zawawa you happen to have a Antpool zcash account i can mine to it seems to build the balance faster PPS mining if not I'll use the flypool address. i used to mine BTC on antpool https://www.antpool.com/ and eligius which was my favorite pool to btc mine on I made the most BTC there till the S7 destroyed it all for me and slushes pool https://slushpool.com/accounts/login/?next=/dashboard/.

The battle for speed. I think there is not much space left for speed increase. But who knows ?
CM is almost unreachable for OSS community. He is taking his 2.5% devfee and of course he will have the time to develop and improve. No dev here has any benefit to continue develop this project. Basicly current status is in sleep state and probably will remain that way for a while.
Just because you say so? You assume something that hasn't been true the times before you claimed this statement. The guys still working on it and not sleeping or stopping development just because you proclaim it.
Let the devs have the Thanksgiving and so.. there is no need to hurry. If you need a miner that is faster than the OSS one take CM or so..but stop proclaiming the end of OSS dev

This is indeed a major rewrite. Now I'm convinced I can do this, but it's very time-consuming. We will see.
I think I can modify ht_store to get performance on par with Optiminer. This would be straight OpenCL. If I have enough time I should have something ready to test tomorrow.

I think I figured out a way to make SA much faster without changing the existing data structures too much.
It would consume video card memory like crazy, though. Oh well, something gotta give.
We can worry about new data structures with more efficient memory access patterns later.

I think I got all I needed from nerdralph, which is already plenty.
I just need to squeeze out the code at this point.
I would say the ETA is contingent upon my wife's last minute plans for Thanksgiving and Black Friday

now with CM 8.0 i get on my RX 370,
ZEC - Total Speed: 117.602 H/s, Total Shares: 7, Rejected: 1, Time: 00:00
ZEC: GPU0 117.602 H/s
I was getting 88 sol I haven't tested my 470's or 480 or R9280 , but I'm Still on SA side and hoping .
I don't care how much memory SA uses shouldn't that put those memory bios molded cards to better use ? .
SA is still better for other reason.

Just tried optiminer for the first time sense it's in windows form now, it didn't come close to claymore or was about 30 solo slower then Claymore. and there paying 15 % for that lol . SA all most matches optiminer version and it's free . SO I'll wait for the rewrite of SA under windows, i got a feeling it's going to out do Claymore or stand with it . i read some place Claymore's next version will be even faster.
Mybad it's the Pool I'm using if I use Fly pool with optiminer version it is all most as fast as claymore, sense i like using antminers zcash pool because it is a PPS payout . I'll stick with things the way they are sense claymore and SA both let me use stratum+tcp:// with no deceases in speed or let me use stratum+tcp:// in the address that seems to actually matter pool wise and claymore or SA don't need to use the CPU it seems optiminer is using .
