sure am trying to save for the future..and thats why i buy, invest and put much effort to have or earn a stable btc for future use...
Bitcoin is a long term project. Therefore it makes sense to save small parts over a long horizon. Do you save Bitcoins for your (grand) child or children?
For those who do not have (grand) children (yet), would you save Bitcoin for them if you would have (grand) children?

I save mostly for the old version of myself
This is something I have been considering recently as I have just got the 1 toddler, would it work out better than any standard ISA or saving account, possibly and it would definitely be safer then a traditional bank holding your money as you will have complete control of the keys.
Everything we do, we do for our children. At the moment I save coins, but I need to admit that I didn't think about giving them to my kids. I save for one day when they worth to have some money, but giving coins to children or grandchildren is great idea, better to give them coins then real cash.
My kid is still young, at the age of 1 year he doesn't understand anything. For couple years I will start to show him what he can do, maybe I will need to wait even more. Thatis why I also see bitcoins as long term investment.

i do not think bitcoin users save their bitcoin for grand child or children bitcoin, i think anyone do not know that what price will be bitcoin low or high in the future.
yeah you're right I did not keep my bitcoin for my children and grandchildren. because I myself think that is it bitcoin could last until decades later? I think no one can be sure that it will happen? so just to prepare and guard I always convert my bitcoin to fiat and I'll save a lot of money for my children and grandchildren?Lol it is not an excuse to spend all your earning from bitcoin into something unimportant. If you think about your children or grandchildren, and want to save for your kids, I agree you can convert it to fiat and save it. But if for now bitcoin is so trendy that it always increase in price, you can just keep it for a while then convert it at its peak price.
if you are scared of losing or about the price or even if you are cheap you can buy a small amount of bitcoin like $50-$100 more or less and keep it for your children.
many have gotten rich this way when they bought bitcoin back in 2009 and in those years when bitcoin price was like $10

But i think, if peoples with huge amount just saving their coin, it doesn't move the price to increase. Just trade it.

Many people have high hopes for this project to last long in upcoming future years especially to those large holders of bitcoin. You have a point as of now they must trade those coins so that the price would increase because holding those coins for so long wouldnt contribute to increase it price.
I'm not sure if bitcoin will around when my grandchildren are old enough to take advantage of it. Technology advances at an exponential rate and in 20 years we might not even recognize the advances made. Innovations are going to occur that haven't even been imagined at this point, so I think it's best to keep pace with technology and be prepared to maneuver assets into the most promising ventures.
Yes. While I too like the idea of saving and then giving BTC to my kid (and perhaps later grandchild(ren)), it might be smart to put it large amounts of BTC away for them.
Already Bitcoin technology may be on the verge of making some older wallets obsolete, and the newer HD wallets do not allow Private Keys to be imported (so OPENDIMEs may not be able to "send" their balances to HD wallets, ugh).
It is probably very smart to be monitoring rather closely the technology changes to make sure that anything you do NOW will still be valuable LATER.

In that case you have a point, while waiting we need to trade to multiply our bitcoin in different exchange platfrom and we can do invest some another(altcoin) which we think is potentialy will increase in the long run. besides nothing to loose if we buy/invest in small amount of price in satoshi.
This is simple and easy to do. It's what I am doing for the grandchildren.

That is really cool man. your grandchildren will be surprise when they know you saved lots of bitcoin for them in their every birthday. I think it is all our responsibility to save some money and give our grandchildrens a good future what we didn't get..
thats not a bad idea but i am actully 18 now and i don't think that i should save anything now for my grand children or grand child .i am not capable to apply for a job till now first i should complete my education and bitcoin is helping me a lot on this
of course this thing is not for you.. you should focus on your own future first.Wow! your only 18yrs.old, that's cool at your very young age you became open minded into this kind of opportunity. I saw that you will take a long journey here in bitcoin world and became one of the succesfull bitcoin enthusiast in bitcoin community. I also like the idea of the above. I'll do same thing also.
You are definitely right also, you should prioritize your study before anything else, and its good to hear that bitcoin is one of the tools for you to sustain all your needs and expenses to your studying. I do believe before you come at the stage of your graduation, you save a lot of satoshi/bitcoin in your bitcoin wallet.

Figure it's not much now and something they can follow and get into bitcoin.

I think we will not know the future of bitcoin itself? so I thought why should we confuse to save bitcoin for our grandchildren? if bitcoin survive. I certainly would not give bitcoin freely on them. they have to work hard to get their own bitcoin itself 
Maybe our grandchildren will think Bitcoin is oldfashioned. Who nows what other "miracles" will be invented or developed by then, things are moving forward so fast.

I may save some to give them later on but nothing grand, my plan is to earn as much as possible everyday, sell the large portion and save around 5-10% from everyday and hold it untill the price jumps
You should have to hold for your grands, it is not bad that you hold your bitcoins till your grands be able to be the part of world economy with that they will love you as you will be the person who have gave them something for making their future. I think we all have to save some good amount of coins for our grands.
Yeah, that is right, we should have to save some coins for our new generations, and have to support it more so that our new generation find it amazing with some coins which will be the global currency and will have a higher value.

I think, it makes sense to save a small amount for my grandchildren. I never spend all BTC from my wallets, I always save some that I'm not using, just keeping. Sometimes I'm broke and I'm happy to have it and sometimes I'm happy to think that when I can't be broke anymore, my children and grandchildren will have it.
