I have finished the bnk coin windows compiled wallet supporting from winxp sp2 to win7(win8 should be fine, not tested) , compiled on the latest source code ( 7th.Jan).
this wallet solved this issue that current wallet can't run on winXP, I wish author and users accept it as official version on windows after discreetly testing.

Right now it's about 8.84.
Some people seem to be promoting BEK being listed on exchange sites (Cryptsy, etc.), while I can't imagine exchange owner would chose one candidate without open parameters or screen its codes line by line. Would you please tell the public the details? The BEK community will appreciate that very much.

when is fractional reserve banking going to be integrated? this is just one thing missing from otherwise great money system, forget bitcoin and its deflationary system.

I updated to the new version but my wallet.dat was overwritten with a new file with the date of today. I have an empty wallet instead of the 82K BEK I used to have.
Didn't make a backup so I lost all my coins.
Edit: I had deleted everything in the Bernankoin folder except wallet.dat so I figure I have to wait untill all the blocks are synced as this post mentions: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/scammers-scamming-scammers-375010

This coin is still somewhat valuable for development - you can try making faucets, mining pools, various sites and other stuff (oh, wallet got erased? Misconfiguration? Money sent in got lost? No problem, I'll print few more millions on this coin because any bugs are quite cheap (losing wallet full of BEK is not as bad as losing wallet full of LTC or BTC)
Advantage is that this is a "real" coin and you just compile the daemon and it sort of works
Realistic value of BEK would be about as much as realistic cost of monopoly money ... if they have nice pictures, you perhaps can get few pennies for a million
