It is simple math, their affiliate stuff hasn't changed (20% for life).

The old site ending in .com had roughly 100-200 visits a day, that equated to X number of sign ups per day and a $XX,XXX per year in btc revenue (proven).

This name will be no different, all estimated of course

Why anyone can say the exact match name in dot com with good natural traffic and affiliate conversion potential is worthless or worth just X shows how little they actually know.

Wow just read this. Yeah no one would even pay more than 1 BTC for it. It seems to be completely useless.

Hopefully the "mac" version will run on GNU/Linux desktops as well.  Their last linux release probably would have run on OSX as well since it was just a python program.  Yah, Micon, don't forget that some of us don't do the MicroSoft thing (we keep our computers as free of shit, just as you do with your bitcoin wallets).

I gaurantee you nobody will ever pay that much. Its just crazy and no way will it ever generate that much money.

I am waiting for the browser version as well. Micon did say that the browser and the mac version will come out after windows and should happen soon.

Ok, so I'm stoked that the new seals started up but I'm incredibly bummed that it's only for Windoze ppl now.  There is no ability to play in a browser, to play on android, or on any desktop other than Windoze.  In my opinion, this puts seals with clubs back into the stone age of all the other poker sites that only support windoze and guess what, I don't have windoze and I've never played them.

So sad.

Math does make sense if the same volume is played as price rises however you are also correct that would hit a ceiling at which point it did not as players would simply play less coin. So one may see a increase for a short time then flattening out or adjust as players adjusted habit for value. The same may be said of a price drop I suppose.

So yes good catch sir but the valuation was based on todays value any ways $200-$300 BTC. 

At the current time the math makes sense minus potential increase due to BTC increasing but rather I should have stated popularity (more sign ups/players) WILL increase revenue.

Math doesn't add up - as BTC increases, players simply play smaller mBTC games, since, effectively, they are thinking in USD.  Exercise: Set BTC at $10K.  You think the player base will float up with it so that rake will go up 40X from here??  This, of course, is even without considering their caps policies.  for NL it's min(.005 BTC, 3BB).  So even as BTC rises, rake maxes out very quickly.

So looks like Crypto stole one here!

Here's some early comments after several hours of play and general hanging around the site last 24 hours.
Notwithstanding the pretty slick UI - I mean, how cool is it to be able to choose from 6 different carpets and card-back colors!? - there's some serious holes:
No browser client.
No showdown info. 
No running rake totals during hand.
No game info - Mavens was always the leader with this - you could see exactly what you were getting into regarding rake rates and caps, buyins, time banks and more. 
Speaking of Mavens: One of the strongest reasons to use their game engine is the RNG - fully documented on their site, and fully testable by doing your own sims (which my co. has done). And along with this are the millions of hands that have been played with this engine by their huge non-RM and home-poker user base.  Just check out their Forum to see the depth and quality.  Note: We absolutely have NOTHING to do with Mavens.   

Of course, these shortcomings and questions may be moot for the Grid system Micon is using,  but then why not provide them up front.  I can assure you that if they are still in the development pipeline, time and treasure are not on their side with mini-micro games.  With these shortcomings I can't see serious grinders giving him the volume needed.

Also, their communications don't provide much reassurance either. For example, the SWC FAQ:

Reads like it was composed a stoner or someone with English as a 3rd language.  Apart from the grade-school layout, it's unclear, for example, what the HU rules are for Limit and No Limit unless, unlike 3+ games, they are now the same?)  Simple matrix layout is what's needed.

Played some plo couple of things I noticed when all in hu on flop cards are not shown and then doesn't tell you what hand won in the description can this be changed? If can include statistics that show money won or lost at each ring game would be great also.

You guys are right, it's worthless, things that will make you money and need no rank effort or advertisement to generate unique type in visits targeted to your product are worthless.

That specific domain has nothing going for it. It's not special. If you just want to rank, rank for "swc poker" using the domain "urafloppydonkey.com" and you'll have the same success.
