It won't be.  This is obviously beyond their capabilities to handle.  I just want to make sure I am first in line to receive my funds as it will be an epic shit storm in a day or two's time and the reality that it's not coming back gains some momentum.  How can you believe that there is:

A.  An attack at all, let alone one they can't handle
B.  They are completely stumped on solutions
C.  2 days time is not ample to develop/hire help to provide solutions

It just doesn't make sense.  Yes, I don't quite understand the gravity of an attack like this, I don't know much about coding or networking.  But I do know that I am a customer of a service, and the service has been unavailable in excess of two days now.  As a consumer, I can choose to do business with who I choose, and complain when I feel taken advantage of.  I just want my money out of the site and I will be on my way.  That's it.

You'll get your money off the site.

How can I believe:

A.  I have seen it happen before.  At seals and elsewhere.  This is a DDoS attack.  It's obvious really.
B.  The solution to DoS is not always simple.  It might involve server migration or a new host.  SWC is most likely not running on a shared server.  So they are responsible for all security.  That involves databases, hashed passwords, private keys and so on.
C.  Since SWC is (most likely) and X man shop (where x=<5) there is just no way they can go fixing this willy nilly.  They have to discover/implement/test/repeat.

It takes time.

It almost always takes more time than you thought it would.

I personally understand you are concerned about your BTC.

May I ask how many chips you have on the site?

I believe he has 4 to 500 chips .  I feel for him but like you said don't keep more on the site then you can afford to lose obv. If 500 chips is that life altering probably shouldn't be playing at all imo.

Last response before you go on ignore, you retarded newbie piece of shit.  First, improve the world a bit.  Get cancer and die.

Second, they could be down two weeks and only process cashouts then, and they'd still be faster at cashing out than half the fucking poker sites out there, which send you a goddamn check in a month if you're lucky, which bounces half the time and then you have to harass them for another.

Finally, I have yet to lose any money from a poker site, even the shady ones.  Sorry that's been your experience, but you're obviously a fucking loser at poker and at life, so that's been your run of luck.  Life must suck when you're an abject gibbering mongoloid piece of genetic garbage, as you obviously are.

Seals has had hurdles like this before, and has always, every single fucking time, more than made it up to the players when they came back up.  So seriously, go eat shit.  Seals has an excellent track record, and all you have are track marks, you degenerate.

Continue having a shit life.

Your clearly tied to this site somehow you fucking scum.  Your a POS wannabe.  No doubt all I said was true.  You are a broke POS loser that CAN'T pay your player account balances.  Your site is finished,  I for one will post this on my several dozen bonus sites.  I will reach millions with this story.  Your site is going on my blacklist.  There are only 5 sites on that list including you now.  My readers know how serious that is as I reserve it for only the most seriously corrupt organizations.  Welcome to the blacklist of one of the top 5 largest bonus listing website groups dear sir.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS PEOPLE. USE YOUR BRAIN.  PLEASE SEE MY UPDATE TOMORROW.  YOU SHOULD BE GAMBLING ON POKER. NOT ON WHETHER YOU WILL BE COLLUDED AGAINST (WHICH HERE IS A SURE THING) AND YOU SHOULD NOT BE GAMBLING ON WHETHER A SITE WILL PAY YOU.  NOW WE HAVE THE OWNER SAYING IT IS OKAY FOR IT TO TAKE 2 WEEKS TO PAY PEOPLE WITH A HIGHLY VOLATILE E-"CURRENCY".  BRAINS PEOPLE, BRAINS. IF IT SOUNDS, SMELLS AND LOOKS LIKE A RAT IT IS.  MY SITES CALLED EVERLEAF GAMING A SCAM MONTHS BEFORE IT WAS PROVEN, WE BROKE THE STORY ON AP/UB AND THESE GUYS ARE IN THE SAME BOAT.  I ACTUALLY CONSIDER THEM WORSE SINCE AGAIN, THEY ARE ANONYMOUS.

I would also say that you are probably a loser who plays in the freerolls and has nothing or peanuts tied up right now.
lol

Just keep spewing that grossly misinformed/misguided tilt.

All these cheap fucks had to do was pay a fucking DDoS mitigation service company a few hundred bucks a month to prevent this attack and yet you continue to take Micon's shaft up your ass.  You really must be a shit coated, cock sucking fag.   If they can't spend a nominal amount of money preventing such a primitive attack, what makes you think they can pay a rush on BTC deposits?  Dummy.   I would bet they do not have the money to cover all of their player balances.  It's tougher to fake that with btc than USD.  Pyramid scheme caught up to them.

Dear bitches:  STFU!

I've done my own fair share of complaining, but do you have to spam the forum 24/7 with nonstop goddamn whining?

At least I can fit my gripes into one or two bullet points and then shut up.  I.e.

  • ClownFlare.  Really?
  • It'd be nice if you guys came up with a way to process BTC with the site offline and then batch the transactions when it came back up.

I'll also note that much bigger sites have been down much longer under DDoS.  League of Legends was rendered basically unplayable for weeks as a result of one of these a couple years ago.  And of course, Anonymous has taken down some of the larger websites out there, including national government websites all over the world.  If it were possibly simply to snap your fingers and magically end a DDoS, don't you think a government would be able to do it?

The major problem in DDoS mitigation isn't any one technical issue.  It's that the bad guys always get the first move.  If that doesn't work, then they get the second, third, fourth move until they come up with something that takes your site down.  So you're always in reaction mode.

Your missing the point.  Give people their money back while you are down if they want it.  Plain and simple.  You lose all credibility when you are anonymous and do not do that.  Your giving them to much credit.   This is a small site.  This was certainly not some HUGE DDOS attack,  not when the site is so small.  Odds are it was relatively small and their security was just that bad.  No excuse for it.   DDOS become larger and more sophisticated the larger your site becomes.  It is economics.  Do you understand those at all?   They are not going to waste a ton of resources to demand 50 bitcoins.  It was a small attack that they could not handle.  Very sad.  They gambled with your money.  I hope they blow yours at the blackjack table first.  The can just shut down and open up the next anonymous poker room with everybody's deposits now.  And you, the dumb fuck you are will bend over for the new site too.   The get the rake,  you all payed to build it.

Nobody legit, and in their right mind would trust these scumbags after this.

After being DDoSed?  Like practically every other Bitcoin site at some point?  Are you fucking retarded?  How does being the victim of a DDoS say anything at all about their trustworthiness?

As for other criticisms, such as the shitware they're running, those points are valid.  But there's no level of "security" that is going to get around a high volume DDoS, and if you think otherwise, you're a fucking idiot.  Bank service sites have been taken down by DDoS for days at a time.  Do you think they're not paying top dollar for the best security they can get?

It just doesn't make sense.  Yes, I don't quite understand the gravity of an attack like this, I don't know much about coding or networking.  But I do know that I am a customer of a service, and the service has been unavailable in excess of two days now.  As a consumer, I can choose to do business with who I choose, and complain when I feel taken advantage of.  I just want my money out of the site and I will be on my way.  That's it.
Imagine that you try to go to your bank to get money, but there a gunmen/police surrounding the premises. In that scenario, imagine that you're screaming at the bank employees that you're a customer and you demand that they give you money immediately. Silly, right? They have more pressing matters and your whining won't get you money any quicker. Be patient. This isn't the bank's fault. Let the situation resolve. You'll get paid.

Oh, and if you're freaking out this much, plan better in the future.

The guy has every right to complain you moron.  The situation you describe is not anything like Sealswithclowns deciding to take unlimited deposits with SHIT security.  First they have a database hack, now a DDOS attack.  The guy has every right to demand his money.  I have no money tied up in this site.  Collusion in known to occur at a feverish pace at this site.  If they can not invest in security to protect their players that I certainly would not put cheating their ANONYMOUS player base out of their capabilities.   The site is a joke.  If you deposit money into a site which proves it does not care about security, which looks like it is running a $10 Walmart software application, and has owners who are completely untraceable to run off with you UNTRACEABLE deposits, then you are asking for trouble.  This site is a stepping stone.  I better one will come along and wipe this shithole out of business.  In my honest opinion, after this, only colluding cheaters would return to the site. Nobody legit, and in their right mind would trust these scumbags after this.  Bitcoin is volatile.  They should absolutely process manual withdrawals, this is the result of their negligence, not the result of some mentally ill gunman walking in and robbing them (like in your preposterous example).  I mean really, that is the best you can do?

I would say that at the very least they should promise to add chips to make players whole in the event btc goes down over the course of this fiasco.  I would say that,  but I do not trust the scumbags to bide by their word anyway.

I would also say that you are probably a loser who plays in the freerolls and has nothing or peanuts tied up right now.  Not that it is the point,  if you have $1 or $1,000,000 tied up in their, it the point.  It is the guys money, GIVE IT TO HIM.   You must be one of those affiliate losers?  It is not uncommon for poker players (especially in the US) to keep their ENTIRE roll in a poker site.   Nobody assumes a site is running such shitty software that a retard and a smartphone can make it inoperable.  It is unimaginable.  I do not want to here about this happening to 888 in 2000.  THAT WAS 15 YEARS AGO MICON.   They did not have the technology we have today. It is INEXCUSABLE and all you are doing is MAKING EXCUSES.  How is it obvious this is a DDOS attack?  Cause Micon says so?  You suck his cock or is he sucking yours?   Who is to say they are not at the fucking casino freerolling your money away right now?  After all, if they lose it is untraceable, not like that matters.  Not like a poker site never went bankrupt and fucked everybody before?  LOL...

Micon, you've lied to us about the comeback time.  I've requested my money and my withdrawal three times now.  Please allow me to take my money off the site.  This has entirely been too long and you said yourself they would start processing manual withdrawals if the site was down for more than 48 hours.  Thank you.

Holy fvck.

He never lied.  He gave a couple hopeful estimates with giant disclaimers.

If you are keeping more money than you are comfortable losing on SWC then you are keeping too much money on there.  Or you care too much about the money.

They will be back.  I bet in less than a day.
