reboot does nothing. listed commands in help don't seem to be working either. what does the green led on the  board away from the fan near the exhaust symbolize should their be one on  both sides I can only get the one  the right side if your looking at fan to light up ( I guess this is the first board because it powers the controller?)

I got that too but I don't think that seems to make a difference since I get no other errors when I followed kano's steps to update cgminer. Still for cgminer it will be nice when its in the package manager since at least on mine the version doesn't show up for the updated version in the gui software area.
so the update didn't help

I apparently didn't notice any changes . I'm sure there is but I set it up it runs and I get speeds I'm expecting

alias: -1 not found
root@Jason:~#

this is what I get logging in
This is just an error in profile file for an alias. Don't care about it.
When you get this message then you are in Cheesy
how do I reboot from there see if it helps to get a hash rate going?

I'm sure there's supposed to be a way to see cgminer through ssh but you could call "reboot" from ssh though I think everything didn't come back up right in the gui when I called for a reboot from there.

Zero hash rate but pool says alive, lstime says never, have some getwork, some discarded , some local work?Huh Faulty miner??
I get that every so often on my 90 ant - so my monitor pops up a message on my screen.
Restarting it always solves it for me.
(I just login via ssh and 'reboot')
YMMV
what program do you use for ssh is this putty? Im a little bit computer illiterate not completely though and learning fast
I don't use windows.
But putty seems to be the preferred choice for windows users.
it wont let me login with putty
How to login ... plus other stuff ...
https://github.com/kanoi/cgminer-binaries/tree/master/AntS1
thanks ill give it a try

still cant login...  at password cant tell that anything is input on the line

Maybe my mining room is still cool tempered but I have this and the listed hashing speed hasn't hit a major slip though I did it more to calm down the intake fan though the titan fan I listed above will be installed since it has the 4 pin controller till I find something else that's quiet. I already solve the led being too bright and that only took some electrical tape over the led. http://www.avadirect.com/product_details_parts.asp?PRID=12213

If the heat sync curved up I would have tried to exhaust upward and probably not have to worry about wind resistance and such.
