They are so many treads like that with the same question and the answer is always, Yes, now is the time to invest. If you don't know when is good time so you should get in ASAP. You may loose some, but you will start learning, because dealing with crypto is all bout the experience.
In the current dip situation, I want to put engage some of my savings into alt coins. but it is tough to me to choose the right one. Could you please help me to choose the right one which at least not push me towards FUD?
Altcoins are not bad, there are are a lot of people that i know who are always investing on new altcoins in the market and waiting for their price to increase even more, demand and supply or the volatility of the market will make you earn more profit.
Yes of course! I believe that it is always a good time to invest in altcoins as long as you choose the right ones. Meaning, search on it. For long term, I would suggest you look into coins which are undervalued that has a low supply and a relatively low market cap. Why? Because these coins have a lot of space for growth and if you hold on to them until they explode, I'm pretty sure you'll be smiling your face off!
The bitcoin is quite volatile these days but we cannot say that ethereum is more stable since it has been going through ups and downs as well.
Yes there are scammed and some altcoins has no value but when the projects will be succesfull then you can reap your profit. But in totality altcoins can still be profitable. You just have to do your research in order to find good altcoins.

Just invest on ethereum its the best project ever and the safiest one. If ethreum down i do think all coins is going down so ethereum would be fit for you but i dont think ethereum will give you great return but its good enough and stable.
