Saudi Arabian club Al Helal have offered Lionel Messi an annual salary of €350 million. Messi has yet to renew his contract with PSG.
Ronaldo current club Al Nasser's biggest rival club is Al Helal. Al Helal have offered to pay 350 million euros in annual salary for Messi, which Messi can accept.

However, I am still not sure how true the incident is. I have heard such words in some media. That's why I published here. But if this event is true and if Lionel Messi plays for a Saudi club, then the game will be focused on the Middle East like in Europe.

Sometimes I think these rumors are put on the agenda to generate interest. Even if they don't want to sign Messi, they can advertise the club by putting these news on the agenda. I do not find such a possibility strange. I think such ideas are at the heart of modern advertising. But on the other hand, Al-Hilal may also want to sign Messi. Because they have the money to transfer Messi.

However, Messi has the physical ability to play at the highest level for at least two more years. He may also leave Paris Saint-Germain FC and go to Barcelona one day. I think he is not as helpless as Ronaldo.

This is a rumor that continues to be hot to talk about not because the SPL is a famous league but because the value offered is fantastic, this money will change many things in football including the player's focus is no longer accepting club offers that can make him win the title but what can provide a bigger salary so that he can retire as a player who has fantastic assets

Having the highest salary is everyone's dream especially soccer players apart from financial, they can also prove the most expensive player
Anyone who succeeds in achieving it will certainly be a pride, I think Messi needs to consider it next season.

I'm still wondering what purpose All-Nassr dared to pay Ronaldo with such a fantastic value. Initially, I wanted to watch his inaugural match against Al-Ta'ee but apparently he didn't make his debut in yesterday's match. I was totally marketing, with Ronaldo's move to the Arab League. because, he once said during his interview with Piers Morgan that he was not at all interested in the Middle East Leagues.

Nobody will plan for his own downfall, and as you can see him signing for Al Nassr was the last choice. He has evaluated every possibility and seen that him accepting the contract is the best thing he can do for himself lately especially after all the negative news that was flowing around him. From him getting sacked at Manchester united to losing out on the world cup and his biggest rival wining the title to big clubs rejecting him especially due to his high wages.

Humans can go back on their words so if Ronaldo did that it's not a big deal or would you had loved it if he stayed unemployed. Who will provide for his family and their expensive lifestyle due to their celebrity status. I believe Al Nassr wants to win the title that's why they got Ronaldo. Abubakar that Al Nassr just terminated his contract has not given the club what they signed him for. He hasn't won them the league title and the management has ran out of patience so now they got Ronaldo to bring that trophy home and I believe he's capable with his goals.

As it is said that be Careful with your words as sometimes your words infront of you and you have to face every bit of it. Ronaldo joining Al Nasr was a sensible decision from his end as his journey in Europe ended as all of is have seen that how things went with Manchester United and how he performed his last world cup .
So this option was kind of last resort for him and which honestly is not that bad interms of money . He can't live his life by running some restaurants so stuff,  he is a sportsman and he would like to stay in football world either its Europe or Arab.

It's highly probable that Messi will renew his contract with PSG for additional one or two years, after that he might come to Saudi Arabia. Messi in his 35 is different from Ronaldo as Ronaldo didn't find good deal in Europe and that why he preffered Al-Nassr, while Messi will be offered great deal from his club. The numbers Saudi teams are paying look big for sure, but I think players take other factors in consideration when they think about a deal. However, Messi will still has a chance for such salaries even after one or two years.

If Messi is hoping that he may end up with the same contract after 2 years, then he is wrong. Right now, Al Hilal want a superstar in their squad to counter Al Nassr's Ronaldo and that is the reason why they came up with this astounding offer. Once Ronaldo retires from club football, Al Hilal may not be willing to splurge such huge amounts. IMO, Messi should take up this offer and move to Al Hilal. He is 35 years now and at most he has another 3-4 years to make some money for himself. Once he retire, his market value will vanish. He has played top level football for well over a decade. Now he needs to focus on the money part.
You are right, the moment Ronaldo retires from football,Messi will have more rival in football. Al Hilad will not have interest in Messi if Ronaldo quits football, now is the time they need him to come and help the club win their league, since Ronaldo will help his new club this season. Messi is not a player that is after money,if you check his record,he has never become the world most highest paid player and that doesn't bother him,all his concentration is to play quality football. Ronaldo loves a flamboyant life style and I guess consider money first in his career based on his quality.

Wow!! Now this is going nuts. If Messi decides to dump Paris Saint-Germain for Al Hilal, then SPL may become one of the top-3 football leagues in the world, in terms of popularity and viewership. The prospect of Ronaldo vs Messi duel will be exciting for football fans around the world. And from what I heard, Al Hilal has offered a salary of €279 million ($300 million) for Messi. Already Messi is having some link with Saudi Arabia, as he serves as the ambassador for Saudi tourism. BTW, his current salary at PSG is around $41 million.

I just heard this news in the local media but none of this news comes from a valid source I mean from other parties unrelated to the club
The case of Messi and Ronaldo is different, when Messi is still in demand by many top European clubs then he still has many options before going to saudi league. I'm sure that at least one more year Messi will stay at PSG after that he can move before entering retirement  .

The fact that this topic didn't existed more than a week ago, and already has been 8+ pages shows the power of Cristiano Ronaldo. Not that he is still a superstar, he is a superstar "name" but he is not the type of player you would put at Reals front anymore obviously, because he got older. Don't know what people expected, him to win ballon d'or until 50 years old? Of course not.

However, his name is still huge, his name alone made it possible for him to get paid that much, not just his talents. This is as much of a PR move by the team and the league and even the nation as it was for football reasons, probably more PR than football actually. So, it doesn't matter how he plays there.

Someone already mentioned that the Instagram followers of Al Nassr went up by 10x ever since the announcement was made. Just shows the level of fan support commanded by Ronaldo. When the deal was first revealed, when it was clear that Al Nassr would be paying almost 7 times the salary being paid by Manchester United, everyone was up in arms. But now it looks like a fair deal, after seeing the increasing popularity of not just the club, but also for the Saudi Professional League. This was more like a one-time investment which immediately managed to propel the SPL to one of the most popular football leagues around the world.

In the last 2 seasons Al Nassr income is lower than spending and now that Ronaldo has arrived their spending is clearly bigger but there is a mission behind it all. I heard rumors that the Saudi were inspired by Qatar who hosted the World Cup so they want to get the same opportunity as the host. The first step the Saudi League must be the world's attention and now they have done it  Smiley

Ronaldo move to Saudi Arabia was not or is not only beneficial to the club but for both the club and likewise the league itself. Ronaldo present in the league has already started causing fans to follow up with the club and also be involved in the matches that are going on the league. Ronaldo present at al nassr will also attract more players to come to the league and viewer attention to be on the league.
Also I would love to see Ronaldo play and compete with other clubs in that continent for their famous AFC champions league. Since he is a specialist when its comes to winning of champions league ,he has famously won the European champions league with his former clubs like Madrid and Manchester United.

This is what most club had been looking to have a great player that will make fans and supporters want to watch them play making more money from ticket and jersey sales. Ronaldo moving to Al Nassr only had increase the number fans the club had with more supporters and people ready to watch him play on the pitch.

It is true that maybe this is only temporary for some people around the world to enjoy and it is certainly not possible to watch the matches of every team in the SPL. However, if there is Ronaldo at the club, then for the fans it is mandatory to watch the idol compete, whether against any team in the SPL. We know that Ronaldo had many fans before, such as at Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus, of course his fans would be happy if they could see him compete again even though it was not in a popular league and maybe you already know what makes his name so big in football is that he has so many fans around the world.
Yea, Other teams in the SPL might not get the attention of the football world, except they are playing against Al Nassr, Al Nassr will get all the attention of fans and even the CR7 critics, but one thing is for sure all eyes will be on Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr, and that's the influence Cristiano Ronaldo has on the club and the league, any television channel streaming matches live in the Saudi pro League will start from Al Nassr or will stream only Al Nassr games because of Cristiano Ronaldo.
This is a man of value and being sorted for because of his great influence and how he does his thing. We could see that Al Nassr had a massive increase in the numbers of followers in Twitter from 800k to more 10 million because of ordinary Ronaldo.

I don't think there's anything really interesting in the Saudi Arabian League except discussing Ronaldo's situation and his form. I haven't even watched the Saudi Arabian League in recent years, and probably never will. So if Ronaldo doesn't get a contract from one of the teams there, then maybe we won't be this close to the names of the teams competing there either. It's good that there is more and more competition known only for star players, this will elevate them too.

I heard that there will be scheduled club friendlies between Al-Nassr of Saudi which has Ronaldo and PSG of France which has Messi.
I don't know how genuine this information is. I willbe glad if anyone can confirm this information and also give me date for the supposed friendly to hold because I will like to view the match.
I read this news recently, but I can't find the schedule. If true, then it will be called a friendly match which is likely the result of cooperation between the two club owners.

It is true!

PSG will make a trip to Doha and Riyadh between the 18th and 19th of January. On this tour they will have the opportunity to meet their supporters from Qatar and MENA, in addition to participating in a series of activities organized with the Club's partners present at the Qatar, such as Qatar Airways and other major companies.

After Doha they will play against a combined selection of players from top Saudi clubs Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr. The game will be held at King Fahd Stadium on January 19.

In fact, this tour itself is nothing new for Qatar or PSG, as in recent years, Qatar has hosted several tours from Paris Saint-Germain, such as the Qatar Handball Tour in 2014 and 2015, the Qatar Ladies Tour in 2015 and the Qatar Tour in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2022.

For those who want to watch the game, the friendly will be broadcast directly on PSG TV on its social networks and also on the beIN Sports network.

Chances are I think the streaming channel will only provide matches for Al-Nassr because as long as there is Cristiano Ronaldo surely that will also make a profit for the service provider. Visitor traffic has also increased and that is what every streaming broadcast owner hopes for. But with that, everyone will definitely start to understand who or what clubs are currently competing in the SPL, so the name Cristiano Ronaldo will only be a successful intermediary for every club in the SPL.

I'm still wondering what purpose All-Nassr dared to pay Ronaldo with such a fantastic value. Initially, I wanted to watch his inaugural match against Al-Ta'ee but apparently he didn't make his debut in yesterday's match. I was totally marketing, with Ronaldo's move to the Arab League. because, he once said during his interview with Piers Morgan that he was not at all interested in the Middle East Leagues.

however, what was the background that he changed his decision and was willing to leave to follow in the footsteps of Xavi and Iniesta, whom he initially ridiculed because he ended up in the Qatar league if I'm not mistaken the Qatar League. But, however, All-Nassr is a club that always ranks in the top four of the Saudi League. and it should be, with Ronaldo making this team even sharper in terms of attack lines. So, I was curious to the point that I wanted to witness his first debut for his new club.

Next, All-Nassr will visit the Al-Shabab headquarters, which in fact the home team is a pretty tough team. well, I really want to see it.
