If you have a lot of money then why not to take a risk. Let's face the truth that after bitcoin, ethereum is one good thing to invest with. Since its value now is not yet to high then it's also the right time to grab the opportunity....

IMO bitcoin still the best rather than ETH although Microsoft decide to use ETH but doesn't mean that ETH is better than bitcoin.
About the value , yes it's currently low but it's only the matter of time for ETH to beat BTC's value in the future ( but as always altcoin trading far more riskier than bitcoin trading )

Since its value now is not yet to high then it's also the right time to grab the opportunity. On the other hand, you must have at-least 3 options. First, divide your money into 3 top altcoins so that it will not to risky to invest. Second, bitcoin must always consider as it will give you more profit. Third is trading.

It's never good to invest all your money into one coin, or even a singular asset such as crypto. Best to diversify your portfolio.

I had another thought.  Better to divide your investment money into Ethereum ecosystem products, whether existing products or ICO.  This is still built on the Ethereum platform, so if you are a believer, you are still supporting it.  But, it lets you spread your risk.

I think is a nice idea. Ethereum is going up again after the decreasing wave. I believe that it will hit new peaks in 2018. Because it is one of basic altcoins which  creates the platform for the development of ICOs token.

This is not a good idea,if you are going to invest it in one coin, one big dip in ethereum you will be rekt that you wont recover from.
It is not a good idea at all. Despite I really believe that ethereum has a bright future ahead, it is never a good idea to invest all your money into a single instrument. you should always divide your risks.

Many posters here are right.  You need to think about taking care with your money and being diversified in investments.  MOON is rare.  Good ROI is more likely in a diversified investment portfolio.

Usually I don't recommend to invest in one coin and it is always safer to diversify your investment into different altcoin but if you are investing all your money in Ethereum then It should be okay because Ethereum is very solid altcoin with great team and community. I cant imagine how this coin can go wrong. Kittiescrypto which has become viral, it is based on Ethereum blockchain so I think more and more people will use Ethereum and make it mainstream.

If you are thinking of buying ethereum with all your money, you may be making a lots of mistake. That is not to say that ethereum will not increase in value. But how on earth would you be buying ethereum alone with all your money?

i see the future. ether will be 1k$ in 2018.  Cool

Etheruem has bright future for next year really but diversification is always better incase our expectations do not come to pass. If you have more money, you can look at litecoin too or you sell some fractions of your etheruem to buy bitcoin.  Litecoin has good prospects too for next year.
With the current value of bitcoin against ETH I think much preferred to hold as its was projected that ETH might goes up to that value, if you are a long term investor then go and place everything that you have and forget about your investment for a while so you wont panic just in case that some dip happen.

Not all, you should prioritize on investing on bitcoin but you should wait until bitcoin's price to stabilize before you actually investing on them because we won't know what would happen to their values.

It woukd be better if you'll be diversifying your investment with other coin. Bitcoin would be still a good and wise choice of investment for greater amount of money than any other coin. Etherium is still obe of thw most primising coin and I would not be surprise if it will really hit the market really hard in next year. Try to make wise allocation of your investment with different kind of coin, there are new coins which is really showing good track record and history.

I see that many of the people goes to investing on ethereum coin but that too not safe all funds in one coins. You can manipulate your investment in multiple cryptos that would be safe for huge investors. for example: If you have fund 10k USD fund in bitcoin alone, just split that money in monero, eth, etc, neo, waves and bch. Since these coins are most trusted and invested coin by the investors. Your stock will be safe for long time accordingly.

Well if i were you i would not put all of my money into only one coin. Ethereum will be good you are right but you can make much profit if you put your split your investments in couple of high potential coins.

Placing all the budget in one coin is a horrible idea, and this is very risky. Never do it, try to find at least couple of promising altcoins from the major ones, not the ico ones. This is the most suitable way of investing in altcoins, not only ether.

It's not a bad idea to buy ethereum. However it's better to buy ethereum with some of your money,  not all of it. Then you use some of them to buy bitcoin. I believe both of them will show an increasing price next year.

even though i don't see you losing money if investing in ETH i would be inclined to advise against investing all into the one coin. it's always good to have a back up plan IMO

If you see the future , why do you have to ask if you should buy ethereum with all your money. But i think its up to you if you want to use all your money in buying ethereum, just be aware of the things you do.

If you are a gambler you can do so. But it is not much different than putting all your money on a number at the roulette. What do you want? To earn money? To have fun? Addrenaline? Depends on your goals.

Just swap 20% or 30%  from your money into Ethereum. But never go all in into one coin, even when it is a strong one. You should always have some money for bad crypto times Wink
