At this time I would not do it. The value is in fact now very low and I think that that changes.
I think the later is going to be well worth.

You are very right, the price will rise.

We just have to patient till it will rise.

I think after the halving it will happen, do not sell your coins !

It's too low to sell right now, unless of course you bought bitcoin when it was worth around $1.
If you don't need to sell, I wouldn't. Just hold for now and wait for a price increase.

I do not agree:
One has not to trade in relation of our previous trades...but in relation of what the market will do.

if it is good to sell it is good for every boddy
if it is good to buy it is good for every boddy.

your explanation about $1 is non sense.

You completely missed my point here. Everyone could be in a different situation.
My point of what I said was that as long as you're making profit, you're good.
Just because I'm selling and making $200 profit doesn't mean that you should sell when you bought at $350.

Depends on your current situation. I myself am tossing bitcoins around for profit. Even small gains I'm grabbing so that I could increase my stack for the long term. Whatever I gain goes directly to it, thus enlarging my stack a little bit more everytime.

It depends on who are you :
If you're trader, sell high & buy low (repeat it until you're rich)
If you're short-term investor, sell your bitcoin (if you believe price won't increase)
If you're long-term investor, don't sell your bitcoin (if you believe price will increase)

If i were you, i would use my bitcoin normally & only sell it when i really need fiat Roll Eyes

In my opinion the most people buy low and sell them high, its the best method.
But everyone will sell them high, who will buy them, I think we all should think about that.

Mostly bots and people who think the price will rise further. For example; Plenty of people have bought at sub $300 prices and are now selling at $370. At this moment there are lots of people that say right now is a great moment to buy. Some people find the current price to be very low. These guys are buying up the coins beside bots.

i dont think that people should start selling their coins right now as in the future there might be a huge price increase

And it is now starting... price is now starting to climb again a few dollars since yesterday...I think its a good sign that price might go up a little this week..

It is for sure, I think the price is rising again for a bit.
We have to be patient till it really going to rise.
But the price will rise in a few months for sure.

I think you should not sell your bitcoins.

The bright future of the bitcoin itself is nice.

So if you would sell them you will blame yourself afterwards.

Nope, selling BTC is always a mistake, you think you are going to be able to short, but then you either loose more money, or get outside of the game because you can't join again as the price goes up. It's just better to buy and hold long term and by long term I mean at least with a vision of 10 years into the future.

I would not do it if I were you.
Because the value is very low and I think it is not wise to do it. I think later, if you wait it will be worth more.

I think we should not go selling. I think the fact later is going to be worth much more.
So I would if I was your wait selling.

Indeed, I think it would not be smart to sell them now quickly.
I think you will regret it if the price will rise to a high amount plus the halving is coming.

It can be a smart move, too, if bitcoin's price continues to decline a few months prior to the halving. In that way you will have the time to sell at a higher price and buy back in lower, thus enlarging your stack.

if it is good to buy it is good for every boddy.

your explanation about $1 is non sense.

If Alice bought 1 BTC at $800 in late 2013 she'd have made a paper-loss of around $400. The second she sells her 1 BTC she's realised that loss, and incurred a loss of $400 - she had $800, now she has $400.

If Bob bought 1 BTC at $200 in early 2015 he'd have now made a paper-profit of around $200. The second he sells his 1 BTC he's realised that profit, and gained $200 - he had $200, now he has $400.

So no, a good price to sell for me is not necessarily a good price to sell for anyone else. In general people try and buy low, sell high. Someone who bought at $800 in late 2013 would probably not regard now as a good time to sell, unless they needed fiat too badly to wait for the price to improve.

there isn't a price too low to sell at. people have different reasons for selling their coins. one person may sell because he needs the money in his personal life. the other may sell because he finds the price to be boring because it's not moving much. and another person simply panic sell even at a loss because he can't handle volatility. some people even secure profits when they are only up like $20-$30 on their bitcoin investment.
