at Al Ahli will be valid until 2026, but is it possible for him to return to the European leagues after two years playing there? that it would be the league he retired from.
https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1674537618061631488
Finally these rumors have come true and for Roberto Firmino must be very happy because he got such a big salary after leaving Liverpool at the end of the season. Joining Al-Ahli which is the Saudi league promotion team next season will certainly be a challenge for him and we will definitely be amazed by his quality.

Firmino will be on a team with former Chelsea goalkeeper Eduard Mendy who has already reached an agreement with Al-Ahli and who would have thought that the former EPL player is now a teammate in the Saudi league. Surely it will be a long journey until 2026 and at least the Saudi league will be even more interesting with the arrival of football stars from Europe. To return to Europe I think it is impossible and it is likely that he will return to his boyhood Brazilian club to retire there.

Rumors that Firmino was in talks with Saudi clubs were confirmed and this information was indeed confirmed.
The contract is for 3 years with Al Ahli. We can congratulate Firmino on a good pension. The player is of high quality, he could play in European clubs for a couple more years at the highest level, but apparently because of the last season in Liverpool offers were few.
Firmino is 31 years old and given his character he should maintain the sports discipline, which means 2-4 years of good game. Firmino can score and create chances and pass to the goal at the last moment, he is not "greedy", Salah helped a lot of goals.

In general, the Saudi league is strengthening a lot and next season it will be interesting to see how all the star players will play.

For now they attract the attention but if they want people to stick around they will need to bring in new players continuously or otherwise the positive effect will decrease. but the question is whether this PR campaign is done because of their World Cup application 2030 or whether their plan is to really build the best league in the world with the money they have and pull away the public audiences from other continents in the world. But that would need tremendous resources over a long period of time and for now it is not clear if all their activities serve a plan that goes beyond the World Cup.

The people who run it all obviously don't count the money, so they don't spare huge sums of money, I don't think it's a problem for them. As for the World Cup bid in 2030 I think it is unrelated, look at Qatar, did they do that? No, but the tournament turned out amazing. They used a different strategy, doing everything for tourists, didn't develop their league, it resulted in them spending several times more money to develop the whole thing, but made very little money from it. Let's see where Saudi Arabia's strategy leads. At this point there is essentially nothing to compare it with

It is not about making money out of hosting a tournament. It is about gaining influence in the social and political world, and through that also gain influence in the economic world. They don't care whether their hotels are booked. They care about their reputation. You can't compare Qatar with Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is 200 times as big as Qatar and from that point of view it does at least make sense to have some infrastructure investment as not everything will have to be removed because it isn't needed. In Qatar almost nothing of what they have built was needed afterwards. Saudi Arabia probably has serious long term plans to build a league and to further domesticate the sport in their country. Qatar was a one time event. I don't know whether the tournament in Qatar actually was amazing. What I know is that people felt less comfortable moving freely in public because even if it seemed as if they weren't threatened, there is still this awkward feeling as a guest that you could do something wrong you don't even know about and end up in jail. I am not talking about the obvious things like taking drugs, that is the same in the USA or Mexico or Canada. But in general, it is different.

Whatever the plan is but I think the SPL plans long term and will keep tuning up their league with players from Europe.

Maybe he didn't get the latest news, the latest news is that Marcelo Brozovic agrees with a salary offer of 25 million per season and now to the medical test stage
Barcelona is indeed interested in bringing Marcelo Brozovic but Barcelona is limited by financial problem so they don't continue the offer.
Anyway, next month Brozovic is officially introduced in front of Al Naasr supporters there should be no more obstacles.

I don't know what is going on with Marcelo Brozovic. A few hours ago, it was reported that he will be moving to Barcelona as Al Nassr was not ready to pay the amount that he was demanding. The Saudi club was willing to pay €20 million per year, while the player was demanding €30 million. But now, there are reports that a deal has been finally reached between the two sides. But I still have doubts regarding the final deal. Some are reporting that he will receive around €25 million per year. But according to Fabrizio Romano, the deal is worth €100 million for 3 years until June 2026 (which works out to €33.3 million per year). Anyway, I would say that Brozovic chose the best option that was available to him. Congratulations!!!

Officially his salary is 25 Million per season and the contract will run for 3 seasons in these 3 seasons he will be paid 75 million + bonus of 25 million
If calculated, he will earn 33.3 million per season it's just that we don't know whether the bonus is given for free or there are other requirements so bonuses are not included in the payroll per season or will only be paid if he plays full 3 seasons.

Barcelona won't be able to convince star players because they are less competitive in salary offer and we have to think that Barcelona did not play well in Champions League and Europa League last season. With old players like Brozovic, they will choose to move to clubs which can help they to win big titles or can give them very good salary.

Well that's the main point, this season Barcelona will watch more in the transfer window they cannot move especially if their competitor are the Saudi League
Is there anyone who heard which team tried to bring De Gea from Manchester United? reportedly De Gea rejected his latest contract offer so one of the clubs from the Saudi League is interested in bringing it but I don't know which club is meant, I hope it is Al Nassr  Smiley
I too am waiting for De Gea's news at Manchester United. Until a few days ago there was no contract extension agreement between De Gea and Man United. De Gea still objects to Man United's excessive salary cut if the contract is re-signed.

And De Gea's contract at Man United actually ends today, June 30. So that starting tomorrow De Gea is on a free transfer.

I also heard about the news that one of the Arab clubs was interested in De Gea. But I heard that the club that is interested in signing De Gea is Al-Hilal. And that news is actually quite old news, namely in the middle of this season. And until now there has been no further news.

Brozovic just made a good decision for rest of his career. Joining Saudi Professional League, becoming a team mate of Cristiano Ronaldo and enjoying very good salary without income tax in Saudi Arabia. It is a dream for him.

This salary is about x3 of his salary in Inter Milan in 2022 - 2023 season according to https://m.aiscore.com/salary/player-marcelo-brozovic-edq09ip5l5fmqxg

Where did you see that? It's confirmed by romano if brozovic has said yes for nassr's proposal. https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1674501730128523289

Barcelona has not been even approaching him caused by barcelona knew if its club gonna lose in competition to get him. Brozovic never said he was not interesting with saudi club but he was only saying if saudi's offer is not enough for him.

It's likely saudi paid what brozovic wants. That's why he has been agreed to join i the al nassr.

Here we go. Two superstars will come to the intermilan. that's firmino and brozovic.

Al Nassr has been targeting Brozovic from Intermilan, but Brozovic has not yet agreed to join Nassr due to salary issues, so Nassr is now getting a new target while waiting for an answer from brozovic and intermilan. It's RB lens's captain seko fofana who has been targeted by al nassr to be bought by the club this season.

I don't know whether he should bargain too hard. The offer from Al Nassr to Marcelo Brozović was really good and would have seen a 2x increase in his salary. As per reports, Brozovic is close to a deal with FC Barcelona. Al Nassr was willing to offer €20 million, but the Croatian superstar wanted a minimum of €30 million. A delegation from Saudi Pro League met with the player at his hometown (Zagreb), but the negotiations reportedly came to a roadblock over salary. Anyway, it looks like Brozovic is not that interested in moving to Saudi Arabia. I just hope that everything will turn out well for him at Barcelona.

I agree with you that every professional football player pursues two things: fame and money. Those who are willing to pay more for their skills are where they will anchor themselves. In this regard, the Saudi Arabian League is not yet as competitive as the top European leagues such as the English Premier League (EPL), La Liga, and Serie A. However, it is important to remember that the leagues I mentioned were not built in a few years to reach their current state. This is what we are witnessing now, where teams in the Saudi Arabian League, with full support from their government, are investing in football for the long term. By recruiting star players with experience like Ronaldo, Ziyech, Benzema, and Kante, they are demonstrating their commitment to building and investing in this sport.
Back to the main target by saudi to rebuild its league to support it to host 2030 world cup. That means if you can't expect the competition in saudi league gonna be as good as european competition. It's all need progress to make it happen. This country has so much money from selling oil.
Nothing impossible as long as you have money for it. Saudi is still having a few years remaining before 2030 world cup. This league gonna be even crazier soon.

It is not impossible for the Saudi Arabian League, with its financial influence, to attract young and emerging star players. That could very well happen. In the future, they could also bring in the best coaches who can improve their teams. With these developments, I believe that this league can rise to a higher level and become a competitor to other top leagues.
Everything gonna change with the goes of time. Nothing impossible as long as you have money in your pocket. European players are still skeptical with saudi pro league but they will change their mind soon.
Saudi's project has just started last year when ronaldo moves to the al nassr.
