I can tell you about the first bitcoin investment. I bought a very small amount of bitcoin. Now let me explain the problem I'm facing. I've been conned. It's a fiasco. I became a member of the Ponzi system. But I really thought they were mining. Then it's a complete failure. My money's gone.

I first heard about btc from friend but didn't think it's something serious and important so forgot about it.
Year or two later I heard how much money my friend made from btc and that also some merchants accepting btc so became interesting to learn and understand more.
Now,  I really feel sorry I didn't join right away but I can't change it any more.
My first btc I earned from signature campaign.

Most experience starts from the friendship environment, I also first learned about bitcoin from my friends who have been active in bitcoin for a long time. after that I began to be interested because it can make money, and finally he was willing to teach me until now he was still kind to me

I keep saying to those people who discovered Bitcoin from their friends is that they are thankful enough because they do have that kind of friends, I would also be thankful to my friend because if it is not to him, I am still just an ordinary college student or worst, I might not enter college school due to lack of financial to sustain my school needs.

Of course I'm very grateful to my friend and will never forget his kidness and support.
Honestly,  I'm very skeptic if I find something on Internet and without help from my friend,  I don’t think I would decide to start my journey with bitcoin. 😀

Was reading about how Bitcoin first came into existence and people's first experiences with Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, etc on Reddit. I want to know how your guy's first experiences was with Bitcoin, and if you ever had any regrets or wins throughout the years. Also, would be cool to know how people first actually got Bitcoin back nearly a decade ago when it wasn't as easy as buying some from a local Bitcoin ATM near you.
i discover bitcoin thru social media because many people are sharing about it
i study how it works and learn that you can earn it by doing simple task with or without investment
if you compare it today its really easy to earn some bitcoin in the past
but im not getting discourage about it because there is a possibility
that this small amount that i can earn today will be worth more in the future the same what happen in the past

Started to know Bitcoin at 2013, at that day I didn't even realize and felt didn't care with bitcoin because I was gaming freak at that moment and I felt like Bitcoin was just wasting my time because the price was really low at that money and I had no passion to even learn about that.

And then, guess what? I regret about my decision back on that day, If I had to come back to that day I would have slapped my face so hard.
my experience is kinda same as yours. even I was a blogger. and trying to find new ways to make money. but never really give attention to bitcoin before 2016.
Bitcoin's price is very high comparing to 2013 right now . but it's still not so late for those who still want to jump into it. because bitcoin price will go way more higher then now. some experts even predicted that bitcoin will reach to $200,000 in future. so try to accumulate as much as possible before it's too late.

I have started by checking some specific fauceters from some ads i received.

Then found out inside those fauceters Primedice Casino and joined it.
Started gambling, learned alot of new stuff about Bitcoin such as how to withdraw, addresses, wallets, what were exchangers and how could i get btc to fiat and vice versa.

Had some difficulties in gambling and trading on start but then got hust to and was very good experience to achieve at what i am now.

Also started reading more news about cryptocurrencies so that i could be aware of what could motivate both prices rise and drops.

cool story bro  . not you but i see majority of users here were also started as a faucet claimer but of course that includes me as i also started to lurk on faucet sites to earn dust/peanuts  but eventually i got tired  so i step up the game from learning other stuffs on how can i earn a little bit more of cryptos . thankfully i stumbled upon on different paying sites including on this forum   . thankfully that my efforts are paid off as i still earn some cryptos until now despite the fall of the price  .
My first sathosis are came from faucets. When I was a newbie in the market , I thought that faucet is worth it and I can earn big amount of a bitcoin. After 1 week I only earn about $2 and I found out that my effort are just waste of time. I found this forum when I searching in the internet. I get curious and I started to read different threads and it helps me to understand more and have a lot of knowledge about cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin.

My first experience with btc was where I started my career as a marketing manager in one of the ICOs of 2017. They paid me bonuses in crypto. I decided not to exchange my btc in fiat and invest in some tokens: tether, ether and xrp. And 80% of my bonuses still were in btc. That's how I've started my crypto portfolio.

The first time I learn about Bitcoin was back in early of 2016.
I learn it from a group about DeepWeb since I am curious about all the things back then,
Then after I heard of it I got a little curious about it and tried to do my own research then I earn from it so I continue until I got into this forum.

My first experience with Bitcoin was 3 years ago when i decided to earn some free coins from faucet. That was the first time i heard about Bitcoin and then i started studying about trading, now Bitcoin is a part of my main income.

I  started Bitcoin too when I got scammed then I posted my frustration in facebook then my friend in my childhood saw my post and started introducing the forum to me, since I was very frustrated and eagerness to earn money, I decided to stepped in here and learn everything I need, and I was never disappointed, thanks to our concerned friends.

My first experience with cryptocurrency happened a few years ago. At the time, I bought with all the money LTC at the very top of the green candle. It was a discouraging experience. Why, I just had 300 bucks, and now I have two hundred. I started looking for my mistakes and eventually got my money back. In General, the FOMO syndrome, is one of the first that newcomers face coming to the crypto-currency market.

Some of the first encounter with bitcoin consists of positive and negative sides. I would like to share first the negative.

As the bitcoin becomes an emerging technology, of course people are too excited on its capability in the market. As well as some people who are inclined with illegal activities, I've heard an information from a  fried about a site that utilizes bitcoin for sure, offered by services and products. With that, follows my impression about bitcoin as something good people would not want to use.

Followed by some torrents sites I've viewed that has their bitcoin logo accompanied by the address that seeks for some donations in BTC. From time to time, we could see how bitcoin is finding its true value, and as of the moment, bitcoin already becomes a widely shared currencies with positive impressions from people around the world.
