it depends on your situation. just teach them to be content and happy in their life. or maybe you can ask them of what they want to grow up and suggest a good way for him/her to reach that goal.

May I look at this from another angle? I think the cultural heritage and ethics is very paramount and needed to be considered before we can conclude whether the children should be business inclined or should be good employees. If it is in the culture where if the children are tailored in business, the children might not want to be very much serious about their further studies and might end up not been very good educationally to face other world Economic class, they should be trained as successful employee at the initial stage and business inclination at adult stage.. In essence, I feel both should be applied based on the prevalence cultural heritage and ethics of that Economy.

I am in favor of teaching the children to be business oriented.It will make them more independent and knows how to earn money at an early age.Anytime they can apply for any job but if they know how to manage a business they can have both.
here on the Philippines McDonald's are offering summer programs for kids as service crew for them. To teach them how to make burgers and greet customers. It left me to realize that this is employee mentality. Why not reach a child to bake cookies so that he can have additional income even when Summer breaks.Me, I finished my course while studying at the same time working part-time in the fast-food chain, Jollibee food Corps. is the company that really help me.
So, it's the best thing to teach our children earlier business and the same time know how to be a productive way to have a source of income while they still studying. Like working crypto and working fast food chain as a crew, it is the best thing to know that they are stand by their own feet.

We all have that thought why do Chinese people actually make it in the business world. The reason apparently is that at an early age, their parents are conditioning the minds of their children to do business in the hopes that they will actually be heirs to their family business.

The way I see things is that teaching children in business is part of the chinese culture even in era days. Chinese people are really a merchant and that is the way they are living as time goes by to preserve their culture in business they teaching or encouraging their children even if its not the right age to teach them. Just like the Chinese people it is not bad to teach them even if they are children in the business industry, however we also need the opinion of your child if they want or they love to learn our business because some children is forcing to learn and they really do not want to enter the business industry.

All the expectations of my parents are sure to want his son like that. Become a successful child and happy family. But when it comes to work, employers are better jobs than employees of a company. It should be convincing to our children that entrepreneurs are fun, and that they can get more profits sooner. Always give motivation and support for them to be successful human beings.

A businessman mentality is much better,because it can lead him to be a successful and to be riched,unlike to be a successful employee it will never lead him to become rich someday.

Yes, it is important to educate our children's about doing business in their young age. Even they have their own dreams and wants to be in the future. Much better even they are in an early age they know the importance of doing business rather than become an employee of different company.

For my opinion, I have two answers both are contradict to each others. Yes, teaching our children to be a business mind or oriented at an early age is useful because they can use it for their future to become independent and skillful when it comes in holding money. But In the other hand it is not right to push our children to do and learn business at an early age because they are only kids and let them play with their friends and savor every moment of their childhood. The right time will come .

ITS A BIG NO!!!!!!.. To be honest, I have the mindset that I don't want to become an employee in the future. I don't want to become a slave for higher people. I'd rather choose to stay at home while earning than going to a company then they will command you with what you need to do. We need to have the mindset of Chinese people that when they teach their children, they teaching them how to become a successful businessman/woman in the future and not to become a successful employees. This is the reason why Chinese people are rich people for me. Mindsetting is the key.

That is a very nice question and worth discussing in this costly era!
The thing is, not every kid having skills to do a business and not every kid is made for the employee place. Everyone having their own development skills throughout the the life and everyone is not the same.
We have to really ask our kids whether they are interested in having the employed life or whether they are going to take the risk of doing business which can set their life forever. Its upto them really and if they agree on one thing then we can actually start working on their skill sets in that way.

Teach them to become a good businessman, become a businessman is totally way better than become employee, you work harder then you can receive better, if you become employee, you work harder, your company that the one got better, and there is an age limit to become employee, but you can do business until you are willing to retire

We can teach them both but it depends on the capacity of the child and also his wits because even when we want them to become a successful businessman if it's not their forte we can't do anything so it depends on their ambition on what to become when they grow old.

I think it depend on your observation to your child,if you will have observe that there's even a little potential to be a business minded,much better if you will teach to your child how,and what are the benifits of being a businessman,and how to become a successful.

Having or owning a business is better than being a fulltime employee for the rest of their lives.I think teaching our kids basic things at their early age on how to run business is a very good idea inorder for them to create new ideas as they grow old on what business to start with.Let's us challenge them to be more independent and to create money of their own.

There are a lot of chinese people here in our country, the Philippines. The popular businessmen and millionaires in our country is mostly chinese. They make money out of Filipinos. How? Chinese people are taught how to handle a company or a business at young age,they are good in making money while Filipinos are taught by their parents to study hard so that you can get a high paying job. The difference is the mentality of the two.So who got richer in our own country? The Chinese, for the reason of being businessminded and being skilled at it. the situation varies in every family. come to think of it if all the people will do business who will be the buyers? it has to be balance and do not mind slave your children. let them decide for themselves.

The businessman mentality is something unique.Only a minority of the people can have such mentality.
It requires strong work ethic,huge willpower,ability to take risks and never give up,good social skills,etc.
I don`t think that most of those skills can be trained.Anyway,the children should learn ro value the money.They sohuld learn how to properly manage their money(when they become adults) and how to invest.
