If I think in short-term trading and investment is good and it depends on the trader's mindset and his skills that we take seriously and develop as a better trader from there. Therefore, everyone has to decide for themselves. Every investment has its advantages. The main thing is to be confident in the company where we invest.
Most of the cases, technical analysis are always strong at your end. They are amazing to give you a broader way of thinking that what are ifs and buts that must be considered before taking any decision. short term trade is profitable but require a lot of time and trading skills,day trading is more risky compare to long-term trade, long-term trade is more profitable and dont require a lot of experience
I prefer long-term investment. A few days ago I had invested my money into Polymath coin. today it's in huge pump already sold my coin. I just buy them and hold them in my personal wallet. when I found the coin price is increased I just deposited them and sold them. it was a long-term investment.

I actually prefer long term investment because it will allow the market to make all the need corrections and progress. Short term is to risky for me and I always thought it to be gambling. Short term investing comes with a lot of risks in this declining market. You really need to be able to read charts and understand all the fundamentals for each investment you are making. Long term is better as it affords you the time to take huge profits overtime with rest of mind
It depends what coin/asset i trade. In BTC it's long hodling and selling on big pumps. On alts it's mid/ short because pumps are much often.
I believe that at this point you should only invest in the short term, you can see that the market is fluctuating continuously and very hard to guess, bitcoin prices are constantly adjusting and rising in the days near the line but the price of altcoin is very strong. Therefore, I believe that you should only invest in the short term to reduce the risk. 
I think I prefer to make long-term investments and I long-term investment by buying as much bitcoin as I can with bitcoin I'm sure bitcoin prices can be very expensive you can see the existing chart from year to year always experience price increases.
Long term and long term investment is not necesary, we are all looking for the called profit. And if chances occurs we don't have to wait for a verry long term just to gain the same profit, I believe in long term holding but if there will be a chance I will not hesitate to sell for good.
