Well for me i do not think that smartphones will die within the 10 year range. In my opinion smarthphone within 10 years now will evolve into more hightech feature. And all of us will be using smartphone because it helps us in our daily needs with the help of internet connections , and even without the computer there will always be the smartphone for us to use.
Regular consumers don't really care about things you state. And since regular consumers decide in majority I don't think smartphones are dying any time soon. At most they will evolve into something else.
SERIOUSLY? i dont think so because smartphone are now very popular and peole need it for everyday use. We can use it at school, work and even to communicate with our love ones in other country so whats the reason for smartphones to die? Maybe there are disadvantages of it for the children, but we as a parents are responsible to them, we should give them limitations in using gadgets.
I think smartphone will remain in the market in a long time. Because there are so many consumer yhat buying it. As long as there are people who are buying smartphones it will not die.

I agree! They will just advancing the technology. They will do research that modify the smartphone that were using now. Technology is innovative. It will never end. Because of the advancement of technology now a days it will never happen. Most of us is using smart phone. We all know why smart phone is in demand because it’s easy to use. Do you seriously think that smartphones will die and their place will be occupied by ordinary phones? It would be more logical to assume that the place of smartphones will be replaced by more technically advanced devices, which are not yet on the market.

I don't think so, smartphones become bigger and bigger and can manipulate personal computer. For now, phones are better than pc and it has more good features than anything. In my perspective as you see the world, they cannot live without smartphones that's why it cannot die easily unless it can kill you as easy that it can. Smartphones is not a waste and there are something more feature things come soon.

I dont think smartphones will die. People are already depending on smartphones. Maybe you smartphones' old models maybe out of fashion or will be phased out, but there are always new innovations from samsung or apple companies.

For example London is getting uglier (no phone sheds) due to mobile phone revolution. I suggest everyone if you want to join the protest switch to basic phone for 3 days.

Smartphones won't have gone anywhere in ten years. You haven't really provided any arguments at all why smart phones will die other than you don't like them. Nobody is going to carry around a tablet just to browse the internet. Phones as they are currently are perfect and very convenient for people whilst you're on the go. I would only take a tablet out with me if I knew I was going on any long trips such as on trains or planes etc.

More and more people are depending upon smartphones to browse the internet. Most of us don't have spare time to do net browsing at home. So most of the browsing is done while we are travelling, and tablets / laptops are not ideal for this purpose.
