Did you also use the updated client? I downloaded the new client, then got the sync error, deleted the blockcahin and let it resync and then it worked fine.
i downloaded 1.3v client. I deleted the blockchain but it don't resync. I also added a node, but ....

i had a problem my wallet was giving runtime c++ error read about it and it looks like it was corrupt so i use the option -savagewallet to try to fix it.

What you can do is create .ico with all image sizes to replace the Printer logo, or make a custom Printer logo, etc. But it has to be in the right ico formats will all image sizes in it, and I don't really know how to do that myself.
Ok, so basically you want the logo to be a printer. I like that ! You'll have to wait some spare time on my side, gotta work for the real economy

I delete Wallet Directory (At %AppData%), but not wallet.dat - it works for me by re-sync all blocks and upto date.
