Can anyone explain me what are the actual advantages of this platform? It would still be much easier to find investments for something like this https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/adv3nture/the-dr.. , than for any potential “fundamental discovery” without any financial benefit in the near future.
Just to name a few:
a) we bring crypto investors into science (you can't invest BTC in Kickstarter)
b) we rate projects based on a crowd voting system and a machine algorithm
c ) we let projects to raise funds without spending anything in setting-up smart contracts or the likes
d) we offer a scientists-focused freelancing platform

these projects are not about 'fundamental discoveries', but about production ready applied sciences methods like for example the Healthmonitor, which is already in small scale series production

Yes, they have much support from the scientific community and many people will also invest in this as it is built upon a very popular aim of developing other scientific projects. Right, supporters, investors and the team are very important to make the project succeed because each one of them plays different role in the project. I believed also in the saying " Two is better than one" because in here it needs more ideas and strategy to attract investors and to make the project useful to everyone. Hope the team will accepts suggestions and good ideas and maintain being active.

What did you mean by unofficial sources? if you mean government then scientists get money from different sources !, plus those scientists will come to SCIENTIFIC platform to get the money by creating smart contract. Try to read the whitepaper to get better idea how it will work.

A good project with a good project team members that make up this project as good as it is. You already said it and what else can we ask for instead to track this project development and updates.
