Agree that indeed when we invest in bitcoin we do not actually need to sell it to buy bitcoin because this also provides losses. better when you want to invest we can share it on bitcoin and partly on altcoin as our portfolio

for trading I usually sell bitcoin with USDT or altcoin that I'm trading. but for fiat I think not because I have decided to trade and only take profits that I get.

You are doing the right job, most of the people will convert their Bitcoin to buy low valued altcoins. They are not bothering about the Bitcoin price because as long as the price of Bitcoin is increasing, altcoin prices are kept decreasing here we are absorbing reversal. So it is good to hold in Bitcoin instead of converting them to altcoins.

If I've enough bitcoin, then i would decided to buy fiat as because of future safety & security. Sometimes we should have thought about our future. I am not going to exchange Bitcoin for any other cryptocurrency, even if the price of BTC is decreasing. BTC is the most valuable cryptocurrency and it have the highest potential among these currencies, and it is not making sense for me to sell it for an altcoin. But I do selling BTC sometimes for fiat, when I need money in real life.

I rather hold Btc than sell Btc to buy altcoin. Wrong decision with alts can rid me of my Btc holdings but staying in Btc enables me keep safe what I have in Btc.
I will not sell bitcoin just to buy altcoin, bitcoin has a very good growth compared to altcoin which is very slow movement
But if you choose the potential Altcoin that is in top 10 in Coinmarketcap site then profit will also be easy will we get. But now it is not the right time to buy Altcoin because we can see that there are no fantastic price movements from Altcoin.

Bitcoin is always the king. If you believe in crypto,,, you have to first believe in Bitcoin. That is not something to negotiate about. I do of course hold other altcoins, this is for sure, but only a few that I also believe in, and all these coins in general do not compete with Bitcoin (Litecoin, Monero for example) and in fact support Bitcoin as brothers do.
For me altcoins are a very far away gamble.
