It depends what coin/asset i trade. In BTC it's long hodling and selling on big pumps. On alts it's mid/ short because pumps are much often.
Personally been in and out of Nem over the years along with other projects however looking at stocking up more at this sweet spot range and thought I would share with the SCM community. Many new crypto investors buy projects at ATH to Mid range vs SAT value. Nem is a top 20 opportunity to purchase at a low SAT value per Nem token. Anyhow sorry if I upset anyone by providing what I thought would be a helpfull and safe trade/investment in gloomly times.
If I think in short-term trading and investment is good and it depends on the trader's mindset and his skills that we take seriously and develop as a better trader from there. Therefore, everyone has to decide for themselves. Every investment has its advantages. The main thing is to be confident in the company where we invest.
Most of the cases, technical analysis are always strong at your end. They are amazing to give you a broader way of thinking that what are ifs and buts that must be considered before taking any decision. If you don’t know what is the reality of scene and how can you make benefit of them at right time, then you could be able to make your results stronger and safer.
I didn't find myself in short time investment, it's too hard to predict the future move of the price and I fast moved in minus with my coins. So, for now I'm just collecting and waiting for 'moon' prices.
Short term investment can only be good for those who actually have a vast trading knowledge and can make use of indicators, a lot of technical analysis and quick decision making in the short term. It comes with a lot of risk but a lot of profit as well if done well.
Long is good as well, but it is the opposite of everything I have mentioned when compared to short, but the good thing about long is that you can actually be making loads of money easily without stress if you have more to invest.
I always prefer long term investments than short term because its less hassle for me. And the coins I go for long term are those that are here for some time now like bitcoin, ethereum and litecoin.
Between athousand digital asset in the market now in my opinion the most better one for investment is Bitcoin because this coin has strongest community, and for Bitcoin is good to use it for long term investment because the price still possible to go to more than 10 times more. I have prediction the price of Bitcoin will be going up to 10 times more in less than 1 years. And for others altcoin is better to use it for short invesment because the price just like pump and dump.

At this time I think you can invest in long-term bitcoin, can see that the market is constantly fluctuating and difficult to guess, bitcoin prices are constantly adjusting but altcoin prices are constantly reducing Very strong and there are no signs of recovery, so I think that at this point you should only short-term investment to reduce risk. Long term investments is always better than a short term.But if you get lucky, some coins can fetch you profits within a short term but it is hard to detect that. When going for a coin, always choose an already established coin with good prospect and good community. Follow the DEV teams and find out what they are doing this will give you an idea is it is really worth investing for a long term.

Short term or long term are all good but doing it depends on your characteristics as a person. If you have more patience you can do a long term investment then if you are not willing to hold you can do a short term of investment.
It depends on the individual who is making the discission. One have to make research to be able ascertain weather it going to be a long term investment or Short term.

Yes, Everyone has their own style and is certainly tailored to their background. Short-term trading would be ideal for those who have more time in the crypto world. They can accumulate profits from price movements even in small ranges. While long-term trading is more suitable for those who are interested in crypto currency but do not have much free time to keep abreast of its development. Profit can be obtained when there is a significant price spike.
What I understand from bitcoin trading is that long term investment always wins. Let me explain, short term here usually means buy low, sell high <-- repeat this often, for example once a week or more often but sad fact is that it usually isn't profitable and it's very hard to predict anything, very risky and less profitable if you aren't super lucky. But on Long term, you don't care about low rise and fall, you wait for that moment when price rises a lot and it's pretty easy to catch this moment on long term.

Both are good. but short term can give me a regular profit.so why Now I am just trying to take regular profit so why I am doing the short-term trade. trade with decent and mgo is good now for short-term profit.
That is absolutely fine for you. If you think this is really helping you to make money, better to go for it. But majority cases are concerned to trading, long term trading. They are always making good efforts and thus good results are made. Things are going fine for them because their objectives and results are quite in same wavelength. But for those who aren’t satisfied with anything, go for something else.
For bitcoin long-term investment is the best choice. Nobody can ever expect good profit from the short-term investment if it is a coin related investment. Coins always have a stable trend. If it goes down and down then remain down for many days even years. Same things happen when coins going up. So if we want to invest in coins then I always recommend for long-term investment.
In real life, there are stocks that are good for long term investment there are stocks that are good for short term investment. Example are stocks that suddenly dropped due to negative news, if the company is really good I would buy stocks from them as long as there is a plan to clear their name and you'll see the stock will go back to normal. same thing with Cryptos, there are coins that are good for short term investment and there are also good for long term. If you have enough funds, you can play safe by going with both Long and Short term investment.

I prefer long-term investment because of the future perspective, I think day by day cryptocurrency is becoming a popular and potential platform so that cryptocurrency will bring a good change in the future. so long terms investment should be a good option for me.
In my own opinion, short term investment is more profitable than long term because you can always trade in the market in order to earn small profits while holding for a long term will not guarantee you to earn profit.
I saw the reply from others users and all is that which I thought before seeing all the comments. Yes, I saw most people prefer long-term investment or trading. And I am also a tune-up for those people who prefer for long trading. I think it could low risk than short-term trading. Even you don't panic after seeing the zig-zag market if you are for long trading.
Short term trading is more relevant with Altcoin and Litecoin while long term is of Bitcoin and Ethereum and we can start with anyone as there are no restrictions to start it. Investment mainly depends upon your savings situations if your savings are high then you can invest in the Bitcoin or Ethereum which will give you huge returns as it is long term so you will have to wait for the price to go high.
