Unfortunately when we get people doing scams in the crypto space we see that often the price of ETH and actually other coins too will fall. This is a symptom of what happens in the markets when there are scams.

it still often happens because their leaders want big profits by deceiving many people and that has a little impact. because if the token cannot be converted to etherum, I think it has not had a big impact on the etherum market.

I think that only the amount of ETH that they received by the Scammers is why it is the only way they can lower prices for ETH, because they will sell at once in large quantities.
And if the market was not having a lot of support in the market and then that could affect the price of ethereum but they are choosing the exchange site which having a large volumes to liquidate their money instantly.

indeed there may be some people who manipulate ethereum prices, I think scammers are one of the things that affect ethereum's market capitalization, because surely after cheating they will sell a lot of ethereum they have and result in a decrease in ethereum prices

Hello, You know guys most of reason why ETH falls down because of a lot of scammers used the smart contract and make a bright idea about for the future but its only fake. They always convince the investor using their good marketing strategy and once the investors are convinced so they invest their money. And once the scammers has a lot of ETH accumulated from the investors the will sell immediately so they can affect the whole market cap of ETH. What do you think?
in my opinion it is true only partially, yes many ico are scam and perhaps they do so however the low value of eth is also given by the low values of the market and the poor volumes

I do not think that someone can have a great influence on the price of such a popular coin. It seems to me that the price of a coin is related to the overall ratio of supply and demand.

Scammers and fake ico may appear as an excuse for the dump in etherum price
But they are not entirely at fault

Scammers can only cause a sudden blip in price and not a consistent dump
As experienced with etherum

I will a yes to this topic, if scammers steal some huge amount of Ethereum, and the scammers wish to sell them off at the same time, it will affect the price of Ethereum.

In principle, this is the picture we have seen the whole of 2018, as such fraudulent projects were very many, but of course the goal was not to lower the cost of Ethereum.

I agree with you. Scammer can affect the ETH price. Ethereum contract system is very developed but it is very easy to make new Token on the Ethereum platform. So, many scammers taking a chance to scam newbie people and by doing that ETH price can decrease!  Therefore, it is very hard to realize which project is going to be scam. I will not forget Hashcard and Ubonium names! They looked very real but they scam 24 millions USD and ETH price affected for that!

I don't think they can move the market with their funds, i don't think it's enough, i wouldn't be worry that much only whales can bring down the market and no one else, a single scammer wouldn't be able to do anything to the market.
Everything is not as rosy as you imagine. Recall, at least, the EOS, which periodically sells its 400k eth, thereby affecting the exchange rate of the currency itself. Yes, as for the EOS, we are dealing with a competitor of the eth, who is really interested in this, but it still clearly shows how such a sale affects the currency exchange rate.
Now imagine that in the conditions of the market, with small volumes of trades (as we have seen recently), some kind of scam project will sell at least 2-5k ether. And you think it will not affect the course of the eth? You are wrong.

EOS is simply waiting for the right time before dumping ethereum out of the market. EOS doesn't have a usable product yet, but when it does and becomes close to toppling ethereum they will dump all their holdings of ETH and sideline them down the shitcoin market

I think that the EOS can't take the place of the ether. Even when their product will be ready and they will throw off all their ether, the maximum that they can do is dump the course of the ether. I'm also sure that the ether team is smart enough to prevent this event from destroying it. I think that in the near future some kind of protective measures will be taken for this.

I agree with the view that people who hold a lot of ETH and they sell in bulk will make ETH decrease. Besides Bitcoin also contributes to ETH and other coins falling in price. On the other side of the crypto, the market is degraded after a period of high price increases.
If a whale that is holding ETH begins to sell then it is clear that such an action will reduce the price of ethereum but the amount of ethereum will need to be huge for that to happen and most people do not have that kind of money so most of what we do does not effect the market at all so I will not worry about such a thing, what we need to worry is about whether or not ethereum can maintain its price now that the hard fork will not happen.

If the scammers who today could still collect a huge amount of cryptocurrencies still today can put pressure on the market, this is true. But no matter how it all sounds, the market still has much more serious problems than scammers. The problem is whether the world needs it at all.

Scammers can really influence people, and it is precisely the actions of the campaign that are very much outraged because investors' money leaves the market. It's sad to understand this, but this is a big problem today.

Yes, I think that may well be so. However, it is unlikely that the scammers are aiming to destroy Ethereum in this way. They probably just want to make a profit and they do not care what will happen to the coin.

I guess it's gonna take a little bit to the ethereum price down. Some investors are now more careful to invest their money. Because the investors would be smarter to avoid the project scam.

What you are saying is right but not only with Ethereum, but also for whole market when the scam situation still happens rampant. The best way for everyone is to improve knowledge and wariness to restrict fraud
