Hi @playsherbet, I am curious since the discussion has been about an account that had been flagged associating with other sherbet accounts.  I wonder if there is any complication about this thing?  In case the flagged account had won a huge amount of money, are there any problems arising from being flagged associated with another account assuming that the account never claimed any bonuses?

Like all casinos, we have a very clear TOS, which all users must agree to when creating an account on Sherbet. The only time an account is EVER banned on our platform is if it breaches these terms.

We have a friendly, 24/7 support team who are capable of explaining terms to you if you are ever confused. I'm not sure what case you're referring to, but we only ban players if we have 100% confidence from multiple team members that a ban is warranted. Most times, we will warn players they are in breach or attempt to steer them in the right direction.

Sherbet is built by players, for players, and we take pride in ensuring we treat everyone fairly.
Big ups to Sherbet's swift and confident handling of these situations. Clear TOS is indeed a #MajorKey to a fair gaming environment. Banning only when 100% waranted, and the democratic agreement of multiple team members? That's the kind of consensus-based decision-making that I stan!

But LOL, let's not beat around the blockchain here. Having a flagged account associated with a winning account could raise questions. It's a sticky wicket, especially when no bonuses have been claimed. However, if there are no TOS breaches, then it's smooth sailing, right? Besides, with the Sherbet 24/7 support crew, there's no room for FOMO or confusion.

Thank you for the kind words!

Thank you for the prompt reply, as I go through to check the TOS about the multi-accounting issue, yes I find that it is ground for an account to get blocked and fund confiscated.

You are only allowed to have one Sherbet Account. If you attempt to open more than one Sherbet Account, all your accounts may be blocked, suspended, or closed, and any cryptocurrency/balances credited to your account/s will be frozen or removed.

So in case there is an accident of double registration, is it ok for the player to request to shut down or close his other account and he will be free of this breach?
Their term is clear.

If you as a user, are worrying about accidentally double registration, you can go first, proactively send a support ticket to Sherbet team to ask their support. Before you use your new account to use on Sherbet.

I think forget our account is possible if we don't use one platform too long time but ignoring all risk and creating a new account to use, with money deposited in a new account, is not good in risky control. I believe the platform recorded user login information, IP address and if you proactively ask it in a support ticket, they can help you to find your past account, from your IP address.

You can decide to recover your old account or ask them to wipe it and make your new account as the only account you have on Sherbet.

Did you use a free VPN?

With a free VPN, you will more possibly get that problem because you can share a same IP address with other people. You can prove it later but it will need customer support from the Sherbet team.

Free VPN has poor encryption too.
It's a free VPN. I usually use TOR connection to access the sites where I want to keep myself anonymous but some of the gambling sites do not work properly on TOR, for them I use VPN. I am not a regular gambler too so hardly go for paid subscription unless I really need it for any project or business.

By the way, after registration, it was showing me some warnings. I don't think I have created any account before but the system is telling me I did 😉

We can't wait to have you on Sherbet.com - we think you'll love it.

When you deposit, reach out to our 24/7 support team via live chat and tell them Ryhs sent you from Bitcoin Talk. I'll credit our account with a free bonus!
As planned I created an account earlier today. Then I was looking for your sports section until I realized you don't have it yet LOL.
I was planning to place bets on Champions League final. As usual I went with one of my favorite which is sportsbet.io.

I am not a fan of slots and casino by the way. So until you have sportsbook added with your system I will wait. By the way, after registration, it was showing me some warnings. I don't think I have created any account before but the system is telling me I did 😉

What is your catch?
I will use VPN
I don't want to give away any personal information, not even a phone number.

Do you have an offer for me?

Thank you in advance.

There is no catch, and our bonus terms are clearly linked to in the bonus banner when you sign up. We don't hide terms or try to deceive customers - we're super transparent at Sherbet.
I haven't gone through the other pages but does this means that sherbet is okay with the usage of VPN. It's like a typical concern of many gamblers if it comes to this.

It seems that you guys are friendly and you are transparent for giving such magnificent offer to some members here. And with such bonuses, I am sure that many are eyeing on it with regards to what you've said.

Just wow.

Glad to know it. I will give it a try in the next few days.

I was too excited on my last round [It's a type of my habit I discovered. I don't gamble for weeks or months or even years and then I feel lucky to try gambling. I call it seasonal sessions. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose in these sessions]. I see a good opportunity in the coming CL final match. Hopefully I will be gambling with you on the 10th 😉

We have an award-winning, 24/7 support team who looks into every player and their activity alongside our proprietary fraud tools. We're 100% confident when it comes to issuing bonuses and banning accounts.
The last casino I registered offered 100% deposit bonus up to $200 but the catch was [I was not aware at all], I will need to give them my personal information. Somehow I manged to get a pass not to give my name, location address etc but eventually they asked my phone number to receive bonus. It made me frustrated and effected my mood of betting too. Lost all the deposits LOL. But overall experience with the casino was really good so I will not discourage anyone to play with them.

This tech-sleuthing can allow casinos to spot repeat offenders, those sneakily registering multiple accounts from the same gadget, circumventing the ol' IP address and cookie restrictions. But this does paint a moral quandary: is device fingerprinting a necessary sentinel guarding fair play and responsible gambling, or does it leapfrog over the fences of privacy?
When we visit a site, most of the site have their privacy and terms. They also provide us a cookie policy to accept or deny. According to the setup whether it's cookie policy to accept or described in their terms without giving an option to accept or deny, a user automatically is agreeing with their privacy and policy when they are registering. The court will speak for them, and they are protected.

As per my knowledge the casino and sportsbook use many indicators that are beyond our imaginations to protect their businesses. Even when we are receiving an email from them about a bonus or any kind of promotion, they are keeping log of when the emails are opened, where it was open, what IP was used. So may be we are using their site with VPN but opening an email from our WiFi IP means they know our VPN IP and WiFi IP. Then there are those customer support tools. When we are using them to contact with the casino, these tools are also keeping log of possible everything.

Let's try to get the topic back to Sherbet and our offering rather than other websites.

Ever consider device fingerprinting, rather than just IP addresses and browser histories, as a casino's Sherlock Holmes? Device fingerprinting is akin to a private investigator combing through the digital DNA of your gadget. It's like an invisible barcode, unique as a snowflake, transmitted each time your device taps into a website. We're talking the minutiae here, like the operating system, device type, the screen's resolution - the works!

I have never considered device finger print sensor to be a good means of identifying the individual behind the device, but taking second thought, if everything can go well to the point that the security team can verify the individual behind the fingerprint and separate the DNA, it will go a long way to prevent such problem as multiple accounting and the rest of the what have you.

Between let's see if any member here will go further to make sure that every fingerprint is linked to an individual and identifiable.

But then even if one is using public wifi it's still possible for the casino to detect whether or not those ips belong to same person using their browser histories but then not all gamblers enable cookies on the browser and that could hinder the casino greatly, but then if the casino discovered such prance like double registration, it becomes best to just request KYC from the player in other to avoid getting players punished just because there used public wifi to access the casino.
