Why you think MAX_SOLS should be 20..it gives me just  alot of incorrect shares  :-(

Together with a code change. I use max_sols 20 in sp-mod #1

The nicehashminer is currently doing 253 sol/s on an overclocked 980ti. vs only 80-90 in the silent army cudaport.

I think they have moved and optimized the code that check for duplicates from the cpu to the gpu and increased the max_sols.

#define MAX_SOLS         10

Should be increased.
I don't see any difference except for cpu usage when increased.

Her we have another optimization for GTX1080 which works good.
https://github.com/maztheman/nheqminer/commit/511ed791d93943b5338c491312fba8cc5aa61403

We can merge it in..?

To bad that my AMD rig killed the PSU due to OC on the line. The AMD RX480 are not operating in the specification f PCI SIG I leanred it now the hard way.
4 Cards that supposed to consume not more than 600Watts non OC peaked at 800Watts..

So I'm left with my slow nvidia rigs that is not doing much sols due to miner (max. 620sol/s on 5 Cards)
Looks like krnlx's code with some modifications. Propose it to him for merging.

Nobody is mining zcash with the opensource miner anymore, because it is too slow.

The nethash is divided between

1. Claymore (#2 AMD windows)
2. Optiminer (#2 AMD linux)
3. Nicehash (#2 Nvidia Windows/linux)
4. Private kernels (#1 windows /linux)

Zcash is beeing harvested
Optiminer is slow and buggy. for 20 more S/s is not worthy at all.

So we need the Claymore miner to increase the speed again so that it will be the number 1. 390 will be 300H/s.
On the contrary! We need to support these devs to release stable and fast version. This is open source project for now at least.

All of a sudden, things became crystal-clear to me. No worries.

you figured ou to achieve 200 sol? so we can get rid of that nicehash miner that is doomed on their pool, i like to accumulate zcash instead of dumping them...i smell a pump

one who smelt it, dealt it.  Cheesy

On a more serious note Claymore has said he will have  a new miner out in a day or two.

Do you think SA will be able to keep pace? How much do you think may be able to achieve with the 470/480 cards?

they are not motivated enough, because clymore is charging a fee that keep him busy and working hard, the other guy are just releasing friendly release...

i'm more interested about nvidia though...

i can confirm Nvidia speeds 200+ is achievable

i tested latest eqm_v1.0.2a (unfortunately NH locked it to their sites)

2x1070 +150, +700 =430 sols (roughly 215 per card)
1x1080 +0,+0 = even with 5X gddr and without oc gives me solid 147-150 sols

*evil grin* can someone disasm their miner and remove NH pool requirements ?
If you think for a while you can do that yourself...I don't think on the other hand that disassembling nh miner will help this project at all.

Flypool has done that at least once, I'd guess they'll do it again at some point.

This is indeed a major rewrite. Now I'm convinced I can do this, but it's very time-consuming. We will see.

Search a few pages behind nerdralph's post. It explains it all. Not much than 200S/s for 480s stock clock, and probably 10/20 more if you are able to find the correct mem straps.

CM is claiming these speeds...linux community still far behind...These posts make me angry that I didn't learn C 15 years ago when I had the chance...
