Dont invest your money in just one coin,1 big dip and you are rekt consider buying btc too to be balanced.

It woukd be better if you'll be diversifying your investment with other coin. Bitcoin would be still a good and wise choice of investment for greater amount of money than any other coin. Etherium is still obe of thw most primising coin and I would not be surprise if it will really hit the market really hard in next year. Try to make wise allocation of your investment with different kind of coin, there are new coins which is really showing good track record and history.
It is true ethereum will probably see 1000$ in the 2018 but i don't think it worths putting all your money in it. You can make much more money with putting your money in different prospect coins and if you really want to put all of your money in one coin , you can wait for bitcoin crash and then buy bitcoin with all of your money.
If i were you I wouldn't invest all of my money only one coin it is not safety. You can make different investment. But ethereum is a good choise I agree with you about this. And the other coins that ı can suggest you; waves and aventus.

So I prefer 50-50, half for Ethereum and the other half would be for other coins like iota, Bitcoin Cash and Dash.

I agree, some clients are waiting for Ethereum to fix the issue of congestion otherwise their price will drop and worse, people will dump Ethereum to pump other Altcoins.
I think Ethereum is worth more investment because since the beginning Ethereum price is stable and well probably offer you high return of investment other than Altcoins.

Well you can put all of your money on ethereum if you want to risk it all but for me i wont put it all, you never know what will happen it's like a 50/50 % chance. Go the safest way, just put like a 50% of your money, dont go all in so that you wont lose all of it if it comes to a bad way, and if it goes the right way it's not a bad deal to get half of it you see.

2. Look at the charts and you will see that it is not the right time to jump into ETH.
3. Why ETH and not another one? Did you ask yourself this question or do you just have a "feeling" for ETH because some people are saying ETH will be 1000 USD in 2018?

Wait a bit more, ethereum could go lower if bitcoin spike up more in a few days.
Yes you should buy ethereum with all your money if you have research before, i think it would be risk if you not understand the character of ethereum. Because in my opinion ethereum is more suitable to invest for long term, he need a lot of time for the price to increase.

Risking it with everything is pretty bad because whenever the investment fail you will lose all your money but i prefer to invest at ethereum to but i think invest only half of it or the money that you can affor to lose
it is good for you if you wanted to do it because the ethereum is a good coin as now with great price and its potentail to make the great profit but still you should know the risk of investing on a single coin because if your investment fail you will lose all you investment
