Nice info for newbies, this isn't restricted to ERC20 tokens only using etherscan or ethplorer, but to other coins. You just have to check the explorer of the coin to ascertain transactions when need be. I remember explaining this in a crypto group discussion last two years.

Hi fellas, i want to drop this info mainly for newbies on this forum that just start getting familiar with crypto wallets, i was waiting for some tokens to get delivered into my coinomi wallet since a month ago but they never appeared but the projects teams claim its been sent but guess what? i decided to track my address last night using Etherscan and i saw all the tokens there, sometimes your tokens might have arrived in your wallet but you won't know until you track your wallet address or you manually add token contract address, thank you.

I think coinomi wallet somewhat different with Etherscan
On Coinomi Wallet, if you wanna see your token/coin there you must add token manually.
On Etherscan, your token seen automaticalluy but not for all token/coin. And if you feel that your token has entered your wallet, you need to log in via Myetherwallet.com, metamask, etc. and add the token address manually to see your balance

obviously once seen on etherscan the tokens are certainly in the wallet if they are not seen (they have not been automatically added) you have to add them manually by entering contract, name and number of decimals

Coinomi is not support using for your wallet address for participated on bounty campaign or airdrop project, you can't receive payment if using this wallet address although you have submit correct address on form participants, before joining bounty campaign or ICO project looking which one recommendation wallet payment using for participated.

sometimes there are obstacles and errors in the transaction of a coin that goes to the wallet. but the error is not a long time, and will definitely be resolved soon. so maybe our step is to check and maybe try to add the wallet address manually. so I think this is not a concern. keep calm Smiley

This is a very simple solution which can solve several headaches. When I learnt my imtoken can sometimes not show tokens I stopped using it to know when a token is sent or not, I now resort to scanning the wallet via Etherscan. Thanks for sharing this and I hope newbies wil learn this and also learn how to add contract address for tokens to show up.

some beginners don't understand about it, in my Facebook group I often find questions like this "I saw my token on etherscan, but I don't see it in my wallet. why is that?" that happens because the token hasn't been added manually, although there are some wallets that automatically appear. in imtoken adding tokens is easy. just need to click the (+) sign, then select the token / search by typing it. After it appears, click the (+) icon again. then it will appear. but on myetherwallet. someone has to add it manually using symbols, contract addresses, and decimals. then our token will be seen.
I have also experienced similar confusion when I was new to cryptocurrency. Then I find out by reading a few threads here that explain about adding tokens manually, and that only requires contacting the address of the token, simply. That's why for the newbie, you should all read more to understand the ecosystem better. Don't just get confused and do nothing, be active.

that why i move out to trustwallet , not meant to compare but as far i know ,the trustwallet still give a notify about income transfer even it a shittokens.
and about coinomi itself , its totally good , but for me , coinnomi is not a good choice for erc 20 token farm , they just listed manually the erc 20 tokens.

yes, it is true etherscan useful for checking the balance token in eth wallet erc20 now using bots in the telegram is also very helpful to see the tokens that have been received. This is very simple and helps a lot of people who want to see their assets they will see it is very easy you just enter your wallet eth address if you want to try https://t.me/ETHtokenExplorer_bot
if you choose a wallet for erc20 for your token then you can use a myetherwallet wallet which in my opinion supports all kinds of erc20 tokens and I believe more if using a wallet from myetherwallet rather than using a wallet from a telegram bot which in my opinion has a high risk.

To accommodate ERC20 tokens, currently the best and easiest to use in my opinion is MEW. We can easily monitor the value of the tokens that we have and also find out which exchangers are trading it. Besides being safe, in my opinion MEW is easy to use even for newbies

This problem is for add token contract address or without patience hunters those can't wait until see token in their wallet. I like coinbase wallet and for Ethereum blockchain token Ethereum wallet. I don't use MyEtherwallet app because every time I need to sign in to check my wallet.

give coinomi wallet address for payment it's found out mate when you see ether transactions in your wallet ,so there's no need to look at transactions in etherscan too to know that well even though it's needed but in my opinion it's better to give an open wallet address not an application
Oya? seems quite effective rather than having to check it periodically. Especially for reward bounties, if we are late to sell, we often miss the moment and lose value. So if there is an ontime notification, it will be more profitable. However, is Coinomi safe enough?

New people in the crypto wallet need to learn and understand how eth wallets and tokens worth before they even use them. You need to find out how to gain access to your tokens before you get them.
You will also need to find out about etherscan just like with any other block exploroer to track what is goinf on in your wallet. Do not transfer tokens without knowing these things. You should never deal with finances without first figuring out exactly what is going on. You could end up losing a fortune.

Yes you are right, sometimes you won't see notification in your wallet that you have received a token until you manually add conyract address yourself.

How I wish we have a wallet like that in Erc20 so we'll know if there's a token that arrive in our wallet, that would be cool but f course you will need to include your email in that wallet, we have seen so many kinds of wallet right now, but when it comes to new token, and these tokens are not yet verified in the network, they won't likely to show up, and there are a lot of tokens with similar names, so your best bet is always the contract creator.

This is a good information especially for newbies though, they might not know the value of this post until they experience it first hand. It happened to me, I was lucky enough my friends taught me. I think the best way is to always check Etherscan, because it shows all levels of transcations, be it normal transactions or ERC token transactions.

Every erc20 tokens can be showing on etherscan, you can check your balances of your token and can tracking every single transaction on there.
Not all erc20 tokens that listed on coinomi wallet, only tokens that taken collaboration can be showing on that wallet.

Yeah i think we better use MyEtherWallet to track all of our erc20 tokens since it's the official wallet from ETH and it can be opened in many device mobile or dekstop it has a good user interface also.
We just need to enter the contract address manually when we want to make a transaction
