Hi fellas, i want to drop this info mainly for newbies on this forum that just start getting familiar with crypto wallets, i was waiting for some tokens to get delivered into my coinomi wallet since a month ago but they never appeared but the projects teams claim its been sent but guess what? i decided to track my address last night using Etherscan and i saw all the tokens there, sometimes your tokens might have arrived in your wallet but you won't know until you track your wallet address or you manually add token contract address, thank you.

Some tokens will not really show, especially if it's a new token you have to manually add this token by using the contract creator, I also experienced that I was waiting for my coin to arrive in my wallet, but when I checked the block explorer I saw my coins that I was waiting to arrive and it arrived two weeks, without me noticing I've learned that I need to add the contract so it will show up in my wallet.

Yeah before this happens normally.
Since there is a lot of airdrop back then, you wont see your tokens mostly due to errors maybe.

Adding the token decimal and also the contract will make it visible in etherscan.
I don't really know why this kind of things happen but I always look at MEW or contact the team behind the ICO in telegram and ask them what to do.

give coinomi wallet address for payment it's found out mate when you see ether transactions in your wallet ,so there's no need to look at transactions in etherscan too to know that well even though it's needed but in my opinion it's better to give an open wallet address not an application
he already gave his ETH address,
the problem he experienced was that the coins did not appear in the coinomi wallet, but after being tracked in etherscan the coins were in the wallet,
I think it's a problem with Coinomi,
indeed wallet applications sometimes experience this disruption, especially wallets that are not from trusted sources such as trust wallets or coinbase.

Not necessarily a problem with Coinomi alone. Partly theirs because if they are allowing a particular token in their wallet, they should be adding its proper account to it. But it is not entirely their responsibility because custom token addition is also the task of the coin owner. We all know that there are tokens that we need to add manually to our wallets. It does not take much effort though. A contract address, number of decimals, and ticker or symbol are what we only need.

we will never get a notification whether the token has been sent or not. we do have to check it manually with etherscan and can also add smart contracts from tokens that we will receive. there will also be a history of transactions that occur during this time period. to check tokens that have been listed in the market exchange or not, we can also check them manually using the smart contract tokens on the exchanger that have been listed by the team. but if the team has indeed provided information about launching tokens to the market exchange, it means that we can already trade or withdraw.

I would advice all the newbies to learn how to use cold wallets - at least to find out how this works. And also suggest using MyEtherWallet and Metamask if we talk about ethereum and ERC20 tokens.
The utilization of cold wallet is simple, you just buy it (it will be good to choose which have trusted such as trezor and ledger nano) and send the coin into it. However, I just doubt when the newbies who have intention to store their altcoin to cold wallet. Because the price of altcoins is more volatile especially vulnarble with pump and dump. Which is mean you need a quick time to sell the altcoin to avoid lose. But I will agree if they store bitcoin to cold wallet because bitcoin is promising to store it for long term investment.

you are right because the use of the wallet is very important so each user must be able to understand the ways to use it because if a little is wrong the funds transferred may not go to the intended wallet and at this time the explanation needed is in many articles and on the MEW website too there is

There is nothing to worry if it will not be credited in your account yet as long as you see it in the blockchain as that is a proof you send your tokens at the right address. I am not using the particular wallet but I had experience with other wallet providers, delays are sometimes inevitable.

I have a way to fix this problem. telegram supports bot to notify when a token is deposited to your wallet. You just need to start the bot and fill your wallet into it.
His name is: @tracktxbot
This is the type of bot that people often doubt about its honesty and some say that this bot will steal wallet information and will soon break into and take away the token. So my question is how long have you been using this bot? Is it effective and your wallet still safe?

Hello friend, actually I am not a coinomii user, but I just want to add, that for every transaction that occurs in eth wallet in general will not be able to be seen directly in your wallet, but that you must add manuals especially in MEW, ok by sending the transaction that has been completed, and the token has indeed been sent to your address, if you do not add a manual symbol, decimal, the token then you will not be able to see the coin posted on the wallet, and you will think that sending the token failed.

I still don't understand that incident? what affects so that the token is not visible, so you use etherscan to verify it. That way does have a significant risk. Please enlighten me, thank you
He has just shared ways to confirm arrival of tokens in wallets. So that if anyone else faces such situations, he will first confirm the presence of coins on his own by using etherscan. Basically, at times, the coins send by the team of a project may fail to appear in your wallet regardless of all the information provided correctly to them and coins delivered already by them. Coins do get into our wallet but just don't appear. So this way, you can see the coins.
It is good to hear that you are not having any sort of problem like this and your wallet is also working fine for you. Myetherwallet is actually a nice choice. However, if the guy is sharing his experience with us to benefit somehow, I think that is really sweet of him. This is the benefit to becoming part of such forums. We can come across very helpful and guiding posts. For me, your words are also very informative.

That was normal you cannot see all the tokens in your wallet if not added manually in your wallet.
Your wallet already have tokens that have 0 balance but if you could not see the token you wanted to send you could add it easily in the wallet it happened to me a lot of myetherwallet using the ERC address you have a lot of tokens that are already in the website and you could also add the address of the token. But in your situation nothing to worry if you already see the transaction in the etherscan.io it will not be going to disappear but not going to appear in your wallet because the token itself is not yet added, but if you add the token it will automatically show your balance.

Some time your token arrived in your wallet but did not show because the token is not added by Ether network and you need to do it manually. If you want to check the total tokens in your wallet browse your wallet id in etherscan there you will find all your wallet history.
True, it must be added manually for those that are not detected. Only requires smart-contract, simple.
To find out the latest updates from your wallet activity, it helps you download a trusted application that allows you to monitor it. For example, for tokens in the erc20 chain, you can use imToken. Remember, be careful when choosing an application, make sure it's official. There is also a telegram bot that can provide notifications but is only limited to two wallets if I'm not mistaken. The rest, you must always monitor manually, new users must understand this well.

Yes that's true, most times imtoken does that; a token might be sent and it won't appear neither will you get notifications about it. Funny enough I had same experience with you, until I checked Etherscan. In fact now, I have bookmarked Etherscan and that's where I scan my wallet when the need arises to be sure before checking the appropriate wallet app.
Scanning wallet is actually the easiest so far checking for token is concerned.

You can track you transaction by looking etherscan history, although you use not support wallet you can get history id of your payment transaction and check there your payment have sent or not, next time if you got payment token have platform erc20 better created myetherwallet account because very easy and faster for receiving your coin, for other wallet only for saving your asset like coinomi.

hello I do not understand your point, whether you can give a complete picture. if it's a problem about losing a token maybe I can help him, hope your funds can be returned.

He says that your already landing tokens may not be visible but you have to check them manually if you use Coinomi, there might be some kind of bug so he shares this information.
