People who have multiple miners, how do you have them plugged in? And what do you have them plugged into? I had 4 miners in a power strip, but they tripped the protection after awhile. Just curious as to what you all are doing....

4 ants shouldn't trip a 110v 15 amp power strip. You might need to get more efficient power supplies if you are tripping the strip, or a different strip.
They can. It all depends on the application, and the power strip. If the Ants are drawing 400W at the plug, that's 1600W. If the voltage at the plug is 105V (which is possible with a 15A draw if the run of wire is long enough) you'll be over 15A.
A standard power strip might also not take kindly to being run at or near 15A constantly, and could easily nuisance trip. You should derate it the same way you would a normal circuit breaker.
