At this moment joining and playing in the Saudi Professional League is not something bad, so there is nothing wrong for those who play in the Saudi Professional League next season. After all, not only Al-Nassr has star players from Europe, because Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal are doing the same thing too, because they also recruit famous players from big European clubs. Therefore, the competition in the Saudi Professional League next season will certainly be very interesting, because star players will compete for the title and also, some of them will become teammates.
It's not bad that the salary there is also promising for a player plus the many star players who arrive so much not only for one club but several clubs also bring in other players.
Today's hot news Franck Kessié will soon be offered by the Saudi Arab team but don't know which team will make the offer. It looks like this will be even more interesting if many European players move to the Saudi Professional League, I can't imagine how the SPL league season will be at first it was amazing.

Just a bit of Franck Kessie's news: https://twitter.com/DeadlineDayLive/status/1673725572273389584
Franck Kessié is a useless player at Barcelona and when he was transfered from AC Milan to Barcelona with free transfer Xavi was hopes he can performing well just like when he playing at Milan but during last season his performance was make Xavi dissapoint and after Gundogan arrived i am sure Kessie will spend his time on the bench because more likely Xavi will trust Gundogan than him although Kessie said he want to staying at Barcelona but the fact is Barcelona want this player to leave so this is good chances for Barcelona to sell him and Kessie too although his main priority is want to staying at Barcelona but he would open his mind to listen the offers from Arabian team and if he feel it reasonable for him then probably Kessie will considering that offers and recently Arabian team who want him was mentioned and that team is  Al Ahli

It seems that the recruitment of up to 100 European football players will not materialize in the next few years unless all the teams in the Saudi league also do the same as what Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal, and Al-Ahli have done because we I know very well that only the four teams above are able to provide that much salary.

Don't underestimate the other teams. The popularity of Saudi Professional League has increased by leaps and bounds during the last few months. For the next cycle, we can expect a large increase in TV rights sales and sponsorship deals. And a part of this money will trickle down to the clubs. Not just the top-4 (which are 75% owned by the Public Investment Fund), but also the other clubs will be having a lot of disposable money in their hand. And also, some of these clubs are already under the ownership of very rich people.
I'm not underestimating the saudi league team, it's just that it's quite difficult to achieve in a few years, wasn't it clear from my previous statement?

Maybe it is true that there will be income in terms of selling TV rights and sponsorship deals, but still other star players will of course still choose the four teams from the Saudi league because of course the quality and standings competition in each season always involve several of these teams, so it will be easier too for European players if anyone targets to win the SPL title. On the other hand, so far European players are sure to prefer a team with other European players in one place rather than having to join a team with no European players.

It seems the Saudi teams are still trying to hire more superstar players and coaches for their teams, and again Al Hilal is seeking to sign a contract with Paulo Fonseca for next season but they need to have some negotiations with PSG. That's why Fahad bin Nafil will visit France and try to hire Paulo Fonseca.

Till the next season of Saudi Arabia Pro League starts the players hunt will continue. This have led to the statement that the league is buying success with money that doesn't sustain in the long run. The team wants top 100 soccer players into the league within the next few seasons of Saudi Arabia Pro League to make it one among the leading leagues played around the world.

Maybe the dream of bringing in these star players should be appreciated to advance the Saudi league or for other investments, but for now, even in the next 5 years it's quite impossible. Regardless of all that, with the arrival of other European players or coaches who will join the Saudi league team, the attention of the whole world is now on Arabs and can't wait to see if they can be consistent or not later.
It will be a good development if only other nations continue accepting their proposals and contracts. But building a league to the high of best among the best requires more than importation from other leagues. Europe's football stands the best to date not only by importing from other leagues across the globe but also by recruiting the young ones and establishing new football academics that are wwell-equippedand conducive for sport. I think if the Saudi Arabia government can adopt this idea, it will promote their football both at the club and National level.

It is impossible to bring in 100 of Europe's top players in the transfer market this season and next season. What's more, as you said, those who are most hunting for European players are only the 4 teams that are under the auspices of PIF. which PIF certainly has very large finances that can support the 4 clubs to spend quite a lot. But in the current transfer market, there are actually quite a lot of players joining SPL clubs. but there are too many of them. but still, the presence of Benzema at Al-Ittihad and CR7 at Al-Nassr has become an extraordinary attraction for us not to want to miss the Arab league. I really want to see how Al-Nassr will deal with Al-ittihad. The meeting of the two players who used to be partners at Real Madrid will certainly make an interesting impression on the match.

But it is possible that these transfer activities stimulate more business potential domestically but also internationally. Sure the salaries are too high to pay off in sales of merchandise or stadium tickets, but they follow a vision, an agenda and although I can't fully understand what their goal is also in terms of finances and business, I believe they are not doing it to only burn money. They might be doing all of this to kick off a positive dynamic for their league although they are currently spoiling players with those unreal salary expectations. Players will soon say "no" to 40 million per year because it sounds like not enough.

Supported by many good players will certainly make the club better when it also has an experienced manager with also good achievements not just famous so that it can achieve what has been targeted by the club owner.

With quite aggressively bringing in foreign players and now managers, I'm quite curious about the steps taken by the Saudi Pro League clubs, with them getting several foreign players is there no rule on how many foreign players are allowed in each club?
I didn't count how many foreign players in a club like Al Nassr has brought in, but of course, every league has rules on how many foreign players are allowed, because that's done to maintain the chances for local players to still have value and the opportunity to play in their own country's league because with local players still having a large portion in their league they will also affect their national team of course.

Al Nassr became the leading club to bring in top European players. Currently, only Al Nassr seems ready to welcome next season with a squad depth that has. maybe, just waiting for one other player who is not sure who will join, namely Marcelo Brozovic. reportedly, Brozovic will not accept the current proposal from Al Nassr. conditionally, the salary offer must be increased to make it happen. perhaps because of that Al Nassr turned his attention to Seko Fofana from RC Lens, who has confirmed that there are ongoing talks, as quoted by Fabrizo Romano. after all, these two players have the same position.

It shouldn't be surprisingly that Al Nassr is going for top European players because the European players they're going after will be comfortable playing at Al Nassr because Ronaldo is present at the club which means they'll be having media exposure and winning mentality also having the privilege to play with one of the best player to ever play the game of football. Also it seems Ronaldo has demanded the club to sign more players so they have a better chance to compete for the title next season. Al Nassr needs to have enough squad depth so they don't surfer same disappoinment they had last season.

One reason Al Nassr couldn't retain their lead at the table last season was because of lack of quality squad depth. Al Nassr was finding it difficult to win games when Ronaldo couldn't show up either because he isn't playing or not having a good game. Al Nassr needs players because Ronaldo is now old and they can't be depending on only him. Last season they didn't have the quality of players that can be providing Ronaldo crosses so he can score his headers but now they have signed Hakim Ziyech that his expertise is crosses. Next season is definitely going to be very interested for the Saudi Arabia Pro league. They'll be getting lots of viewers because the games will now be very interesting and not only people coming to watch Ronaldo.

I don't agree with this argument. Why should their selection to national teams should be at risk, if they move to clubs within the Saudi Professional League? It is still understandable if the players are from England, Spain and France whose national leagues may get impacted as a result of player inflow to the Arab leagues. But why teams like Croatia bother about this? Anyway, football is just like any other career option. Players will move from one club to another when the latter offers them better compensation and working conditions. There is not much others can do about it.
The whole thing is simple, the best players will still get a call-up from their perspective country, as long as you're talented and has good footings on the ball. There is nothing wrong with players pursuing massive bids that will secure their move to Saudi clubs that pay significantly more than some Premier League, La Liga, and Seria A clubs. The young players moving to Saudi clubs have nothing to do with their national team, because if you're exceptionally talented with the ball, you'd be confident of making the first XI roster. That's because the coach only selects individuals who are in shape and willing to do everything it takes to reach the top, and that's exactly what they'll do.

They must convince young players that if they move to Saudi Professional League, they will receive very good salary but will not lose their chances in national teams. It won't be achieved by Saudi Professional League after one or two seasons but maybe 10 years.

At the same time several teams from the Saudi Arabian league are trying to approach many European star players with a younger target age. it's not a big reason for them to experience a setback after Messi and Modric rejected their offer but they are trying to find alternative players who are no less good in the hunt in this transfer window.
They need super star players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi to make noise and change their league. They succeeded with Cristiano Ronaldo but failed with Messi and I guess that Messi have reasons beyond football when he rejected offers from Saudi Arabia and moved to MLS. I guess he wanted his children to be well educated in the USA., get better environment to learn and practice English which is a global language nowadays.

Quote
Brozovic and Firmino are the targets of the signings made by the Saudi Arabian team where these two players will most likely agree to an offer from the Saudi Arabian team soon.

Al Ahli has even reportedly reached an oral agreement with Firmino so we will be waiting for an official announcement in the coming weeks. The might of the Saudi Arabian team in competing in the transfer window is a stronger financial force compared to European teams. I think that be it Firmino or Brozovic there are also other names of players who have entered their target this season.
Those players are younger than Messi and Ronaldo but in fact they are no longer young players. However Saudi Arabian clubs must do execute their strategies for their clubs and the league gradually. If they actually have good strategy, after those players in next few years, we will see younger players like under 30s to join Saudi Professional League.

They must convince young players that if they move to Saudi Professional League, they will receive very good salary but will not lose their chances in national teams. It won't be achieved by Saudi Professional League after one or two seasons but maybe 10 years.

Saudi Arabia teams are trying their best to make their league known and popular at a point you see many people talking about it and here we have a post about it which is interesting in my opinion.
After Modric and Messi refusal to join them, among other players, Saudis don't seem to refrain from searching top players and coaches to sign them.
Popularity of this league increased and is increasing every time.

How is it possible to bring in 100 players while the club that is active in bringing in star players is only 3-4 clubs and almost all of these clubs are owned by the same company, I think it's just an unbelievable rumor. If we talk for the next few seasons, I still doubt because we have not seen the impact of the arrival of these new players except related to popularity I mean if it does not bring financial benefits then it will not last long, we have seen phenomena like this before in other countries.

Seems to me, Al Nassr is all in, ready to pander to big guns like Brozovic. Their history shouts loud and clear - they arent skittish about spending big bucks for Euro talents. This doesnt surprise us football fanatics, given Saudi Pro League teams often outspend European clubs to nab stars.

Yet, is Al Nassr star-struck at the expense of homegrown players? Could they be building an impenetrable barrier for locals competing against Euro behemoths? Sure, its a money-spinner. But arent we sidelining the growth of our own talent?

Al Nassr is the frontrunner to get Brozovic because that is clear from the sizeable salary offered to Brozovic. I think it will be difficult for him to turn down this offer especially since he will be able to play with Ronaldo next season. Only Al Nassr and Barcelona where these two teams are very serious about getting Brozovic.

So far I don't think local players will be sidelined after Al Nassr overhauled the squad by bringing in players from Europe. I think the local players will also get minutes and this situation they must have thought about before. I think to build a stronger team, of course there must be a stronger strategy and that is what Al Nassr did.

To be honest, I don't know if Al Nassr will go after some more players, or if that's enough. but for sure, the team will be tougher and more competitive in the next season. as far as I know, the quota for foreign players in the Saudi League is 8 people, correct me if I'm wrong.

Well, related to what you ask, your question is really very interesting. what about the talents possessed by the players from their own country. and this, is going to be a very complicated question for us to answer. but at least, if this project is a royal project as well as involving FIP which is under the auspices of Mohmmed bin Salman. I'm pretty sure, they've thought of ways to get their local players to grow even further. either way, I don't have the answer for now. but at least, let's just follow every development of this competition after it starts again.

It is not always about the money neither. Modric will make about 20 million euro per year with his new contract and he was offered 200 million a year and yet he rejected it, and that's at 38 years old as well when he should be taking the last big payment of his life. On the other hand Benzema was offered the same and yet he declined and accepted the huge amount of money that he was offered as well.

It means that some players do prefer to go to Saudi Arabian league for the money and some players don't, it depends from person to person. This means that Brozovic could be either, if he wants to take the money then he should obviously go to Al-Nassr, if he wants to play in Europe a bit longer than he should be accepting the Barcelona offer instead.
Yes, not as long as players see the money they also want a career in Europe as a player who is more popular, Luka Modric has indeed rejected the offer of the Saudi team and he prefers Real Madrid with his contract extension maybe after his contract expires it does not rule out he will also leave to the Arab League.
Benzema already knows for sure the reason why he moved to the Arab League is because it's a Muslim country maybe that's what he wants and also earns a lot of money.

But on average, with offers from Arab teams, many European players have moved, which means they still want a lot of money from their annual salary, which is indeed human, everyone has different views.
but I think the Arab League will grow a lot if there are lots of European players.
