But there can be exceptions only if the investor is really familiar with the new project and has full confidence in the integrity of the development team and in the prospects of this project.
so basically it is difficult for newcomer investors to enter this industry because the investment is not so clear they will make, for that reason then of course investing in ICO will no longer be recommended because the risk is too large and also returns are very worrying for them so it would be better to invest in the top coins in CMC

i dont think that its a good idea to buy into ICO in 2019, its like gambling
ICOs are death. Now the time is investing on IEOs time. As IEOs are supported by exchanges scam project probability will be low when compared with ICOs. As the IEO will be listed directly at the exchange you will have a chance to start trade in a short time.
As IEOs will affect the reputation of the exchanges, exchanges must watch the IEO Project team closely and they must be sure that projects are going on road.
So it is better to invest on IEOs inside of ICOs.

A few years ago, ico companies were really very interesting and every cryptocurrency user, including investors, hoped for the professionalism of the teams that would work to improve and implement their projects. But it turned out that most developers only wanted to raise as much funds as possible from investors, which is confirmed by the lack of development of many projects today that took place ico in 2016 and 2017. I believe that it is reasonably possible to invest your money in an ico company only when this market has certain regulators or controls. If this helps to avoid fraud in the ico company market and inaction of developers, then many investors will be happy to invest their funds in an ico company. Perhaps that is why today many people are most interested in IEO, and not ico companies.

In my opinion, I still choose good and potential ICOs to invest in despite knowing that there is not much profit as before. You should remember ETH was also an ICO and it has climbed to the top of the altcoin. But really at this point you shouldn't invest in the altcoin market is collapsing.
Seems like the age of ICOs is over. It is better to invest your money on a solid, profitable coin with proven results such as BAT, or Enjin coin - if you really like investing in altcoins, not bitcoin.

It's not easy just to determine by checking the mission there and the team members. many are good and can be trusted, but not a few who end up deceptive, because indeed the situation does not support the results can happen like that.indeed need a very observant analysis by looking at some time ago when ico was running and how the investors responded.

There seems to be a new wave of ICOs coming up again. The crypto market also appears to be getting ready for a bull run.
I am wondering if buying some decent ICOs will be wise at this point.

I will be speaking nine months after you posted this, it's not worth investing in ICO until, now there are no changes ICO's are still not good to invest, there are so many scamming and bounty hunters are not satisfied on the rewards they are not getting, there is still no changes and I don't think there's going to have a change, people are going to IEO and leaving the ICO. I am wondering if buying some decent ICOs will be wise at this point.

The current market is not for people with poor sentiment because the value of so many great coins is having a huge decline so investing in ICOs will not bring any profits for yourself.I usually advise people to take a break during this time and should wait for the most stable period next year because I believe that 2020 will be a time when the market has many big changes so it will definitely be good time

Invest in ICOs these days is totally not recommended for IEO are still much better and secure. However, profit-making in new project investment is really hard if the investors don't have adequate knowledge and speaking of projects who are yet to kick start or unable to follow their roadmap are the project which the team lacks experience.

I won't really invest in ICOs right now, as it is really difficult to differentiate between scam and real project. Investing in bitcoin and ETH is more preferable.
the reality is like that, and that is what makes the market demand now also decreases the purchasing power of new tokens. even when you say it's better to invest in bitcoin and ETH, the market demand for these two great coins is not so good right now.
You have to stay away from the ICO program because the ico program is now unreliable because there are many fraud cases that often occur, so now you just switch to the IEO program, which is more trusted and very beneficial for you, many exchanges that hold IEO programs are very very recommended for you like binance, kuCoin and many more
You can still invest in projects if they are potential projects and have a high success rate.
