It was the Bitcointalk forum that inspired us to create Bitcointalksearch.org - Bitcointalk is an excellent site that should be the default page for anybody dealing in cryptocurrency, since it is a virtual gold-mine of data. However, our experience and user feedback led us create our site; Bitcointalk's search is slow, and difficult to get the results you need, because you need to log in first to find anything useful - furthermore, there are rate limiters for their search functionality.
The aim of our project is to create a faster website that yields more results and faster without having to create an account and eliminate the need to log in - your personal data, therefore, will never be in jeopardy since we are not asking for any of your data and you don't need to provide them to use our site with all of its capabilities.
We created this website with the sole purpose of users being able to search quickly and efficiently in the field of cryptocurrency so they will have access to the latest and most accurate information and thereby assisting the crypto-community at large.

_BlackStar, I caught you this time for 777 merit and save it here. That is a great achievement, and congratulations to you. Oh, I almost missed it again. Thanks for save it for me. That looks cool.It was an exciting day for me as I managed to rank up to Legendary. So you are Legendary now? Great, that would be a lot of fun. I think it will be great for anyone who manages to rank up to Legendary in this forum, nor will I hide that feeling if I rank up Hero to Legendary later. So, Congratulations Falconer. Rest congratulations to all the members who have saved their records above and will ask the @OP to edit the front wall with some fresh records also to keep this thread updated. For today I also keep two notes that must be kept in this thread they have succeeded in dancing continuous merit, this will continue for them. And I'm sure the higher the merits that are stored here. filippone 9800 will soon hit 10k Mino Raiola 1111 is a cool number. Edit Added LeGaulois as a new record with 3k merit
So a lot of things going on here and suppose I was missing them all but couldn't keep away too long from this thread so back again with another merit record to save in the forum library
This time it's @stompix a well known member of CM gang who has managed to attain 3737 merits on his profile and before it was ruined I took the opportunity to save it so here goes his record: Rest congratulations to all the members who have saved their records above and will ask the @OP to edit the front wall with some fresh records also to keep this thread updated. It was an exciting day for me as I managed to rank up to Legendary. Unfortunately I didn't have the chance to keep 1000 merit records, but it's always possible to save a bigger amount in the future. Maybe someone could have managed to do this registration. There is an excellent team of recorders here, who may have captured this record and will soon be posting here. Congratulations on leveling up.

-snip- I understand your situation, and those are simple things that might happen to some people. I also can't remember everything especially about some things in the past, but I will still remember some important things as knowledge and basic things to help other users get enough knowledge. And since I'm in a cool community, I had two users who reminded me where it is: @n0nce and @Falconer Thanks again for the reminder! It was an exciting day for me as I managed to rank up to Legendary. Unfortunately I didn't have the chance to keep 1000 merit records, but it's always possible to save a bigger amount in the future. Because you are one of the members who are quite active on the local board, then it looks like you've also forgotten that one of the sticky thread on your local board has also explained it to everyone. Lol Well it was! These are things that happen! Fortunately I am in a community of people who are always attentive, and willing to help. Helping even those who sometimes don't even notice things that are right in front of their eyes. Sometimes we are so focused on the most recent and complex things, that we don't even remember the simple things that have been around for a long time. It's not because I'm very active that I have to remember everything at the same time, especially things that don't affect my forum activity. I'm on the forum, even before these details "exist", and I'm only active here not because of these details, but because I like to live in this community, learn and share. Sometimes the idea is created that just by being very active or having been on the forum for a long time, you have to remember all the details about everything that goes on here. But, this is not so. The person does not have to know everything by heart, before knowing that this information exists and searching for it. And when the information is not found, have the humility to ask for help in finding it. Which is what I did, I didn't ask what it was like, but how to find it. And since I'm in a cool community, I had two users who reminded me where it is: @n0nce and @Falconer Thanks again for the reminder! Yes, I've read it... but it was so long ago that I forgot where I was. So I remembered to ask. Because you are one of the members who are quite active on the local board, then it looks like you've also forgotten that one of the sticky thread on your local board has also explained it to everyone. LolIt turns out to be useful, for everyone to remember! It's still possible for some people to forget or ignore activity and merit, they don't care about rank and they don't care how much merit they get but the majority don't. It's one of the first posts I had read after registering on this forum, since it's 'sticky' in the Beginners & Help board and has a nice exclamation mark icon. But since you registered 3 years before that topic, I guess you haven't seen it yet.. At the time we didn't have those things... nor merits. Yes, I've read it... but it was so long ago that I forgot where I was. So I remembered to ask. It turns out to be useful, for everyone to remember! Hehe If you want, you can take a look at what I consider to be my best topics here: You can capture the moment before making another post. I sent you 7 merit to one of your post 😉. I wish I was a merit source and could send more to some of your posts but I am not. I had 10 and now 3 lefts LOL. By the way, it was fun to send out the merit but I do not think anyone think it was an abuse too. If I check your post history than you deserve more. Good job. Now, I take the opportunity to ask. What is the topic that explains how the field of activity works? How is forum activity calculated? Activity is calculated with the following formula: Code: activity = min(time * 14, posts) Activity is increased by posting and is updated every hour; however, the updated number of activity points will be reflected at your profile at the end of the current activity period. As a note, in case you have latent activity points from earlier periods (meaning activity periods where you didn't post daily: in this case, the days when you did not post become latent activity points), these ones will be updated on your profile after 1 hour. You can gain a maximum of 14 activity points every 2 weeks. It's one of the first posts I had read after registering on this forum, since it's 'sticky' in the Beginners & Help board and has a nice exclamation mark icon. But since you registered 3 years before that topic, I guess you haven't seen it yet.. I didn't show up on your list... It's for some reason in particular, or I still haven't reached the records needed to be included. You could not show up there. Perhaps you did not pay attention to what the statistics present. The users mentioned by Ddmr are those which have more merits than posts (not more merits than activity). I make it 2003 forum members as of last Friday, considering those that have more earned merits than posts (I disregarded airdropped Merits) Thanks for the clarification. They really hadn't realized it that way. Now, I take the opportunity to ask. What is the topic that explains how the field of activity works? legendary

I was more interested to see the stat for Hero and Legendary users and as I expected it's not many. Out of many its only 17 (8+9) which gives a clear indication that this is a very hard ratio to chase. True. The more time passes, the more posts a user has. And the more posts he has, the more difficult it is to keep the pace with having same number of earned merits. Gazeta, [...] Clearly the number of posts suppressed the merits for now. Are you up to make an interesting topic/posts for us to give you some more merits? 😉 Hehe If you want, you can take a look at what I consider to be my best topics here: - The shameful Romanian translation of Bitcoin white paper from Bitcoin.org-FIXED! - from this topic I managed to change the existent Romanian translation from bitcoin.org (details within the posts from the end of the topic) - Investigation about paraipan - 2020 edition - inside this topic I proved the truth about paraipan -- ex-forum treasurer / deceased -- the truth being that he did not steal forum funds. Many users tried to find the truth about him, but none succeeded. I am still trying to find the thief which stole paraipan's (forum's) coins. - Bitcoin: The dream of Cypherpunks, libertarians and crypto-anarchists - my 1000th post - The call for Julian Assange || The WikiLeaks Manifesto - We all should read it -- requiem for a Cypherpunk - 12 years later and people still don't know to use Bitcoin nor what it's good for - Governs are coming for the traders! - Cryptocurrency vs digital money issued by the state - The Crypto Anarchist Manifesto - We all should read it - Governs try to limit access of public to information and freedom since ages - Phil Zimmermann's thoughts about PGP - We all should read them - When the govern wants to hold your private keys Nevertheless, I will still try to bring valuable contributions to the forum and make more interesting topics / posts. I didn't show up on your list... It's for some reason in particular, or I still haven't reached the records needed to be included. You could not show up there. I make it 2003 forum members as of last Friday, considering those that have more earned merits than posts (I disregarded airdropped Merits) List ordered by rank and then by Received Merits - Posts Whaaat? Are you sure some users aren't missing? If I sort by 'Merits received minus posts' (column G), I'm in place 6 after some absolute legends. This can't be real, but it makes for a cool screenshot which I'll obviously save here! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1a4mmOKjFXDfsrOBP3HJRDFMYt_KcEpHeW21x73kcGF4/edit?usp=sharing List ordered by rank and then by Received Merits - Posts https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1a4mmOKjFXDfsrOBP3HJRDFMYt_KcEpHeW21x73kcGF4/edit?usp=sharing I didn't show up on your list... This is my first time posting merit notes from DdmrDdmr
