I think dev should look at least at BTX or DNR for how to promote, advertise pros of the coin, if there are any, maybe some signature campaign etc.
DNR also has 10Ml coin and unique algo but it is traded on cryptopia, has decent promotion, at least real cold wallets, tshirts etc to show and attract - that why the price is where it is.

1) Devalvate existing coins by increasing total ammount - not fair to owners. And will definetly drop the price to 1sat.
2) Reduce reward drastically (10-100times). The problem is simple - who will mine then? There should be something special to attract investors. But there are no exchanges to do that and nothing special in the coin or at least attractive like MN/POS or reallife usage.
All these extremes are not good at all.

A road map in white paper describes in some detail the future ecosystem. These two exchanges do not work with kryptonite coins. The emission curve should be with a gradual decrease in the reward. This is good for investors and future miners.
2) Yes - it is "curve", but 1 soldo and than 0.01 hardly can be called a "curve".
Anyway without buy support (100x times increase in price), there is 100% chance that only dev will mine his coin with 0.01 reward.
