one should not invest more than they can afford to lose. but its human tendency that we eventually end up investing more than we can afford to lose. I would advise you to just keep calm and if possible take a break for few weeks as this market is not going to remain same as it is now. we have been in the bear market for more than 3 months now so the bull run is very much due just hold your nerves and you will do well and eventually end up in profit.

you don't lose until you sell in a loss. just HODL

I agree with your point of view. Perhaps the author of this post was too pessimistic about his investment. I think everything will be fine if we have the patience and try to find solutions to the current problems.
If this fails, this will be a valuable lesson and he will remember this moment and will never repeat the mistake again.

Don't panic like that. A large number of people bought ETH at a price that was 2 times higher than yours. And they don't shout that they want to die. Pull yourself together and calm down. You're not alone. We are all waiting for the moment when the fall will stop and the ETH rate will increase. I believe that soon we will be in a good mood for the profits.

Well... The other option is, wait til the end of the year or even til the Summer. You'll be blessed and love life again. You'll probably still double by the end of the year at least. The ETH team is always tying to innovate, solve problems, etc. Just delete the apps that tell you the price and check in a couple of months.

do not take decisions when the mind is in turmoil, suicide is forbidden and can indicate that you are a desperate person, stay optimistic and all you have to do now is hold because I believe in the future Ethereum will have a high price .

Don't panic dude .It will rise up in a month or two and a advice don't put such a big amount of it's important and you can't afford to lose it especially on a highly volatile field and time

You are not loss on that trade unless you will sell your ETH holdings on the current price right now but if you still HODL you will still win don't think for the short term always think for the long term. Always remember this what goes up must come down but what goes down must come up. You don't need to worry and panic just stay calm and be patient everything will be alright.

Yes, if you sell ETH right now, you will lose more than half of your assets. Instead of selling them immediately, you can buy them more. Because the price of ETH is at the bottom now, buy more and wait for its price up to $ 800 to get more profit. This is often my strategy because I always believe in the money I invested.

Well that's sad, and pretty reckless. You might having a FOMO desease when did that investment. But there is one hope, that is you invest on ETH, as long as crypto in general, and ICO is exist ETH will expand and develop. Even you might got huge profit in the future.
No need to kill yourself,
Just relax, forget about crypto for 2-3 months, leave your 25.000, get a real job, (not a stressful one), or maybe vacation, then back to your investment, after 2-3 months.
Selling your ETH right now is absolutely a loss, kill your self is not an option, but HODL ing your ETH might get you huge profit in the future.

small loss? no. it wasnt a small loss because the amount of op invested is pretty big , not only that but the value of eth that time was also huge therfor op just loss a good amount cash on it, however there is still a chance that he can recover that amount by just waiting or having a patience to wait. but yeah i also agree with you that op needs some counselling in order to combat his depressions regarding in this matter and yes , money is only money. there are much more important things in life other than money. the op can still earn that money even if he looses it.

Try to reach out to people around you and get some counsel if available. Money is just a necessity for living. It's not worth to give up life for whatever big sum.

I think you create a fake thread. Because last week you said 100000 USD worth ETH was buying in 800 dollar know I feel sad in current situation. Well it’s an old practice, plenty of people have been doing it in the past. These kind of people are just attraction seekers, though they don’t have any quality to be praised therefore they create such threads to get the attraction and sympathies of the people around. It’s a personality disorder and someone here from clinical psychology could better explain the reasons behind it. These kind of threads should totally be neglected, to focus on the real discussion issues.

I think you should HODL your ETH a little bit longer like 5 years minimum because I believe one day ETH will worth more than 1 trillion market cap and people will think that you are stupid to suicide now while you can be a millionaire by just waiting few years.

Honestly, before everything you must control yourself and do not rush to make decisions which you may regret it in the future, I know this is a difficult period for you because of the spreading crisis on the market. But for me, you've made the right decision when you invest this acceptable amount ($ 25K) into Ethereum. Furthermore, I believe that Ethereum is a profitable currency in a short and long term and It is considered the best currency after Bitcoin.

I advise you to be patient in this period and waiting is the best solution for you, So don't do anything , just keep this amount into Ethereum. and I am pretty sure that after this big crash, there will a jump in the market, and when bitcoin will reach 12K or 13K , then it is certain that Ethereum will rise to $ 1000 or more than that .

Well, you shouldn't have put that much on ETH. Ethereum is very young in its success and if you can't afford the losses you shouldn't have went in in the first place.

Do not even think of doing anything bad to yourself though. There are many things you can do to earn money and one of them is being an entrepreneur. See this as an opportunity to go out and seek ideas you could work with. A dark past might act as motivation for productivity.

Your options with the investment to me would be as follows:

1. Take the loss and cash out.

This is something to consider if you are in need of money urgently.

2. Ride on with the market.

Worst case with #2 is that you might never actually see the same amount of money. Sadly, it's a possibility. However, if you believe in ETH and holding is a viable option then do so and see where it gets you. Perhaps once the news about ASICs are cleared with developments from ETH foundation the price could shoot up again.

You have to get what you want your own way.

Suicide will never be an answer in your problem whether inside or outside the crypto world, i suggest you put a little faith in Ethereum after all its only the second quarter of the year just hold patiently because for sure the value will skyrocket by the last quarter of the year just like before. And they're right stop monitoring the value, it will only stressed you out, focus on other things and before you realize the value is back to the way it was or even better.
