It's interesting to see how Arab League enthusiasts are becoming more numerous now, myself included.
I was initially not interested or even knew anything about these clubs in Arabia, but that changed after the big breakthrough made by one of the Arab clubs last season by signing mega star, Cristiano Ronaldo. I thought they'd move on from there, but they've gone even crazier this season by bringing in a lot of European-labeled players to join them.
I'm sure some people here are experiencing the same thing as me. Lol

Yes, although the Chinese league also previously or at that time made purchases of players who played in clubs in Europe, but the popularity of their league did not rise as it is currently happening in the Saudi Professional League. Because anyway, the increased interest in the Saudi Professional League at this time because they previously managed to recruit Ronaldo, who basically Ronaldo has a great influence. So yes, because of Ronaldo's arrival in this league, then of course it is also a trigger for other star players playing in European clubs and leagues to accept the offers made to them as well like Benzema and other players as well.

Saudi League is getting more popular otherwise we wouldn't see people around the world talking about it that much, even in our forums I feel the topic is more active than some European leagues.
The main point is how much this bubble or tendance will remain. I mean Chinese at some point were popular among Europeans then suddenly faded. I don't know if Saudis will keep their league attractive or will stop running behind players after few seasons..

As long as the saudi clubs keep pouring more money for SPL and i think that bubble gonna be live for long. Saudi has unlimited money from oil. It will be so easy to make sure if the league gonna be talked by so many people.
I remind you that even when saudi was announcing ronaldo and people have been starting to talk so much about arabian league. This gonna still continue till saudi will be reaching its target.
Saudi could become a place for the professional football player to retire. When they were old enough to play in european football. Saudi league gonna be the right place for them to get decent amounts of money and enjoy their life with it.
PIF will always try to keep its league to be very attractive.
And I think the peak of the popularity of the Saudi Pro League started when Al-Nassr succeeded in bringing Cristiano Ronaldo to their club. And I personally also started following every match Al-Nassr did because I was always curious about Cristiano Ronaldo playing there. Well, at first I just liked watching Al-Nassr. But then I got used to watching other clubs' games too. Especially Al-Ittihad and and Al-Hilal.

And now more and more European star players are joining SPL clubs. So, of course, the popularity of the SPL seems to last much longer, maybe even it will be increasingly recognized by football lovers around the world.

In the past, all I talked about with my friends and family were the leagues in Europe. but now half of our conversation is almost 40% talking about the transfer market related to Arab clubs. speculating and sometimes betting about whether or not a particular club will succeed in getting the player it is aiming for.

Saudi Professional League is moving in the right direction. During the last 2-3 months they have signed a number of quality players from various European leagues. There were a few let downs, like Messi moving to Inter Miami after rejecting the offer from Al Hilal, but in general they are moving in the right direction. And I can see that a lot of people are unhappy. Not just the management of the European clubs, but also many of the fans. I was going through the Daily Mail article regarding the move by Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. The comments section was full of hate filled posts by English football fans.
Even though in the end the Saudi league failed to bring in Lionel Messi, that did not dampen the intention of other European players to come to this league. Of course all European players are very tempted to get a lot of money the easy way and that is an opportunity they rarely encounter, that's why many are starting to like the Saudi league.

It is only natural that there are hateful comments about the Saudi league, especially coming from fans of Europe's top leagues, and the parties concerned are certainly very understanding of what they are doing. I think the fact that the saudi league is starting to gain popularity is indisputable from now on because this league will attract the interest of the public in a sizeable amount.
The offers with big salaries are good opportunities, the players previously played for achievement but at old age, they realize that money will meet their needs if someday they retire. The hateful comments about the Saudi league may related to players which has been proud of, especially maybe fans of some club, so it is indeed very natural because their fans want these players to stay with club which are they love.

That's a realty because now players are more attracted towards money instead of fame because in the end the only thing that can be useful in life is going to be money not the fame. Lionel Messi has taken a very mediocre step by not joining Saudi League because if he had joined it then he could also earn huge sums of money without much effort. Other than money they Saudi people also take care of their players by providing them all the protocol and facilities that one can only dream of. The players like Ronaldo are enjoying their gameplay in Saudi League and they are earning enough money to enjoy their lives after retirement.

But not many players can have the chance to be a big name in this sport because not everyone is born to be a superstar, only few are chosen and that few have every right to demand what is good for them because having a fame, money will always follow suit and that is a fact. Chasing money before the fame is literally a survival mode but that's now how you do it, you need to earn the fame first so that you can earn a much deeper pocket for that payday you wanted, everything has a process because there is no such thing as money first before fame.

Ronaldo is not first and he is also not going to be the last player playing in the Saudi teams at the end of his career we already saw many strong and good players this is not bad for players to play in the Asian teams to earn more money at end of their career because they can never get the money they can get in the Saudi teams while they play in their European teams.

It is harder to make a decision to leave Europe and join Saudi Professional League if players are in their 23 - 25 years old when they are experiencing best times in their careers. It is easier to convince them if they are more than 30s and like 33 to 35 years old, they will more easily to sacrifice their last 2 or 3 seasons in Europe because they almost won't get any big achievement with last few years in their career in Europe.
Yes that's right, it's very difficult to sign young players into the SPL at the moment. I think going forward it might be easier if the Saudi Pro League is more competitive like the leagues in Europe. Maybe among several factors, players between the ages of 20 and 30 still need various validations to prove themselves as the best soccer players such as winning the Ballon d'Or one of them. It is impossible to get this award at the moment when playing in the Saudi Pro League because we all agree that the SPL is not at the level of the EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and Liague 1.

Another factor is that every player's dream is to defend their country on the international stage, to be called up by the National Team coach and to write their name in the history of their own country's football is an extraordinary achievement and pride. I think that's why at the moment it's difficult for SPL clubs to get star players at a relatively young age range, for those who are 30 years and over it is very reasonable.

Saudi clubs are providing very good offers to convince the type 2 players, old and successful players so those players are more interested in leaving Europe. Messi made an exception by not joining Saudi Professional League but moving to MLS. Maybe it is because of religion and Messi wanted his children will have some years to grow up in the USA. to learn English which is an international language and will be helpful for his children.

That's right, especially this thread has become more lively since the transfer of several European players who decided to join the Saudi league in their careers. I understand your point about the existence of this Saudi league, can it last long enough or will it only be temporary like the Chinese league you mean. But I see that the Chinese league tends to bring in good European players and can't be called a star in Europe, while the Saudi league can even bring in one of the GOATs as an attraction for other star players to come like Benzema, Kante, Firmino and others.

Maybe this significant difference can illustrate how much better the Saudi league was than the Chinese league at that time. I think the saudi league will continue to target other star players because if you look at the current generation of star players they are in their 30s and above and it will be much easier for the saudi league to make attractive offers.

And maybe in the future the Saudi league will get more hatred from the European league supporters if its popularity is wider, and of course players and sponsors will pay more attention to this league in the future.
yes, this is a big Business plan built by the Saudi Arabian football industry. Of course, it's not just a matter of business that brings them money. but this also has to think about the fate of the younger generation who can compete in big competitions.
the arrival of several European players, most of them are no longer young. this can be used as a motivation for the younger generation to compete with European players. they can learn how to play and the training that European players do. however, a player like Ronaldo will have a sizeable impact on the growth of young players there.
The developers of Saudi football when viewed from this side are very smart in making their strategy to develop the interest of their generation, as far as I know Saudi Arabia or the Eastern Bloc countries have never recorded achievements in the World Cup, of course this has become a trigger for increased interest in football. football industry, we will see what the Saudis will do and how much impact this strategy will have on their current generation which they will show in the world cup, would you predict that.
I want to see that the Saudi professional league can produce many players who are able to compete on the international stage, and maybe become idols like Messi, Ronaldo and others.

There will be a time in the future that they can finally produce their own fine men to play in football and can compete fairly with the other known clubs mainly in the Western world and considering how dedicated they are to attract superstars on their club, I'm confident that sooner or later, Saudi League will grow more and will be known not just because of their humungous funds but because of the players they produce that can dominate too, and maybe by that time, they can be the champion in the FIFA WC.

Of course, we may expect obstinate attitudes from English supporters, who are vehemently opposed to their players transferring to the Saudi team. It is obvious that Saudi Arabia is utilizing their resources to attract players here, not because these players want to participate, but because they are enticed by the huge payments on provide, which they are unwilling to turn down. Saudi Arabian league is growing more popular in the football world, and everything is moving at a breakneck pace. A lot has been accomplished by these clubs in a short period of time.

LOL.. can't do much if the European clubs and their supporters are feeling bitter. In the recent past there were several instances of the clubs deliberately insulting and intimidating some of the players. One example is the suspension handed down to Messi by Paris Saint-Germain after he visited Saudi Arabia. UEFA clubs want the players to dance as per the whims and fancies of the management. And that too after offering peanuts. The entry of Saudi money has changed the picture upside down and has offered more options to the players to chose from.

They just cannot deny the fact that the Saudi League is slowly taking their crown and tempting some good players to come to them as they can offer a much better paycheck compared to the European clubs that has been the choice for many players are they were the ones who can give a much competitive paycheck back at the day, but now, the situation is already different and I will not be surprised if Saudi League will boom up because of it. Money will always attract players and that is the reality that they cannot deny.

Jordan Henderson as an Englishman and also the club captain of a big club like Liverpool would definitely find it difficult to leave the English Premier League club and join a Saudi Arabian League despite the fact that his playing career is dwindling down
If he could ever consider moving to SPL, it'll definitely happen because of influence of current Al-Ettifaq's manager Stephen Gerrard. The transfer window isn't yet over so this might be one the surprise moves of the summer
Let's see how it will be going on. I saw the latest update from him. Henderson already agreed in verbal agreement with ettifaq. His salary gonna be increase 5 times compared with his salary in liverpool. He has told klopp regarding his decision and klopp has been approving his hope to leave from the club and join in the ettifaq to play under steven gerrard. Just because he was captain of liverpool and it doesn't mean his movement to the ettifaq is inevitable.

I think that fabinho is gonna try to follow his movement to leave from liverpool and join in saudi club. Saudi's offer is very lucrative, and it's very hard to reject it. I will never pay Henderson 5 times more compared with his salary in liverpool.
Good luck to henderson in ettifaq. Saudi clubs are aiming more players from liverpool.
Previously Henderson has been reject the offers from Al-Ettifaq but i don't really know what causes he starting to considering that offer and i know Henderson last season cannot showing his best performance and Klopp was more likely to played him as the substitution but i think he still decent to playing at Liverpool even so with Fabinho that he is still main option for holding midfielder last season and i have been watching him several times performing well and as Liverpool fans personally i don't want to lost these players

But indeed if we see from the current condition for Liverpool they have to regeneration their squad and that's why Klopp this summer targetting young midfielder players and actually Liverpool doesn't want Fabinho to leave but they won't hold him if he decide go to Arabian club and for Fabinho it say Al-Ittihad will attempts to bid 40 millions so if the price reach an agreement and this transfer happened then he will joining with N'Golo Kante and Benzema so Al Ittihad will being an strong contender for league title along with Al Nassr

What the Saudi professional league teams are doing is something we cannot take lightly, what they are doing to get the world's attention is a very good strategy by bringing in top European league players, the failure to bring Messi by Al- hilla is not a problem, and also can't stop the saudi professional league becoming more and more popular nowadays.

I think this hatred is a natural thing because one by one the popular players who are in the media spotlight, prefer to enter the Saudi league, because they get decent payments for their profession, and after all, on average, every player definitely needs money for his welfare. , so indeed it is a good opportunity for those who get offers. And in fact it has also shifted the focus of the football media, the Saudi professional league has become very attractive, and also has a fairly large circulation of money.

And maybe in the future the Saudi league will get more hatred from the European league supporters if its popularity is wider, and of course players and sponsors will pay more attention to this league in the future.

Some people has speculate David De Gea future that after 12 years playing with Manchester United finally he will look for new clubs and recently he got several offers from Turkish team Fenerbahce and the latest is from Al Nassr that this team will attempts to gets De Gea with 250.000 per week salary and Al Nassr hopes De Gea will considering this offers and during play with Manchester United De Gea has playing 545 matches and 190 cleansheet so this is fantastic records from him
If De Gea want money then moved to Al Nassr would be good option but indeed he hasn't respond it yet regarding this rumour but let's see what his decision is whether De Gea will reject Al Nassr or he will accept it and play in the Saudi Pro League
And it will be De Gea's reunion with Cristiano Ronaldo if he chooses Al Nassr.
and Al Nassr Al Nassr want to continue strengthening the squad by recruiting top European players, and they have just brought in Marcelo Brozovic from Inter Milan.
And if De Gea wants to continue his career he can join another top club to look for new challenges because I don't think he is too old, and if he is chasing money Al Nassr is the right choice.
Manchester United are reportedly starting to target a number of goalkeeper candidates to replace De Ge and one of the names Teh Hag is eyeing is Jordan Pickford.
With the exit of De GEA an era is ended at Manchester United without any doubt he was the best player for years and done impressive job right now we have no official statement about his future and things are looking not easy for him because Al-Nassr already give him luxury offer which is surely not easy to leave but with few other offers are also around him like Fenerbahçe from Turkey is also looking for him to join them but what are the terms it's not clear.

Manchester United's search is on for the new goalkeeper with most chances they will be done with Onana and if this not happen then most chances Henderson will be their first choice goalkeeper for the next season now hopefully things will be positive for the Al-Nassr to bring De GEA in Saudi League because many big names are already here and this can give good chance to him join his former teammates.
