BADecker I just love how you ignored the statement about how you say humanity popped into existance according to our argument (which according to you is impossible) then you ignore the questions of "so god just popped into existence?" as if the statement was never made. Good show my boy.

Which proves my point.
Trouble with all this so called "research" is that the researcher is very often blinkered by his own beliefs.
Reading the parts they want to believe in and quickly skimming passed the bits they don't, is not research.

Evolution has never been disproven. If it had it would no longer be a theory.
Its not our job to dispriove God. You say he excist. You have to prove it.

Again where is your evidence?
It's in a book written by men who smoked too much weed, around 2000 years ago.
They keep talking nonsense, 'Evolution was disapproved' sigh.

What's wrong with nuclear weapons  Huh
In good peoples hands, nothing.

Good people do good, bad people do bad, regardless of religion.
Religion makes good people do bad things...
So much win in this reply. Yes it does, then they blame it on the 'devil'.  Roll Eyes

But my all time favourite quote has got to be:

"Give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day.
Teach a man to fish, and he will feed himself for life.
Teach a man religion, and he will starve praying for fish."

So true, so true.

My statement still holds true regardless of your ideas and opinions. Here, I'll make it easier to understand:

We are no closer to proving god than 1000 years ago. FACT.
We are no closer to disproving god than 1000 years ago. FACT.
No evidence exists in favor of god, same as 1000 years ago. FACT.
No evidence exists not in favor of god, same as 1000 years ago. FACT.

You just don't get it do you? Religion/God works because it is a faith.

There's not meant to be any evidence/proof. That's the whole point..

C'mon, I'm not even religious but I still "get" how it operates.

But the reverse is true as well.

We are no closer to disproving God, either.
However, the more modern science gets, the more it disproves evolution.
Evolution has been disproven thousands of times since Darwin.
Yet nobody has disproven God.

Study the books. You will see that ALL evolution is based on scientists saying wording like, "maybe it happened this way."

The religion of evolution is one of the saddest religions around, even as its followers are some of the greatest believers in their religion.

Would you ask Dank to thoroughly research drugs for you? Of course not, the report would be bias.

Question; what is the worst man-made invention. A or B?

A) Nuclear weapons.
B) Religion.

You are asking the wrong question...

Question; What is real, A or B?

A) Nuclear physics.
B) Religion.

Both are real.
Nuclear physics: Fukushima.
Religion: Islam, Buddhism, Sikhism etc....

Replace 'religion' with 'god' then it works.

I disagree, however it is probably just a matter of semantics.

Religion exists, but it is not real.
Religion is fake.

And yes, you are right.
God does not exist.

And yes, you are right.
God does not exist.
I've no idea if God exists or not. Same as every single person on this planet.

All I can say is, if he does exist, when it's my time to get called into his office, I hope he's got some good excuses ready!

I'm going with B always on this.

There are some really good posts here if you ask me. People tend to follow religion blindly, just like they do with governments/news.
There is so many who are the 'sheep' population.

First of all, there are 400,000,000,000 stars in our galaxy and there are 200,000,000,000 galaxies in the universe, totaling a septiillion stars.
One of these stars is our sun with planet earth orbiting around it, that is one in a septillion stars.
And a lot of these stars have planets orbiting around them.

Secondly, the modern human is at most 50,000 years old, while the universe filled with stars and planets is 13,800,000,000 years old.

Thirdly; the whole god concept did not exist before modern man evolved from the apes.
Or do/did apes also have a god concept???

Are we really this special that we have a god who 'just recently', on this tiny young planet earth, created us as a reflection of himself?

It is pretentious and ridiculous...

That's the point of religions

Eventually, everything will be known. Eventually.

Not sure if that's a good thing or not for the human race. Smiley

It's not the human race that you should be worried about. We'll live. It's every other species you should worry about.

Wrong, we've created theories to explain what used to be attributed to deities. Eventually, we'll be able to have actual proof that no deity exist. Eventually.

People's evidence FOR a deity "oh, a god carries the sun and another for night". Science has proved that wrong in multiple regards.

Eventually, everything will be known. Eventually.
