why you want to commit suicide? the world is not the end, you still have another chance to fix your problem and don't thinking too short. I believe that if you still want to try, no matter how hard your problem, you can solve it with a good decision. stay calm and think with clear and don't panic or even commit suicide. just be patient and do something else so you don't think about the market in daily and you can do this and I am sure that in the end, you can get your money back and make a big profit for you.

I invested half of my saving ($25,000)  into ETH when it was $725. ETH has now plunged to $459. I am very worried I will keep losing money and I fear for the worst.  I want to go kill myself   Huh

So, you are saying actually your life is worth only $25k? If yes, then go ahead and no more waste the earth resources. C'mon man, just for the sake of few thousand bucks you've started to get suicidal thoughts? :O I can't believe that. Let me share with you my genuine story when I entered into crypto, I started with $23k and didn't know about the difference between shitcoins and the authority projects like you've already chosen ETH. My investment drops down to $15k and finally $12k. I was in a bit of frustration, but not in extreme situation like you are. I waited around 6 months intense situations and you know now I've recovered $200k+ from cryptos and even currently have more than $60k in crypto assets. If I'd have invested like you in a strong project (ETH) I wouldn't even think about tension, instead taking it a long story Cheesy Also its a human nature especially in crypto and stocks when the noobs jump into it, they always thought about the ups and ups, and never think about drops. Which are the reason they got frustrated in no time and the whales actually multiply their billions just because of this noob's weak point.

And the good of it, you lose everything in this case, wait a little longer. If he continues and until the end of the year to fall then many will get pulled over to you, but for now it's too early to panic.

It's disappointing that diversification wont help much in this situation, market is highly depending on BTC price, and while BTC isn't any stable, even good project are falling without chances.

Calm down, were in a market of not stable so you should expect this may happen always. As I always said understand the flow of the market don't invest yet if you dont know nothing. I have investment in ethereum and all of it are in losses. So keep calm and wait market to high especially in ethereum.

Please my friend don't do that!
Friendly advice if you kill yourself you couldn't see what will happen next if everything will increase. If you kill yourself you conclude that ethereum is more important than your life? Money will regain again but life couldn't for it is just once. Better don't worry too much to avoid negativity toward your profit. Always remember that with your life you can earn more than $100k but without your life even one cent you couldn't gain.

Have some patience my friend. Market is in a bad run at the moment and if you don't sell you haven't lost anything. Ethereum will go up again and beyond your initial investment you just need patience.
I think the panic is reasonable but you must be ready and have to be patient. because now you probably also already understand that there are many issues in the lift to drop the bitcoin

Just be patient and relax. It will be all fine in next few months when prices rise above your buy prices. Just do not borrow money to invest.

If it was savings I am assuming it isn't money you have an immediate need for anyway. Just have some patience. I am sure if the money was tied up in a low interest rate bank account (maybe 2% APR if you are real lucky) you won't be logging into the bank's website everyday obsessing over the change in interest rate or why you earned a few cents in interest, would you?

Like your opening words said, you "invested", so now you need to do what all investors do, sit back and have some patience. I know it isn't easy knowing your paper losses seem to be mounting, but keep in mind that is all they are at this point, paper losses. Nothing changes your initial investment ideas and goals unless, and until, you sell. If you sell now you guarantee yourself a loss.

My advice would be to quit looking at the price charts for a few months, as I do think we will go lower yet. But I also believe that within 12-24 months your investment will be back in the green and maybe for a lot more than you expect.

This is not a lot different than the bitcoin crash in 2014 when it went from a high (at the time) of $1200 or so all the way down to almost $100 again. A lot of people who bought at or near the high were selling under $200 just to "get out with something" as the gloom and doomsters were out in full force proclaiming the end. The thing people selling didn't realize at the time, is that those pushing the gloom and doom the hardest, were the very same ones scooping up the cheap bitcoin for sub $200 prices. The same thing is happening now, but I think we still have more down to go.

You may think you could sell now and buy lower, which might be good advice, but since it is hard to pick the bottom there would also be the chance of it making a rapid recovery and you losing out even more. However, if you really are feeling that terrible, it might be best to take the loss and just move on.

In the end it is up to you to decide, but no matter what happens it is just money. That may be painful to read, but you need to realize life truly is about more than money and learn to quit obsessing over it and go enjoy things that do make you happy.

Why don't you try? Go ahead. Perhaps the second before you pull that trigger or you push that chair, you will realize how stupid or foolish you are. You are not even losing half of your investment with the figures you gave us. A lot of us have lost more than a third of the value of our investment, and it is even larger than $25,000. I think only a handful of individuals have thought of committing suicide. But if you think that a few thousand dollars is only the value of your life, then go ahead and do it. I bet you won't. You are only being impatient, too emotional. I advise you to get out of crypto if that is your attitude.

If you believe on your investments you shouldn't worry that much, stop over thinking and stay away at the price speculation or avoid any crypto currency pricing so you won't get stress about it when it is falling but instead just leave it there for at least six(6) months before you go and look at the price again. Chill and go on a vacation first and leave everything on the internet that was stressing you the most. Just enjoy your life first, you aren't the one who's experiencing this tragic phenomenon.  Grin

Damn! what kind of thinking is that you must not do that because your money will be useless.
Better to wait for the price to go up and focus yourself in your family. The market is dump and I see this as a normal thing.
Hope you will not do that, and have more patience. Life is better than money. Smiley

God you're a drama queen...

Never invest more than you can afford to lose. You can read this on almost any crypto site, article, exchange, forum etc. If suicide is your option now, you probably didn't respect that one and only rule. I hope you won't commit suicide but I also do hope you stop whining.
