Al lttihad were fortunate to have Kante and Benzema in the same club; they are both world-class players whose presence will strengthen the team's playing style, its definitely going be interesting watching both players feature league games next season. That is exactly what happens when a club is looking to make substantial signings. Karim Benzema has anticipated his future and is unlikely to be ready to render services in his old age; he must create substantial figures for his rendered services on the pitch. Where will they have more success? Do you mean in the AFC Champions League? That could be the case since for now it was mostly Al-Hilal that represented Saudi Arabia in that competition. We will see how far Al-Ittihad is going to make it, but the qualification for now also was successful without Benzema. Buying players from Europe is not new. It happened with Middle East countries years ago and with Chinese League years ago. They can help in marketing and can help local players only if there are good strategies and activities to grow their local young players up. If those young players can learn from star and super star players like Ronaldo, Messi, Kante ... even they join the league when they are no longer young, it will help local football in long future.

If those leagues, clubs lack of such well plans, appearances of old super star players can not help anything big.
