For anyone crapping their pants over the price you should read this:

Particularly apt:

"So my advice right now is to tune out the hysterics. Don't panic. And, most of all, don't abandon the discipline of buying great businesses when they get cheap.

When you're feeling lousy about your stocks, this is the kind of information you need to remember.

... and as long as you buy great stocks for great prices... a falling market shouldn't cause you anxiety.
It should cause you delight."

the text you linked is about stockmarket and the companies in stockmarket; and it says about keeping ur money in the market 10 years or more...

which 10 years are we talking about in crypto altcoin market??? like our devteam/coreteam always says, sdc is not a company and doesnt owe us anything...

".....As long as you plan on keeping your money in the market for 10 years or more... and as long as you buy great stocks for great prices... a falling market shouldn't cause you anxiety.
It should cause you delight..."

and comparing with apple chart is really funny...even while apple price was low, it was a company in the end...we should not mix apples and oranges

Skip you've already displayed your ignorance by making post after post based on essentially your own home-spun version of the Efficient Market Hypothesis:

and like i always say, price tells the truth....but normal people like we will learn that truth when it is too late

"Critics have blamed the belief in rational markets for much of the late-2000s financial crisis."

How anyone who's been in crypto for any time can say that the prices always accurately reflect value is beyond me. Week after week we see shitcoin after shitcoin pumped to high heaven. According to this principle Fuelcoin is currently the 13th best cryptocurrency in the world. Fuelcoin. That says about all that needs to be said about the collective wisdom of the altcoin market.

The principles in the article I quoted apply just as much to investments in altcoins. Your buy-high, panic, panic, complain, panic, then sell-low strategy... however, is not one I'd recommend to others.

SDC sell(value 5 BTC) every hour, and lasted for a week.
So big dump. This is to let a person crazy to sell.
I see the price of the DRK is so stable, why do we have such a large floating.

If you knew SDC is the real deal and the market had such low volume... would you create panic sellers and shake down the market to grab 100k + more sdc at a super cheap price. To eventually buy alll the sell walls back up right before the big release?

would you?

Heres a look back when dark was just a baby.

Date/time    Type    Operation    BTC/DRK    DRK/BTC
2014-02-17 07:08:01    Bought    101.07900426 DRK for 0.20215801 BTC    0.002    500
2014-02-17 07:08:01    Bought    1000 DRK for 2 BTC    0.002    500
2014-02-17 07:08:01    Bought    3.23302587 DRK for 0.00643372 BTC    0.00199    502.51256281
2014-02-17 07:06:51    Bought    1000 DRK for 1.5 BTC    0.0015    666.66666667

2014-02-17 07:06:51    Bought    50 DRK for 0.074 BTC    0.00148    675.67567568
2014-02-17 07:05:12    Bought    500 DRK for 0.5 BTC    0.001    1000
2014-02-17 07:05:12    Bought    1000 DRK for 1 BTC    0.001    1000
2014-02-17 07:05:12    Bought    1000 DRK for 1 BTC    0.001    1000

Gotta be patient guys. Look at that date. Feb 17th

It takes a long time for a healthy rise

So for those Jimmies out there who are feeling like this.

Heres a look at apple

Wow such big dip before big rise. Smart people knew how to handle the market.
So hold on strong fellas. This ones a crazy ride.

All this price talk is bad. What should be discussed is the technology and the development of the project. One rule I have is if the discussion is mainly about the price, then it is going no where.

Seriously anyone who is here only for a quick money grab should just leave this thread. Stake your investment and check on the thread once every week or month. Let the developers develop. If you can bring nothing to the table and only whine about the price then you are not helping and just creating a negative environment. Most of you here couldn't even write a simple 'hello world' program in C let alone understand how complicated a cryptocurrency codebase is. Just let the devs do their thing and relax.

If the price is so important to you that you can't resist posting about it then you more than likely have too much money invested and should exit.

To the devs: ignore the price talk focus on development. You've attracted people's attention from the technology you're developing, not the price.

To everyone else: If you can't help in any way: don't post.

Well said, wise words. I think this probably sums up how most of the more level-headed shadow holders feel.

I wish I knew that the first time I traded some weird altcoins..

But as rustynailer nicely put, I feel really confident about Shadow. Too bad I already spent my trading "budget".

If you believe you know someone who is able to call the market's ups and downs, just wait a little longer... They'll soon be wrong.
