If you got your basic needs covered and are able to provide for your family, I'd say go for it! If it's an organization that has ideas you share and support, why not show this by helping them out and trying to make the world a better place, even if it is in a step-by-step fashion (unless of course, you got some 500k lying around ; ) If everyone donated just 1 dollar for a worthy cause, a lot of things could be changed for the better.
When you have money and opportunity so why not? Donation to charity is always making you better and maybe happy because you can gave chance to live.

Why not? If our donation is really given and distributed to people who really need, then it's a good idea.

And if I have to give first priority to help, I would help children who are malnutrition, homeless, and those who don't get education.

i always do donate some when i meet some charity people in the street that want few cents to eat something
I fully support donating money to charities, but if you ask me at this stage in life I wouldn't. I'm young, still don't have a job, not a real money income. When I'm older and probably with a stable bank account I 100 per cent will donate. Love the fact of helping out those who are in a need. So to answer your question if you have a stable bank account and don't think that you'll need the money you donate in the future go for it.

Charity is a very good thing. But there are so many scammers out there. There are so many problems in the world ... You must decide where to give your money. You should beware of scammers

It is always good to do charity to less fortunate. I would suggest to help those children in the orphanage. Children are more vulnerable because they can do anything to anyone who take advantage. It is also good to do charity in discreet and not publicize, to make the moment solemn and sincere.
I would only donate to charity projects that you can trust or you already visited, because there are a lot of fraudulent projects in my country.

If you have the heart to help others then why not? As long as you are capable and willing to give a hand then it's okay to share what you have. It is a great thing to be a helping hand to others. Giving is the essense of humanity. If we all have the heart to give and donate to those who are needy I think poverty has no place in this world.

If you are able to donate and have the means then do it. It is a good cause and so many will benefit from it. If you are donating, just make sure that the programs that you'll be donating to is legit. Search and search because that is your hard earned money and you don't want it to be taken by fake people for their own personal interests.
