It would be a good way of giving back for all the blessings that we are receiving, to give and extend our hands to those who are truly in need.
I think I would be donating first to old age home because I know what it likes without mom and dad 
You can donate to charity if you are able to do it, but it is a very good idea to give to people that did not have.
The best way a person can be blessed is to give to the poor and needy. We all pray to be successful in this cryptoworld but what are willing to do to help others when we have the chance to? Indeed we cannot do everything on our own and the success we achieve are all blessings from God and we can show him our appreciation by giving out to charity.

If you don't want to work hard, then you will never become rich. Money doesn't grow on trees... and so you need to work hard if you want to earn money. It is always a better idea to put in some work rather than being lazy and complain that you are poor.
If you have a good health, you don't need to as other about donating, just do it right away. It is a good idea, donating to charity will help the needy to cater for the basic necessities of life such as food, drinks, shelter and educational. Because having a blessing feels good but giving and sharing it with people in needs are the best feeling ini the world.

It's only your business. Now a lot of people are trying to deceive good people in charity! I check very carefully before transferring money! I do not like scammers!
Guys, a lot of us make money on trading and sometimes there's an excess that you don't need. Do you think it's a good idea to donate part of the profits to charity? Whom would you suggest helping first?
yes every body should donate charity for helping the people its healthy for society and it encourages the money circulation of the wealth .
It's actually a good act to donate in charity. Specially if you have extra money. Giving is an act of loving and our creator is a great giver. So if you give you will also received more than what you deserved.
I'd involve myself as the volunteer, give some contribution, do what I can, buy stuff and give directly to those who in needs and get connected to them.
Volunteering is much better than donating money to the NGOs. Because it is the hard thing to do. Any one can donate some money and claim that they are interested in charity. But how many of them would be willing to spend a few hours of their time with the orphans and the downtrodden?

Your idea is good if you have extra money then give it to people that have sick or the disabled person so that they have money to buy their medicine. Many disabled person is poor and cannot buy their maintenance medicine thats why their illness is getting worst, so would suggest that give a sickness person or a disabled person.

Not sure why this slipped my mind last night when I posted here but I thought I'd make sure you were all aware of this current program that ends on March 10.
Now, through March 10, the Pineapple Fund is matching contributions (up to a certain amount) made to two charities, Erowid https://erowid.org/splash.php and MAPS https://store.maps.org/np/clients/maps/donation.jsp?campaign=103.
So for every dollar you contribute (and I believe both accept Bitcoin and possibly other cryptos, I know MAPS takes Litecoin at least), the Pineapple Fund will match that contribution. It's a great way to make your contribution go further.

I am very distrustful of mainstream charities. Too much gets taxed and there are too many big wigs on fat salaries. But charity is probably one of the most important aspects of human nature. The ability to not only think about your future but the future of a person you have no connection with is a very human quality which should not be ignored. Just pick the right way to spend it and don't go through corporations.

How do you determine the amount that you don't need though? This market is very volatile that you may have a lot today and then have a major turnaround tomorrow? If you're a whale probably or if you have other businesses but with trading, volatility will constrict you from letting much of your funds go
Yes. It's better to give to Charity if you have the opportunity to do so.
