I may save some to give them later on but nothing grand, my plan is to earn as much as possible everyday, sell the large portion and save around 5-10% from everyday and hold it untill the price jumps

You should have to hold for your grands, it is not bad that you hold your bitcoins till your grands be able to be the part of world economy with that they will love you as you will be the person who have gave them something for making their future. I think we all have to save some good amount of coins for our grands.

This is simple and easy to do. It's what I am doing for the grandchildren.
I have a different paper wallet for each of them, and every year I add some dollar worth of bitcoin on their birthdays  Smiley

That is really cool man. your grandchildren will be surprise when they know you saved lots of bitcoin for them in their every birthday. I think it is all our responsibility to save some money and give our grandchildrens a good future what we didn't get..

thats not a bad idea but i am actully 18 now and i don't think that i should save anything now for my grand children or grand child .i am not capable to apply for a job till now first i should complete my education and bitcoin is helping me a lot on this
of course this thing is not for you.. you should focus on your own future first.

Wow! your only 18yrs.old, that's cool at your very young age you became open minded into this kind of opportunity. I saw that you will take a long journey here in bitcoin world and became one of the succesfull bitcoin enthusiast in bitcoin community. I also like the idea of the above. I'll do same thing also.

Bitcoin is a long term project. Therefore it makes sense to save small parts over a long horizonI . Do you save Bitcoins for your (grand) child or children?

For those who do not have (grand) children (yet), would you save Bitcoin for them if you would have (grand) children?

I am really doing it already saving bitcoin for my family in the near future. I do believe that one day bitcoin will rise up at the price we did not expect. So every time I earned bitcoin I separated small amount of satoshi and keep it to my wallet to be safe and secure. Aside from my personal savings this thing is a good one that bitcoin thought me which I never did it before during the time I was employed.

I'm already saving a fair amount of money for my children and grand-children, assuming that I get that far, mostly because I believe that a legacy s more important than just having a number there and available whenever, and giving your children or whoever a head-start is a pretty big bonus for them and it can help them out a lot. While you should spend some money on yourself, the future is important.

To all member's who commented in this question your answer is the best choice that I can follow it too. It doesn't matter if you have a children or not even a grand a child but yours idea was a unique one which I really like to do it also. I can say that your really a bitcoin veterans. Thanks to you pal! Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley

That's was a nice question and to be discuss in, I do everything in my daily life now just to earn bitcoin for some other reason, which I can accumulate small amount of it to save and hold it for the long term that I can  give savings for my future family especialy to my kids and grandchild too.

do you already have children/grandchildren? it sounds like you have an account, where you save money for them and this is the only reason for the account.
is it one big one or do you save for every child separately? what about different amounts? hoe do you know if there will be more or how many you will have?
i like the idea, maybe i start this to.

Im too young to think about grandchildren. When Bitcoin is 100k+ in 10+ years, I will enjoy the gains myself, and then we will talk about grand children later. I am only 30 years old, in 10 years I can still be a fresh looking 40 year old with a big wealth to enjoy Smiley

I'm saving bitcoins but it's not for my grandchildren/child cause I'm so young and it doesn't crossed my mind yet but I think there is still a possibility cause if it can help someone why not? And I might withdraw my coins for emergency purposes
the same for me, saving bitcoins for grandchildren would be dumb for me as i need money at the moment myself to be honest

I don't think so, cause at my opinion better not to save money, better to save different stuff like gold and other antic and rare things to sell it in future.

For me personally, that is quite a distance off in the future, where they would be able to appreciate / understand what it is. Who knows if BTC will still be the dominate player in the Crypto space by then?

I dont have that idea yet but since my wife is now pregnant, and I have read this so it worked out in my mind now that I will create a one account that will be for him and he might use it in the future. I am excited.  Grin

congratulations Smiley
bitcoin is the best thing you can leave for your children and give it to them after a very long time (many years in the future) because of the price and the possibility of the long term big rises.
just remember to create a cold storage the most secure way possible and you can add to it over time too. a laminated paper wallet is the nicest option in my opinion.

Saving bitcoin for my children or my grandchildren will be great, but i doubt bitcoin can survive until i have grand children, but for sure i am going to save bitcoin for my children, for now and future, bitcoin is a great investment tool, and if the halving effect happen, it will raise the bitcoin price for sure, hopefully when i pass down the bitcoin for my children the price is already more than 1000$

I think that would be a great thing to do and for the future generations as well, Plenty of people have become rich thanks to their grandfathers work and I think it would be good to leave some bitcoins for them in case it goes as mainstream as most of the people here predict.

With bitcoins you could even implant the child with a small piece of metal in his flesh in which is engraved a wallet. (But this could be a bad idea since it would encourage thiefs to kidnap him and steal it from inside him
