Because of 11.11 promotion on Ali express, this board can be purchased at 229 USD. If everything goes well with this board I will buy atleast 5 more.

These boards look nice.
Anybody know if they would work with the 8x 1080ti?

that board costs 229

the board I have been testing is 142

and it works really good with 8x 1070's

I can tell every one  if you are going to try  8 1080 tis you will need a lot  of extra fans.

My guess is the board I am using will work better for 1080 ti's and the color is better for 1070's

maybe only 1060's due to the pci  following.

would like to see it with  to see it with 1080ti's

this psu  may be the game saver  for my board

I paid about 190 for it.  it will do 8 1080 tis  with power left over.

but I don't think you can mange heat of 8 1080 ti.s

take a look at my 8 1070 s

5 water cooled 3 fan cooled

Thanks for the reply
Been looking at that psu, it looks really good.
Maybe I’ll be better going for the 13 slot asrock boards and putting as many as I can on them with risers

Well Just got my COLORFUL Mining Motherboard 8 Graphics Cards LGA1151 Colorful C.B250A-BTC PLUS this morning,
Just ordered:
Intel Core i5-7500 and
Crucial Memory 8GB DDR4 2400Mhz SODIMM
I already have 64GB mSATA.
In 1-2 days I will receive them and will post the testing of this board.
Look more suitable for Mining then any other boards. Lets see.
Box was shuge
Keep us posted! I like the no 24 PIN connector! Saves a PicoPSU as well! So no risers, no PSU.. that saves.. what? $100-$130?

I have three of these Colorful boards coming in a few days too.

I see a 4pin for maybe CPU power on the board.... how does that work without a 24pin... keep us posted.

Would these just need a cable adapter for the PSU to use with a server psu only?  This is the motherboard I'm most interested in for future riser free builds.

The lights look good.  I have studied  your tests  and it looks to me  like these boards  will not do that well  with  air cooling.

xmrig-amd (https://github.com/xmrig/xmrig-amd) has Nicehash support

Thanks, tried it out but I could only get one thread working so around 1450h/s.

xmr-stak-amd seems to work fine with Nicehash though, just changed the pool to cryptonight.eu.nicehash.com:3355 and my BTC address, off it goes mining at 1800+h/s

edit: scratch that, all my results are being rejected. I found this https://github.com/fireice-uk/xmr-stak-amd/issues/95 which says Nicehash should be supported soon - I'll keep my eyes out and use xmrig in the meantime.

You can also use cast-xmr https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/cast-xmr-high-speed-xmrcryptonight-miner-for-rx-vega-gpus-2-khashs-2256917. Since version 0.6 I find it quite stable with nicehash support.

Working well thanks  Grin 1930h/s at 150w

I will be using APW3++ or can use APW5, We do need PSU right. Because of no risers, Saves space, some watts, less failure points = less troubleshooting.

@philipma, it is very common with sellers on alibaba and aliexpress to provide tracking past deadline, usually they are selling what they don't have and they order it only when they receive payment from the buyer. Aliexpress force sellers to provide tracking before deadline so many of them provide false tracking to avoid order cancellation and provide the correct one couple of days later.

well the girl seller  has been better  with speed and tracking

for the sample mobo and the ten piece mobo

allen has not been very good with the 1 piece sample

I was voting i posted a few back with secondary account. and got a note from dhl on my phone trying to figure if it is from alibaba for the sample or from newegg.

looks like it is the sample board from allen   should arrive on thurs day
